Had been going to Pink for about two years. I loved the convenience of it being in Derby but the quality was not consistent. The last two times I got a fill and then a whole new set. With both the fill and the new set, my nails were lifting not even a week after I had them done. The first time it happened (literally the day after I got the fill) I went and got my nail fixed and they apologized for the inconvenience. Even with the fixed nail, they all started lifting one by one and I didn't even get two weeks of wear out of them. I am very intentional about the care of my nails so that they last as long as possible. I thought it might be better to just go ahead and get a new set, however, the same thing happened again three days after I got the new set. I didn't even bother going back to get them fixed because at that point I knew that they wouldn't stay on even with being fixed. On top of all of that, appointment times are sometimes not honored. There were times when I had to wait 20-30 minutes after the time my appointment was scheduled. If you are looking for a quality job and for your appointment to start at its scheduled time, go elsewhere. I felt like I had paid $50 for press on quality. read more

I have been going to this shop for about 18 months now. Was in on Sun- Feb 22nd. I got and paid for a pedicure and then a fill on the Gel-x for a total of $135.00. Before I left, yes everything was ok- obviously it would be as my feet had JUST been done. However, come Monday- Tuesday I began to notice there was still a significant number/ areas of rough calluses and areas on my heels a, side of my feet and bottom "ball" of my feet. I did exactly what the website says to do. I contacted the business w/in 3 business days- "If you are dissatisfied, please notify us before leaving the salon so we may address your concerns. (again, feet were still moisturized from the pedi- so obviously I would have had no issues prior to leaving). I didn't start feeling issues until a day or two after. Policy States that a complimentary redo or fix may be offered at management's discretion within 3 days of the original service." I made contact via Insta Mess-as I have learned that is the quickest way for a response. On, Feb 24th I was told to " Please come back in so we can take care of this for you. We would be more than happy to redo the scrub and smooth your heels properly. Just let us know a day and time that works best for you, and we will get you scheduled." They sent a link, I clicked the link and rescheduled for today- Feb 25th -STILL W/IN THE 3 DAYS. Even though I had scheduled like told too I was treated rudely from the very beginning of my appt. I told them at the desk that I had talked to someone on Insta- told them what they told me and that is what I needed. I did not at any time ask for a full pedi,or a polish change. I wanted the calluses scrubbed off as they should have been. My only request was that I did not have the same person that did them on Sunday. She hurt my feet several different times- whether it was that machine thing getting too hot or her digging too deep into one of my nails. Cutting my nails too short, etc. Again, my ONLY request was that along with the removal of the calluses. He told me to go pick my color- so in my mind they had to remove it because of having to put on the callose remover or something like that. I tried to find the color I had on. I waited around maybe 10 min and he came back with the full pedicure cart. Again, I thought it was strange- why would I want a full pedicure for a callose removal? He took off my polish, applied the callose remover stuff and scrubbed with the little blue grinder thing. As he was doing that the "manager" came over and was talking to him in whatever language they speak. When she left, he told me that I would not be getting a full pedicure ONLY the heels and smoothing out. That with no charge. I said that was fine because I had no reason to get a full pedicure when I had one 2-3 days ago. and that's not what I wanted anyway. He then proceeded to treat me like a child b/c I put my feet in the water - which my right foot was already in there so not sure why I would not put my left in especially after he gestured my foot back. I stretched out my toes and he "yelled at me- WHY YOU DO THAT? you make me work too much/ twice as much work/harder". I was baffled by that but asked what? he pulled my feet out and put more of the remover stuff on then put them back in the water again! He said he would be back in 2 minutes-so that could soak. He came back in those 2 mins and advised me they were NOW charging me $15 for the polish change! He said you ok with that? I said NO I am not but I don't really have a choice being you already took off my polish). Yes it was only $15 but again, I just spent over $135.00 plus tip on Sunday). He could tell I was upset so he called the manager lady over again she tried to say I was getting a new color change I should have to pay, etc etc. Tried showing me the OWNER's message to which I told her I did not want to see. I would pay the $15 and never be back after. She than called the owner who was on speaker phone no less- I told them I did not want to talk to him- but the nail tech said to talk to him& owner would make it right. What a lie that was- he did nothing but berate me, make me feel like I was wanting something for free told me it cost him money for product, and I am leaving w/ a diff color/ product - TRIED to explain to him I never once asked for a polish change- I went along with what his employee did) He told me I had to pay for the new polish and he didn't care if I was not happy about it. I told the mgr lady to hang up b/c I didn't know how her case thing worked. He still kept talking! told me to get the FU*K out of his shop! All the while the whole shop hearing what was happening. For that man to talk to me like that and be the owner over $15. That is a rude and disgusting attitude and behavior to have. I have never in my 50 yrs been treated that horribly by a business owner. Their guarantee is nothing but a joke just like their attitudes! They lost 2 customers today that's for certain! read more

I had been happy with the service until the techs started gossiping about me and my husband to my friends that go there. They spread lies to my friends. I don't know what the techs agenda was other than to damage friendships. They twisted words that they have no business sharing. Very unprofessional. I won't recommend them nor go back. read more

My family and I tried this place. Our usual nail salon went down hill and we are on the hunt for a new one. It was soooo nice going here. It was relaxing, they honored our appointment time perfectly. The drinks were strong, but still good! (I had the pina colada). And all our toes turned out amazing. I'll have to come back when I'm due for a fill!! It might be our new spot! read more

I'm going to give this a NO STAR. Went here to enjoy a day with my 2 daughters and they wouldn't accept appointments on Mothers. Said a wait was 30 minutes. Waited 1 hour and 15 minutes and no one offered anything to drink. Sat us down and no one came to a chair. Others were waiting to get started on as well. It was an unreal experience for a nail salon. I usually go to the same place in Wichita every time because they're the only place who does it right every single time, but decided to try this place out in hopes i could go somewhere closer to home. I had a fellow who was very friendly and nice, but the shape was not worth being charged $5 per nail (my usual spot does not charge for shaping so this was new to me). The lady who did my 11 y/o nails took it upon herself to upgrade her even though I had booked the appt for a basic full set and had told the lady that as well and so did my daughter but she went ahead and did the more expensive service instead and with this being my daughter's 1st time, she had no idea (and honestly me either bc I had told her so many times I assumed we were on the same page). Honestly overpaid ridiculously too much for poor quality as our nails already look grown out and the shape is VERY wonky.. didn't realize how bad until i took pictures... I did call to speak about the pricing since it was more expensive than I anticipated (and have ever paid even having getting designs before) but not the work so that's on me for not attempting to have them correct it. I just assumed if neither of our nails turned out great by 2 different people, there's no point and wasting anymore time. Would not return unfortunately. read more
