    The only place I trust to groom my dogs! Laura is the BEST, not just adequate, the BEST! She's very attentive, caring, and understanding.

    I love pineville pet quarters. My dogs love it. Their prices are reasonable and i feel safe leaving my dogs with them.

Until today, I have never had any issues. When I arrived to drop off my dog, River, for his grooming appointment, I was told I needed to provide updated rabies vaccination records, which I would have to obtain from my vet. Unfortunately, the vet's office was closed. My groomer, Kayla, explained that she was legally unable to groom him without that information, which I completely understand. I went back to my car, searched my phone for any record, and returned to let them know I did not have it. I also explained that I had not been informed beforehand that his updated rabies information was missing from your records. At that point, another staff member chimed in from the back and very rudely stated that this information had been included in a text. The way she spoke was unprofessional and dismissive. If important information like rabies records is required, it should be clearly communicated in a separate, direct message--not hidden at the bottom of a general confirmation text. Instead of showing understanding or kindness, this employee was disrespectful and showed no sense of customer service. The entire encounter was unpleasant, and I left feeling frustrated. When I spoke with the manager, all I was told was that she would "speak to the employee." That is not enough to address the situation. This experience has completely changed my view of your company, and I will no longer be bringing my business here. It's disappointing to see a place I trusted for years show such a lack of professionalism, courtesy, and basic customer care. I will never return here to any location and I advise nobody else does either. As the rude lady said with a sarcastic rude tone as I left "have a good day" what a joke. If I could give zero stars, I would.

She's a rescue, and very nervous and scared of almost everything, so I was really hesitant. From the moment I called to book an appointment, to when I picked her up, the staff was so kind. As expected, she didn't cooperate very well, but instead of the staff making me feel guilty or shaming my dog, they nicely recommended I talk to my vet about a calming medication to help with the next appointment. Do Not Take Your Dog Here!…read more We took our puppy to Modern Pet Salon for the first time because we heard they use scissors instead of clippers, which we thought would be gentler. It turned out to be a terrible mistake. We specifically asked them multiple times not to cut too much of her hair, especially since she doesn't like it, but they insisted she had too many tangles and needed a full trim. Not only did they ignore our request, but they cut our puppy twice, both on her ears--areas where there was no tangled hair at all. They even called us during the appointment to say she was bleeding. Later, they claimed it was because she had an ear hematoma and that they had just trimmed it. That was a complete lie. We took her to the vet, who confirmed that the injury was a fresh cut from grooming and not from any medical condition. She did not have a hematoma. They hurt her, and then tried to cover it up. They also asked us to use an old sock to cover the wound, which felt incredibly unprofessional and careless. Since then, our puppy has been extremely uncomfortable. She keeps shaking her head, clearly bothered by her ears, and she has been very sad and withdrawn. This is the first and only time something like this has ever happened to her. I'm beyond disappointed. Not only should they have never charged us for this awful experience, but they should not be handling dogs, especially sensitive breeds like doodles, if they can't do so safely and honestly. I would NEVER recommend this place to anyone. Please protect your pet and take them somewhere else.

    Just moved to the area. Found this place and compared prices to other groomers in the area and…read morethought this was an amazing deal. Boy was i wrong. This is the FIRST time i have ever gotten my dog back from a groomer and his fur was worse than when he went in. There were 3 huge knots in his fur when i pick him up. I thought it was a wet spot from one of the other dogs, it being cage free i felt like that could have happened. I had to cut the knots out. This was VERY unprofessional. And when i tried to call about this.... guess what... NO ANSWER. I am personally holding this business accountable for the condition on my dog's fur. Not only did they leave knots in his fur, but i paid for a de-shed treatment. That was a joke too. He is not any better that when i dropped him off. Looks like just just played with him and put a bandana on him. As far as i can tell he hasn't even been cleaned. He doesn't even smell like a clean dog. Granted he does not stink normally.

She just hung up the phone on me when I found out that my dog's nails weren't being trimmed. He doesn't like his paws to be trimmed (vet was able to do with no medication after they saw how long his nails were). I was not told they weren't trimming his nails and they still charged me full grooming price. They were also saying that they cut his ear hairs yet my vet pulled very long ear hairs (he was groomed at Animal Artistry about a week ago). When I called to get a better understanding of what grooming entails - ear hair and nail trimming- and then said my dog's nails had not been trimmed and no one told me, I was told to speak to Joan. I calmly explained my concern about paying for his nails (I had to pay $15 @ the vet due to his nails being so long). She said sometimes my dog let's them do it and sometimes not. I explained no one ever told me and paid and had to pay again at Vet. Joan began to raise her voice and yell and told me maybe i shouldn't bring my dog back. She kept talking over me, said "love you" and hung up the phone on me. Joan is extremely rude and someone with a volatile attitude that should perhaps not be dealing with people, let alone vulnerable pets. If you see the writing on the wall and you love your pet... think long and hard before you bring/ leave your pet to Animal Artistry and have to deal with Joan!! Concerned former customer
