I entered the salon at 4:45, all technicians were busy and asked me to wait till 5:15. I was seated at 4:50 and they began the process of removing the acrylic off my nails. The technician was working two sets of hands once. I finally had her full attention by 5:20, the acrylic still not off by then. I almost decided to leave with bare nails with how slow the service was moving. The technician was visibly rushing my nails as if the store wasn't closing by 7 and I wasn't her last client. The results show how much they care. Ends not capped and polish still all over my actual fingers. I left the salon at 6:50 was actually the last person there. This service acrylic removal+ powder was $65 total. After complaining, another technician recommended I come back tomorrow for her to fix it. That's nice, however when accepting someone's money, things should be done right the first time.

    Thanks Kim

Thanks! It was quick, no appointment needed but it's not guaranteed. Nice people around.

I love everyone here. I always have trendy nails that last 4 ever. The staff is always including everyone in the fun they're having at work. I travel over 10 miles just to be seen. I can't recommend them enough of you want a consistent community of nail techs.

Gel X and design I love it

My mom loves this place. Been coming here more than 10 years. This place is family owned. Shop is clean and organized. Staffs and manager super friendly and nice to clients. They do good on Gel X, design and pedicure also. Price is acceptable during this inflation. They earn one more credit cause they next to Vons so easy go market and nails after.

Love coming here and getting my nails done! I get gel x on my hands sometimes with design and sometimes without. I also really like their pedicure options and quality of their work. Id definitely recommend it!

Horrible job on cuticles and nails are way wider than my natural nails

Worst nail salon for dip powder nails. They widened my nails to the point where the powder is stuck to my cuticles and hurts. My finger nails look fat, not the desired look. They did not apologize for making me sit there for 2 hours while they had another technician try to fix it with an intense filer. I would not recommend this place for dip or their customer service. Also, they are cash only.

Friendly staff. I'm satisfied as a first time client. In Yelp it says 6pm, google says 8pm but they close at 7pm Monday to Saturday. They're closed on Sundays. They accept cash only...

Nice, clean place with a friendly staff. I got a pedicure and sat in one of the massage chairs. It was pretty worn down so I had to sit on a pillow but the massage portion was still working well. The lady that did my toes did a great job and the pricing seems reasonable so overall good experience here!

Pointer finger is the one that broke the next day with my real nail underneath

I used to like this place. Ann did a good job with dip powder on my nails though she works very fast, faster than any other place I've been. On my third time returning she did the most rushed job and within a day my natural nail underneath broke as she didn't file it correctly. I called to let her know what happened but didn't have time with my work schedule to get it fixed. Most of the filing on all of my nails was actually done pretty inadequately and as a result, this has been the shortest lasting manicure I've had. Then about a week in, one of my nails completely broke off and broke in the middle, quite awfully. Upon calling today my calls were ignored and blocked. I called from a different number and she answered then, when, finding out it was me she immediately hung up and stopped answering from that number. All I ask is that when someone does my nails they fix them? I was also simply trying to come in for completely set and willing to pay for it. When I find a place, I like I stay loyal to them and I'm a little bit dumbfounded by the treatment. It goes against the conversations I had with her while she was doing my nails about her being real. I would not recommend.

I loved my experience! Even though they were super busy, the utmost detail and care went into giving me the best French mani. No wait time. This is going to be my new spot!

Kim, Ahn, Nicole, Tina & Thoa are the best manicurists I know! I found Pink Nails at the end of 2019 & never looked back. I could add all the photos of the nail art they've done for me, but I would want you to go in experience the service & bubbly energy. I recommend booking in advance as they're BUSY!! I love these women, they're all bosses!

Well, my daughter loves this place since her gel manicures stay on for longer than any other place we have gone to. She's two weeks in and no chips yet, that's pretty good. My only beef with the business if that you make an appointment, and often times you arrive at the scheduled time and you still have to wait. The last time we waited, we both had appointments for 12:30 PM, they took my daughter right away but by 1:15 PM, I was still waiting for someone. At that point, I didn't want her to have to wait for me, so I just told them forget it and just finish up with my daughter's nails. I told her that we're not going back there and she was like "MOM, my nails stay nice forever, we can't not go back there." So I guess we will be back! Cost is $40 for a gel manicure, which seems pretty much like the going rate.

