I went here recently in the hope of having a relaxing massage to ease back tension.
The therapist asked me if i minded a bit of pressure, i said ok and jokingly said to her that id let her know if i was sore.
The massage started off well but then she started using so much pressure to the point where i was in pain, however instead of stopping she just told me to "take a deep breath in". I did this but the pain was excrutiating. she later explained this to be due to the fact that this side had more tension than the other side and advised that i take a hot bath with epsom salts later.
I paid for the treatment and left the salon unsure as to what had happened as i was in pain but took the therapist at her word that it was just down to the fact that i was tense on this side.
However the following morning i woke up with bruising over my back and the area which had been in excrutiating pain during the treatment was all swollen, i will NEVER return to this salon and I would not advise anyone to have the back massage! read more
