I received what I thought was a nice present from my partner who bought a voucher from groupon for a full massage + Indian head massage with Renata Avendano , I checked on line and I was delighted to read the other 2 reviews on this application, so I was very happy to book with Ms Avendano, when I first called she sounded a bit lost like she didn't know what I was talking about but, as she explained, I understood she was in a hurry to get to work and called her at the time she asked (10am) so I did and scheduled an appointment for the following Friday at 5pm, as she was booked for the rest of the week, on Thursday she txt me she accidentally overlapped two bookings and asked me to postpone to 7pm, no problem I said, but on Friday only one hour before the appointment she txt me she was having a "vomiting bug" and asked me to reschedule.... I thought she could have of being more professional and first of all give me a call instead of txt me and second I thought the excuse, even if sincere, was a bit too gross to tell to a new customer, anyway I understood and rescheduled for a week later at least she could have recovered completely, I asked her if Friday 6pm would have suits her as it was the best time for me and she actually organised for 7pm, ok apparently she doesn't know that after disappointing a customer she should accommodate them as much as possible, I understood again and accepted the time, on the next Friday she txt me "again" few hours before the appointment to cancel "again" this time the excuse was panic attacks and she needed few days off, ! A part for the fact that after postponing and then cancelling already once I would have expected extra effort for this new appointment, besides I thought the excuse, although sincere....again, was extremely too personal and unethical for a masseuse, how could she expect me to reschedule after that, a massage, a part for the pressure on muscles, is an interchange of energies between masseuse and client, I had panic attacks for over two years before and I know how bad a person can feel and surly the energies are not in the right place especially when one needs to make someone else feel better, not gonna happen, although I should feel sympathetic with this lady I really feel disappointed as I believe her justifications are only lame excuses just to try to push my voucher far with the time and let it expire, I know that if the first contact is made on time that's not possible but yet I felt like being treated as a second class customer just because from groupon, I don't understand why some companies waist their own and possible clients time if they don't care about their own business. I asked her if I could be refunded and of course she didn't even had the good manner of replay to my question!
