Location: Perfectly situated away from the noise of town yet close enough to walk but you're better off driving to the town Leavenworth which is approximately 5 minutes away. Accommodations: Perfect Bed and Breakfast place with only 7 guest rooms (all the rooms are upstairs but one). The rooms are very quiet, no noise from foot traffic in the lobby or hallways, or young uns. The room decorations are exactly as you see them on their website. Large comfortable bed with warm fluffy pillows and comforters. We were very fortunate to stay at two different rooms during our stay. The Almorosen and Dornroschen with both very different and unique feel. Waking up every morning standing on the balcony with fresh coffee overseeing the snow on the valley and nearby mountains was magical. Breakfast: How do I describe it other than seeing every photos posted does not do it justice. It was very German theme and man it was so delicious !! (not the standard hotel continental breakfast either). The staff and host was on point every day ready to serve your needs. After walking around town there's always late treats (cake, pastry or cookies) waiting for you in the kitchen to have with a variety of tea or coffee. They also have an area with a giant fireplace and piano you can relax. There are Christmas trees everywhere (bedroom, eating area, relaxing lobby and stairway leading upstairs) fully decorated with lights. Every thing about the decorations, food served was very European (German). Service: First class service everyday. If you needed privacy or room cleaned you got it, always fresh thick towels with a warm bathrobe waiting in closet. The proprietor (Hayley) I hope was her name was super friendly and gave a little history about Abendblume and the town of Leavenworth. Staff was very helpful as previously mentioned. By far this was THE BEST Bed and Breakfast Place we have ever stayed. Every attention to details (inside the building and outside) was well thought out with a German theme. Hayley suggested we come back during late spring when the valley is blooming with beautiful colorful flowers, which we are already planning to do. Thank you very much Hayley and your staff. Our room had a step-in waterfall shower which was incredible. Great room is stocked with board games and brochures. Rooms come with smart TVs for unwinding. The space is amazing with so many great features. The fireplace is on an auto timer for 1 hour, the bathroom has heated flooring & the tv pops up out of a stand at the end of the bed. The bed itself has been superb. I have loved the hospitality Brian & Rochelle have shown us. We have had breakfast daily for $15 a person & it has been delicious! The layout is spacious and beautifully decorated. Their property is a little slice of heaven. There are deer and tons of wildlife all around as well as breathtaking scenery right from their back windows. We fell in love with our room, not only was it very comfortable it was pristine and gave an air of romance. We loved the little gas furnace and the bed was super comfy. The owners Sandy and Don are literally the nicest people you could ever meet. Both are wonderful but Don is my absolute favorite. They truly end up feeling like family. They bent over backwards to make it special for us and even included champagne for our 15 year anniversary. Sandy offered a ton of ideas to do in town and outside of town. She nailed every recommendation. Sandy is not only a gourmet cook but she is an amazing baker too. Every morning our breakfast was unbelievably yummy and well plated. She baked extra special treats for us as well. We were delighted with our stay here and would highly recommend it to anyone. I've already told about 10 of my friends and family. The price is perfect for all the amenities and I would even have paid more. We can't wait to stay here again.

The hydrotherapy tub is amazing, clean room, like-new condition from decor to furniture to comfortable bed and new sheets. Huge king bed, two furnished chairs, and one love seat. Plenty of room for 2 people. You get a beautiful view of the mountains and Commercial Street. Large screen TV had access to Amazon Prime, NetFlix, and cable stations. Decent size fridge with Keurig, and bar sink. Spacious bathroom with shower, tub, two sinks, fan and heater. The placement of the tub is genius, where you can open the doors to watch the TV in the bedroom. Daily housekeeping like a hotel. The only disappointment is that the outdoor heated soaker tub was out of service. I wish they told us prior to checking in. Very secure place with dedicated covered parking. Mike did a great job plowing the road so often that the roads stayed safe to go into town the next day even after a foot of snowfall overnight! The house was super comfortable and cozy. We felt right at home. Our room was spacious and clean and the bed was super comfortable. Loved that everything was within walking distance. Bonnie is a great cook and she made some really great breakfasts while we were there. This was the first time I've ever stayed at a bed and breakfast and it was an amazing experience. I highly recommend Hause Chikamin to anyone coming into town. We plan to come back during the warmer months and booking with Bonnie and Brian again.
