There was no sauce for the katsu either and the breading of the katsu was not crispy. It was soft and fell apart. I was still hoping to end the night off well but both of us ending up getting bad food poisoning that lasted for almost 24 hours. I'm not usually one to write bad reviews unless it was pretty bad but the food poisoning just sent it over the edge. Aside from the chicken katsu everything was very visually appealing, I just wish it didn't make us sick... and I was hoping it would taste as good as it looked. Also the wasabi was turquoise.. never seen that before

I ate at Ping's Hibachi last night with my other half. Absolutely fabulous! I had no idea that Ping was the same lady from the Korean resteraunt that used to be where Walgreens is now. Shock, she remembered me from years ago! My hair is white now. Asked if I wanted very spicy food. Obviously yes! Shrimp and scallops were delicious. Hubby has plebian tastes. He had steak and chicken. He loved his food too. Ping said she remembered me because I used to eat at the other resteraunt least once a week. Bi bim bop spicy....so good too. As good as oriental food gets in Warrensburg. Very clean, friendly service all in a timely manner. Sushi is always rolled right in front of me, which I really appreciate. I'm always greeted with a smile. Easily my favorite restaurant in town, would marry the store if possible. read more
