I was surprised when I was given a referral from a Nephrologist about a concerning rash that it…read moretook 3 months to get an appointment. I was 11 minutes late to my appointment due to surgery. At which time my appointment was cancelled and it was gonna be another 3 months before they could get me in again. So I took a first available 2 months out on the west side of town. I arrived early and had to wait some time to see Dr Shackleford. Once I did I explained I had several things to visit with her about. I was told "I don't have time for that! Youve only got three, what are your top three. We discussed the rash. She kinda blew it off and gave me some lotions. #2 some reoccurring scabbing on the top of my head. Again she said it was nothing. Then I asked about some what I thought could be squamous cells on my face. After a third sense of just nothing. I asked should we burn em off. She said if they bother you we can. I agreed. She burnt off some spots and once I got to my car and looked in the mirror I noticed the main one hadn't been touched. I was her last patient of the day @3:00 so they were closing as I left. Totally disappointed by the entire experience. Tried to talk to administration and was told I was given a service. Doesn't matter if it was crap or not thus I've allowed them to send my co pay to collections and I will address it thru the insurance company.

I've been receiving care from Wichita Dermatology and Aesthetics for years, since back when they…read morewere still Moeller. I primarily see Sarah Johnson, Dr. Johnson, and occasionally, Christine Curl. I've had numerous procedures, from biopsies to blue light treatment to surgeries for skin cancer, and each provider has always taken excellent care of me. I think I've had over a dozen surgical procedures, including Mohs surgery, and each time, everything is explained thoroughly, and all of my questions are answered. For melanoma surgery, Dr. Johnson refers me to a general surgeon, and I appreciate that he recognizes the complexity of melanoma treatment. Dr. Johnson has also been treating my son, who has a rare genetic disease that can manifest with skin tumors, and he's been very satisfied with his care, as well. Sarah has been especially pivotal in making sure that my skin checks are performed regularly and that any necessary procedures get scheduled and taken care of as soon as possible. She's always so kind and patient, and I appreciate her so much! I also have nothing but great things to say about the nurses and the office staff. Everyone I've interacted with at Wichita Dermatology is friendly and caring. I recommend this practice for any dermatological needs. They go above and beyond for their patients!

Dr. Nabbout is extremely dismissive and will not listen to you when you are explaining your…read moresymptoms. She will prolong treatment by not updating you on lab results. And in order to even get labs requested, you will have to spend multiple weeks going back-and-forth with her. When she misdiagnoses you and you call to let her know that your symptoms have gotten drastically worse, she will continue dismissing and continue prescribing things without confirming what is causing your symptoms. Because of her, i will now have permanent scarring all over my body for the rest of my life. I would highly discourage anybody from seeing this care provider. If you are looking for somebody who cares about their patient and listens to their patients thoroughly, this would not be the provider you would like to see.

First off I want to say that this review is not about the surgery itself because I decided not to…read morehave surgery with him after the consult due to what I felt was some deception on his end. I want to say I believe he does good work from what I saw with reviews when he "wants" to. Firstly, I had been looking for a plastic surgeon that could do an arm lift, back bra line lift and later a tummy tuck. I was under the impression I was PAYING and driving from Colorado to have a consult for all three things! NOT SO! Also, BEFORE I ever agreed to come down I spoke with his surgical nurse and made sure he was willing to do touch up lipo on the arms, arm pit and back areas where he would be doing the lifts and skin removal. I asked for the same with the tummy tuck. She was emphatic that Dr. Conrad ALWAYS does lipo only WITH the lifts because this always yields the best results. Well, I drive all the way there and paid my consult fee only for him to tell me "this consult is only for the back and arms and naaah, I don't want to do lipo with it, but you can come back six months later and pay for that separately!" He also said he didn't even want to to an extended arm lift, which is what I need because I also had an excess of skin and some fat in my arm pit area. Lol, like how convenient to get more money instead of just doing the RIGHT THING and combining procedures (like was PRE-AGREED TO) so I don't have to drive back and go under anesthesia AGAIN and pay the full price of lipo vs. a combined price like the other plastic surgeon consults I had agreed was the best way to go. From my understanding you deflate the arms with lipo and then remove the skin for the best result, not vice versa. Even one of his nurses said "sometimes he's unpredictable on what he wants to do each day!" Well I guess so! So he lost my business when he could have easily agreed to what I wanted, actually given me a consult for ALL the surgeries I wanted, which was very reasonable) and earned my business. He also asked me if I had any intention of losing more weight and I said maybe 10-15 lbs, but I'm pretty much at my goal weight now and have stayed here for close to 1.5 years. That's when he said "oh see yeah, 10 lbs makes a MAJOR difference in a tummy tuck so you'll have to pay for another consult for that!" Just unbelievable! I'm happy to say I went to another surgeon who recommended I actually do a circular tummy tuck with back lipo FIRST and THEN do the bra line back lift and extended arm lift and now that I just had my circular tummy tuck, 360 lipo and BBL fat transfer ALL TOGETHER I realize my surgeon was spot on in strongly recommending this order!