I had a very disappointing experience at Sugar Nail in Century City…read more My husband and I went in for a manicure and pedicures, and from the outset, we felt pressured into upgrading to a more expensive pedicure (around $68) that we did not want or need. During my husband's pedicure, the technician applied an acidic substance to his feet, and then left him attended. Mind you, he and I had the same "deluxe" service but did not have the substance applied. He repeatedly told the technician that his feet were burning when she returned. Instead of addressing the issue, his concerns were dismissed, and the service continued. Over the next several days, his condition worsened--his feet continued to burn, the skin began peeling, and painful sores developed. What should have been a routine, relaxing service turned into a genuinely concerning situation. When I raised the issue with the salon, there was no meaningful follow-up. After multiple messages, I was told the matter was being "looked into" and that a manager would contact me. That never happened. The only response I received came after I indicated I would leave a review. In that response, they suggested this was due to a "pre-existing condition." My husband has never had any prior issues with his feet. This explanation appears to be a convenient attempt to avoid accountability rather than a good-faith effort to understand what happened. My concerns are threefold: * Pressure to upsell services we did not request * A service that appears to have been performed improperly and without appropriate monitoring * A lack of accountability or timely response when the issue was raised. Based on this experience, I cannot recommend this salon.

The salon itself is clean, relaxing, and has such a calm, welcoming vibe -- you can actually unwind instead of feeling rushed or herded through like an assembly line. She took her time, made sure everything was shaped perfectly, and didn't cut corners at all. You can tell she really cares about her work and takes pride in what she does. My nails came out flawless -- clean, precise, and exactly what I wanted (honestly even better). On top of that, she's so sweet and easy to talk to, which just makes the whole experience even better. It didn't feel transactional, it felt like being taken care of. If you're booking here, ask for Grace -- she's the one. I'll definitely be coming back! :)

My Mom is immune compromised due to chemo. If you are immune compromised this is not the place for you! They do not use clean instruments. Or files. Everything is just sitting in the trays in their carts. Never did I see them open a sterile package with tools. At least the women who did my moms Mani pedi were nice. The ones that did mine acted like they were mad. Maybe mad why they had to fit us in? I don't know but it was obvious they were mad. Very unfriendly & kept speaking to one another in their language like they were pissed off. Especially the woman who did my toes. Manhandling & she even cut me, and waited until the very end of the pedicure to say sorry. The cut hurt! And she even needed to get up to get disinfectant & acted even more mad. She also stopped with the nippers after so the pedicure was terrible. One of my Big toes with the gel is all lumpy too. Luckily I have muiprocin at home, it's an anti staph ointment to rub my toes down with, otherwise I'd be really worried about infection. I feel like if she wasn't so mad she probably would not have cut me, & maybe done a better job? I only gave two stars because we were previously happy here in the past. Otherwise would be a one star. This was not my first time here with my Mom, & we were beyond disappointed. It was definitely our last..

Review for Zoe - Service performed is biosculpture gel…read moremanicure refill on fingernails. Quality is excellent, no chipping even though I tend to be rough with my nails and wash my hands a lot. Zoe is detailed and really looks at every angle of each nail to review her work. She's also respectful of my requests, listens to and addresses concerns, you just have to communicate it from the beginning so they know. I've also gone to Shak and Sarah before for gel manicures and observed how they check their work of every nail angle too. I am hooked on their biosculpture gel manicure. It was $85 before, but increased to $90. If you pay cash it's $5 less. I often walk here, safe neighborhood, but they have a decent parking lot if you drive. I usually stick to a solid color or French tips (extra $20-$30 depending on length) and have been coming in every 3 weeks or so. The workers usually chitchat with each other in Mongolian. I actually prefer to not have to talk to anyone when getting my nails done since it's my time to decompress, so this works out for my personality lol. I'd be interested in trying their pedicures, dazzle dry, and nail art in the future. Attaching a before and after with very clean regrowth after over 3 weeks. Edit 5/6/26: added a photo of my nail growth journey. I started with regular gel end of February with short nails (left pic), then started Biogel end of March, and here we are beginning of May (right pic). My natural nails have never been this long before. I had Oyu yesterday for the first time, I am highly sensitive to heat spikes (when drilling or the UV lamp) so the first few minutes of drilling were very painful and had to keep telling her, but same situation with Sarah before regarding heat spikes, that I just had to tell them and they later adjust how heavy or light they press. Oyu learned to adjust to go lighter with the drill and felt much better. So tip if you're sensitive like me, it's important to have that conversation with your nail tech. He completed the nail fill, but then got up and told me someone else would be doing the color and design. Kai left the salon not long after. The person who attempted to do the design was nice, but could not execute what I had requested. I don't know if she was training, but I would have appreciated being asked first. Ended up settling for a more basic design than what I wanted. I hope they address the lack of professionalism and don't do this to other customers in the future.
