This place is amazing! I got a manicure and pedicure and it was amazing! It has a great pedicure seating and the chairs massage you! They put hot towels on your legs and massage them with lotion! Also during your manicure you get a sugar scrub put on and then lotion massaged in! I have been going to this place for years and still love it! read more

My experience with them from the jump wasn't good. If I could give them zero stars, I would. I tried to give them the benefit of the doubt but I wouldn't recommend them to even my worse enemy. I called at 11:30 to see if they could get me in for a fill and pedicure and they said yes. I got there at about 11:45 and patiently waited my turn. Finally at 12:40 I got up and asked the girl at the front desk who's maybe 15 how much it was going to be cause I've been waiting for almost an hour. She got up and started talking with Kathy, one of the nail techs. She came back and told me to have a seat in chair 3 and one of the other girls I believe her name is Cam started working on my nails. When it came time to do the polish I showed her a picture of what I wanted, which was a simple marble affect, nothing crazy. She called Kathy and she told me that no one knew how to do the marble to which I replied, "no one in this salon can do a simple marble?" Kathy walked off. She then came back and told me that a different tech can do the marble for me but it won't look like the picture and it'll be an additional $25. I told her, "Never mind I'm not paying an extra $25 if I'm not going to get what I want." After all that they switched me to Kathy who was absolutely horrible. She cut me multiple times and my nails were crooked. Every time I wash my hands now, it burns cause she cut so many times and so badly. They didn't even have pointed ends like they're supposed to with the coffin shape, I had to refile my nails when I got home. To top it all off, they didn't even do the pedicure I asked for either. I've never left a nail salon without tipping at least something so this was a first. I DO NOT recommend them to anyone, they're rude and unprofessional. read more

I just want anyone to who might be considering this salon to think twice. The girl used a freaking electric dremel file on my NATURAL nail beds. It felt like they were on fire and I kept telling her it was hurting. Finally, at the end she was manually filing the sides of my nails and caused me to bleed on TWO fingers on my right hand. She continually apologized and I felt like she really meant it until she said "I'm worried you tell my boss". Uh ok? She also got glue all over under the tips and now my skin is all gross underneath them. I will NEVER go back to this salon and will tell everyone I know not to waste their time and money! I'm attaching pictures of the cuts, I had to wear bandaids for a day after because if anything touched my nails it hurt. I'm worried what my natural nail beds will look like when I get these removed. Very unpleasant experience this afternoon. When it comes to My nails, I know what I will and will not accept as a paying customer. If I want to soak off my dip nails because I do not like the drill, please just let me soak and not ask me 4x to do it another way. I've had nail issues in the past and this is safer for ME. The nail tech was unfriendly to my mother and passive aggressive throughout our experience. After I washed, I requested she clean up some areas where the dip was on my skin and hurting me, she literally stated, "looks like this coffin nail too rough for you"....literally degrading me. Later found out this was the manager. Highly saddened by the level of unprofessional verbal and nonverbal communication by her. Terrible. Super simple watermelon design. She ruin my natural nails. I told her I am a severe nail biter and I've been growing my nails out with acrylics for over A YEAR!!! I specifically told her to please not break them or change the square shape because as a nail biter if my nails aren't perfect I WILL bite them. Nope. They are round and some are square. There is dents in the paint on my fingers and I had to repeatedly tell her that the seeds of the watermelon should be on the pink. Not the green. Like duh I know you've eaten a watermelon before lady. They were rushing wanting to get home and that's insane. They made my CHILDS toes bleed and charged me for a Felix pedicure rather than a kids pedicure. She's 9. What a rip off. Never go here. My moms nails are also trash and are on fire even hours after leaving the salon even though she repeatedly said Ouch! read more

