Super nice people...definitely a hole in the wall joint so it is not the cleanest place. But the steak sandwich is awesome!

We ate at Pinehurst BBQ later in the day. The barbecue was dry. Based on this experience we will be reluctant to eat here again.

After church today, my husband and I headed to Bliss Box in Port Arthur, and once again, they…read moredelivered excellence in both service and flavor. From the moment we walked in, we were greeted with warm smiles, and that same outstanding hospitality continued throughout our meal. We both ordered their succulent, thick, and tender pork chop--fried to crispy perfection and seasoned with their signature Bliss Box seasoning. Every bite was packed with mouthwatering goodness! This generous and delicious pork chop comes with a side of their "can't-be-beat" red beans, rice, and sausage. And let me tell you, these beans are slap-your-momma good--but please, don't! The service was fast, the food was down-home delicious, and the experience was nothing short of exceptional. If you're ever near Savannah and 19th Street in Port Arthur, do yourself a favor and stop by Bliss Box. Tell them Best Bites sent you--you won't regret it! Their food is Total Bliss!!

Two fillets and I could only eat one with the french fries, so you get plenty of food. If you have a chance, do not pass up the pistolettes they are more than amazing. The service was very friendly, almost down home friendly. They're frozen meat section is very impressive to get meat that you can't normally find in other places. They had alligator meat, many types of sausages, and I was shocked that they had whole rabbits for sale. If you're a cook like me finding rabbit is quite difficult.

I turned 29 today. Again. Huzzah! Let's go eat pizza…read more Now, pizza places are not hangout places in Southeast Texas. So there are not many around. I did find one in Bridge City, and this review is for Brick Oven Pizza. The pizzas are well done but quite small. 8, 10, and 14 inches wide, also calzones. Thin crust at the edge. The Hunny and I shared a Razorback, aka a meat lovers pizza, and the Girl had her own Chicken Ranch. "I've had pizza with ranch dressing on it, but I've never had a pizza with ranch dressing IN it." Translation: the tomato sauce was replaced by ranch dressing. I enjoyed the strong taste of the pepperoni & sausage. The food is good, but these should be treated as personal pizzas. Now for the less important things. Brick Oven Pizza is the prominent tenant in this small complex on the main highway, so it's easy to find. Smallish interior, half full at a prime time on Saturday. Menu is well organized. Hipster servers did their job and that's it. DARK interior, and before you think "romantic", remember the neon beer signs on the walls and sports on the TV and AC/DC on the sound system. Brick Oven Pizza appears to try to go opposite of the solid middle class vibe of Bridge City. So there you have it. A small gourmet pizza in a dining experience unique to most of Orange County TX. Be prepared.
