We loved this place. The rooms are so cute. Owners are super nice. It's about a 20 min drive to the Bavarian village and beautiful views of the Wenatchee River along the way. Both mornings we got a homemade breakfast served to our room and they were both yummy!! Sits on 23 acres and you can walk around through the paths in the meadow, some of the paths even lead to Nason creek. Our room had a jetted tub for two which was also a nice touch for relaxation. Got the sweetheart package and the roses were gorgeous, the chocolate covered strawberries were super yummy, and the wine was also really good!! For sure coming back here again!!

You can see just how drastic the dips are in the bed and this is with the comforter..

It was quiet and secluded and the privacy was nice. They left us a bottle of wine welcoming us in which was nice as well. What My fiancé and I didn't like was the fact that we have stayed in much nicer and accommodating places for far cheaper. The tub was nice but only half the jets work. The faucets on the tub were broken and just leaked and the plug in the tub was broken so it didn't hold a seal. The "door" to the toilet and shower didn't stay shut and would just swing open. Their food was far from as good as the reviews, their potatoes tasted as if they just dumped a load of salt on them and were soggy as if they just microwaved them. The worst thing about our stay, the bed.. I don't know about anyone else but when I go to a hotel I normally have an expectation that the bed will be almost as comfortable as my own at home. This was not the case. The bed was very dense and had dips in the mattress that made it very uncomfortable. I was left to only sleep on my back and I was unable to cuddle with my fiancé because of the way the bed was. They need updates and renovations to make the price seem more appropriate. The nice thing about the floor was that it was heated on the tile but only in front of the sink, not around the toilet or outside the shower. Also, it was practically impossible to get ahold of anyone, we called a ridiculous number of times but no one was ever available to answer. We signed up for a sleigh ride and they left us a note in the room for the time of the reservation and when to be there. But when we showed up for the sleigh ride we were asked to give them the card.. no where did it say "present this for your ticket" they had our reservation but made a huge deal about showing the piece of paper. The drive was a little over 30 minutes to get anywhere and the people at the sleigh ride were irritated we didn't present them the note and almost made us drive back to get it. Granted, Covid has ruined a lot of nice things but if this place wants to continue to stay in business they have a lot of things they need to work on. Starting with the 20+ year old used and abused beds..

We had our wedding here a little less than a month ago. The venue was absolutely stunning, the staff was really helpful and the day went unbelievably smoothly. PRR is not the cheapest wedding venue, but you get a lot of bang for your buck. They take care of so many things you wouldn't want to have to buy yourself, like the cutlery, platesglasses, tablecloths, you name it! The day of the wedding I literally didn't have to worry about anything, partly due to our amazing bridal party but also due to Patrick and his team. It was easily the best day of my life! If you're looking for a rustic, mountain wedding I would highly recommend this place.

WUNDERBAR!!... SIMPLY AMAZINGLY WONDERFUL !!! We recently…read morestayed here from Dec. 21 - 24, 2025 and what can I say.. Location: Perfectly situated away from the noise of town yet close enough to walk but you're better off driving to the town Leavenworth which is approximately 5 minutes away. Accommodations: Perfect Bed and Breakfast place with only 7 guest rooms (all the rooms are upstairs but one). The rooms are very quiet, no noise from foot traffic in the lobby or hallways, or young uns. The room decorations are exactly as you see them on their website. Large comfortable bed with warm fluffy pillows and comforters. We were very fortunate to stay at two different rooms during our stay. The Almorosen and Dornroschen with both very different and unique feel. Waking up every morning standing on the balcony with fresh coffee overseeing the snow on the valley and nearby mountains was magical. Breakfast: How do I describe it other than seeing every photos posted does not do it justice. It was very German theme and man it was so delicious !! (not the standard hotel continental breakfast either). The staff and host was on point every day ready to serve your needs. After walking around town there's always late treats (cake, pastry or cookies) waiting for you in the kitchen to have with a variety of tea or coffee. They also have an area with a giant fireplace and piano you can relax. There are Christmas trees everywhere (bedroom, eating area, relaxing lobby and stairway leading upstairs) fully decorated with lights. Every thing about the decorations, food served was very European (German). Service: First class service everyday. If you needed privacy or room cleaned you got it, always fresh thick towels with a warm bathrobe waiting in closet. The proprietor (Hayley) I hope was her name was super friendly and gave a little history about Abendblume and the town of Leavenworth. Staff was very helpful as previously mentioned. By far this was THE BEST Bed and Breakfast Place we have ever stayed. Every attention to details (inside the building and outside) was well thought out with a German theme. Hayley suggested we come back during late spring when the valley is blooming with beautiful colorful flowers, which we are already planning to do. Thank you very much Hayley and your staff. They were very friendly and helpful during our email communication and the website was very intuitive. After an sudden winter snowstorm of 6", our vehicle was stuck leaving us lost, cold and unsure how to get to Scandanavian Escapes. After a a quick call to Linny, Mr. Vern gladly retrieved us from our car (which was stuck in the snow!). After hearing that we had not eaten supper, Mr. Vern was nice enough to provide us with both a taxi number and a lift into town. The online pictures don't do the "Birchwood Tree House" justice, but it was our favorite room in the house. Although a smaller room, the decor was beautiful and cozy and we loved the bird theme. The private deck was a nice touch and the morning coffee + breakfast in bed truly made the tree house unforgettable- we can't recommend this room enough. Their hospitality was outstanding- we had such an incredible time at the Scandanavian Escapes that we're already planning our next stay at the Birchwood Tree House. Many thanks to Linny and Vern (and Ruby) for a very memorable weekend.

They have so many suggestions in terms of what to do around the area as well. The rooms were absolutely spotless and the views are gorgeous. It's also nice and peaceful. Our room had a step-in waterfall shower which was incredible. Great room is stocked with board games and brochures. Rooms come with smart TVs for unwinding. And oh my gosh the breakfast was absolutely filling, delicious and healthy to boot! Laurie was so accommodating with my vegetarian diet as well (she made me veggie sausage). Homemade blueberry streusel baked french toast, sausage, and fresh berry parfait. All in all a 5 star experience.

The room (Barlet) had a nice layout and the view from the room and balcony were spectacular. It was so comfy having a fireplace in the room and in the great room. Then upon coming back to the room in the evening, their orange cat graced us with his presence. We stayed in the Artic Fox. Beautifully decorated. Has a cozy fireplace. They have all the fixings in your room to make your own tea, hot chocolate, or cider. The only thing missing was some place to put my clothes: there was no dresser or set of drawers and only 5 hangers. I also do not believe this good for taller people...my husband barely fit in the area the toilet was in, he had to bend down to see himself in the mirror, and the shower was TIGHT. I appreciated the common area they have for guests that complete with books, a coffee machine, television, games, and a complete set of kitchen utensils if you decide to eat in or create a charcuterie board like we did one evening. Their breakfast was REALLY good. Although I did miss having an option for a morning orange juice. Another thing to consider: They took the liberty to enter your room whenever they wanted. They are really picky about not having the gas fireplace going to keep your room warm when you are not physically in the room. Without the fireplace on, our room was frigid. I felt like I was a teenager back at my parent's house.