Pedicure is $25. There are a lot of different priced pedicures to choose from, however. They did two things I've never had done before which is one, rubbing hot stones on your legs. Two is putting a cream over your legs and wrapping a hot towel around them. With a design painted on toes was $5 more. Only a 4 star because their selection of greens and blues is pretty terrible. My daughters and I went here for the first time yesterday. I called and they were able to do all 3 of us at the same time about 20 minutes after I called. We arrived and were blown away by how beautifully decorated the salon was. They also had 2 rows of pedicure chairs and several manicure stations as well. The 3 women who did our pedicures were wonderful. It was the first time I had ever brought them for pedicures so they were nervous but they left wanting to come back again. This salon did not meet quality standards. As a former salon employee, I am tremendously disappointed with the experience I had at Sunshine Nail Salon. Today was my first time at Sunshine. I made an appointment via telephone at 1 PM. When I came in, I wasn't greeted. I didn't know what to do, so I just stood at the reception waiting for a nail technician to come by for 20 minutes. When she finally did, she didn't acknowledge my appointment. I didn't receive service until 30 minutes after what I scheduled. I thought, maybe, they're just busy. Give them some slack. Then, the nail technician that did my nails did an okay job. Bless her heart. I had to interrupt her several times during the process to ask her to fix a shape or notify her she missed some corners while painting my nails. My experience toppled when I had to pay more than what I was told over the phone. Sunshine is not straightforward with their prices on certain polish or services. Maybe it's just business, but it's certainly shady. Last thing, the environment was friendly, but I couldn't get past the lack of cleanliness and hygienic practices in the salon. I came with two of my girl friends and we waited and the lady sat me down and i asked if i will be able to sit by them and she said no. kathy was not only rude but i hated the outcome of my nails, after we got done, come to find out kathy also cut my girls nails 5 times in different spots. not worth the $60 fee. read more

The salon itself is beautiful! A very welcoming atmosphere and relaxing environment! The ladies speak wonderful and it's very easy to understand them. The lady I had was super attentive to my foot's needs. I work at a farm and am on my feet all day, 6 days a week. My callouses are horrible and she took all the time it needed to fix them properly! I went in for a deluxe manicure with powder dip. I left with decent nail color, but they didn't give me a manicure. They didn't even fix my cuticles. Not a terrible experience, but I said "deluxe" several times and felt like they just brushed me off every time. I certainly felt over charged since I didn't even get the basic manicure. My friend brought me here a week ago to try out because I usually go to Nails Today in wichita. I got white shellac on my toes and not even 7 days later the polish started to wear off. I called and asked them to fix it and they said they would. I came in & the lady was asking me who did my toes, where did I sit, when did I come in. I answered. Then her and multiple employees come up periodically while I'm waiting, asking me if I went swimming, or that it was my shoes, or water did it. The First Lady said "you're tan, do you tan?" I said "no I'm just black, I don't tan." She told me to pick another color so the issue wouldn't happen again. After waiting for an hour to be helped (which is understandable, I was a walk-in fix) she told me that she wasn't going to give me a different color because she would have to redo the entire pedicure and she didn't want to do that. I said okay that's fine, put the white back on again. As if it hasn't been a huge hassle already, she starts bringing all the nail technicians to my chair to look at my nails. This was the absolute worst experience I've ever had at a nail salon. I will never be coming back. Not to mention I paid $60 for the pedicure?! Bad experience all around read more

Maybe one of the worst mani/pedis I've ever had-- and I'm a regular. I walked in a few days before my wedding and was sort of pointed in the direction of the gel polish options. I was disappointed by their small selection of colors. The first color I chose, they were out of, second choice wasn't at all what I wanted, but as close as I could find. The man who did my nails must have been in a hurry. He cut my cuticles (as in bleeding) in three separate spots-- that was a first for me. My mani it is not yet a week old and it has already peeled off in one spot. Not impressed. One of my big toes is already chipped as well, but I didn't get gel on my toes. My leg massage was amazing, but the arm/hand massage was non-existent. As soon as the tech was finished, he grabbed his coat and brushed past me as I was walking up front to pay. It was clean & the people were friendly. The lady who did my nails did a great job & she was very thorough. She did a great job w/o needing a long time to get it right. HOWEVER, My mother had the same thing done to her nails & was taken back about 10 minutes before me. My nail tech was done about 10 minutes before hers was. Ordinarily it wouldn't have been a big deal, but we'd made other plans & didn't expect to be there an hour and a half for a simple manicure. I think they did a great job, I was just a little surprised that we had the same thing done and had such a difference in time spent. I have never left a bad review on anything, but this needs it. I've only been to this salon 3 times. I'm very petite and have small nails. But I've had little manicures since I was 6. I'm 20 now. Kim Than did my nails.. was VERY rough with my hands, made me bleed twice, kept cutting above my cuticles and seemed in a hurry. Her painting was terrible! I was in pain the whole time and dreading the whole thing. Even with the buffer I was fidgeting and couldn't wait to be done. I almost walked out with half of my hand done, I was in so much pain.
