Great course, nice people in the pro-shop. We played the front 9 and it was very scenic.

Played a tournament here. Course is setup for Bushnell University as their home course. Course was setup very well and tee boxes were great. Just a fluke last time. Will play again for sure. Greens are VERY quick but respond well to the ball. read more

The front 9 is BRUTAL, severe elevation changes and fairly tight fairways. The back 9 gives some rest and is flat. My biggest issue with this course is simply the fact, several of the greens are in such disrepair that they have had to fill this greens in several places with sand. This causes some severe issues if you are unfortunate to not hit over it or if you have to put along it. Not something you would expect when you are paying that kind of cash for a round of golf. The reason for the third star is simply the fact that the bar is fully stocked and the food is good. Otherwise this would have been lower if the food and bar were not as good as it was. I would also like to see the yardage markers at the holes. It wasn't very obvious where the yardage markers were. This makes it a bit more difficult to keep a descent pace of play when you are always trying to figure out yardages. read more

Nice golf course in the woods right outside Springfield. Pine Ridge has some pretty good views and a great bar staff with very reasonable prices for the round of golf and round of drinks! While the greens were a little rough and patchy, the majority of grass looked great and had some amazing views. Hole 3 is a nice tee off into a valley and was my favorite of the day. We got some kielbasa's and nachos later at the bar and drinks too. The nachos were loaded with toppings and were delicious. The kielbasa was also really good and kept me full after the turn to the back 9. Overall a solid course and would come back next time in town! read more

I came here expecting a nice course (it was decent) although the course was decent the marshalls and staff were absolutely horrendous, rude, and unprofessional they definitely have favorites in their clientele we was left feeling like we were the odd ones out (even though we was shooting par) definitely don't go here unless you want to support this horrible establishment I would recommend emerald valley golf club! This is a nice course. Walking the front 9 will get your heart pumping. Played last week(hadn't been out since summer) and I was surprised how full the grass was. It was in nice shape. Happy they are maintaining as well as they are. I'd play here over EV. read more

Excellent golf course right outside of Springfield. Great price for a round of golf. The fairways and greens are in excellent condition. Even though you have to deal with elevation changes and the fact that this is a tough course to play on, I appreciate that challenge because I'm still not a great golfer. The bar and grill here are great too, so I recommend having a lunch or dinner after a round of golf. read more

This place really wants to be members only course. The staff and members treat the public like garbage. Apparently a 4 hour round is too slow. You'll get hit into even before clearing the greens without even a whisper of "fore." We played here once and will be our last. The course is tight and on many holes you're hitting into other fairways and groups. We had a group of members hit into us on two separate occasions plus another two occasions by another group. They were trying to instigate a fight because they thought we were playing slow. The reality is the marshal said our pace was good and that the members were just anxious. We never received a warning for slow play. When we reacted after getting hit into, we were threatened to fight by the group of members. And when we complained to the Marshall they blew us off saying they're members and the heat makes people anxious . We had to all be separated in the parking lot. Not a good look for the course snd members. I've never experienced such hostility while golfing. Again, from "members". Just low class. We won't be returning. They can keep their wannabe "members" course in the country to themselves. read more

I was looking forward to golfing here, but after my husband and 3 others played there two Sundays ago (who are members at Eugene Country Club plus two other private courses in Utah), they told me about the bad and embarrassing behavior of the members and marshals. The first 9, a group of public players hit into them, without an apology or a courteous "fore". Their group let another group of members play through included a Marshal who was not working that day and then They hit into my husband's group while they hadn't cleared the greens on the back 9 even though their pace was good. They also did not apologize and were antagonizing. Once my husband's group flagged the The Marshal at the 18th hole to let him know what time they started and the marshal confirmed they were playing at perfect pace (they played for 4 hours), he tried downplaying the issue. The group of members mad dogged their group in the parking lot and even yelled "don't start something you can't finish" after the 4th time they hit into my mother in law and it landed at her feet on the green. This is unacceptable behavior at any course and for the marshals and course to side with belligerent members is not going to be well for them in the long run if they want to also keep this course partially public. Very disappointed to hear this. read more

I have been playing here since 2009. The course has never been in better shape than it is this year. With golf being about the only sport you can play in 2020, you would expect courses to be pretty beat up; not this one. They have really improved the drainage and the greens are pristine (as of 11/9). read more

Was hopeful that the new ownership had made good progress but I was disappointed. Cost was fair and pro shop good. They have made some improvements to the practice facilities as well. Greens were in poor shape (May 5). When we made the turn, the pro shop placed a slow foursome out in front of us. No marshal to manage such issues (Sunday afternoon). The worst issue is with the restuarant. Food was good but service really slow. In addition, I have never been to a golf course anywhere that I could not order and take a bloody mary or tap beer onto the course! read more

This place is magnificent! Come out here to golf or just to drink in your buddy's cart and enjoy the views. Not only are the fairways and greens in great shape, but there is plenty of nature and wildlife to oogle at too. If you want to spend a great afternoon hanging out, come here! read more

We live nearby-- we're members and hubby goes often for both golf and lunches/libations in the lounge. They have a daily special, serving up a small variety of sandwiches, burgers etc. The bar offerings are standard, but they do try to mix up a decent drink. The restaurant/bar is open to the public, so feel free to stop in and take a look around. All the help-- all the way around-- is excellent. They also have a Pro Shop w a very good selection of clubs, Nike golf shoes, Nike and Oregon Duck clothing, high quality (name brand) sunglasses and lots of accessories, among other offerings that you might need for a day of golf. The greens are quite nice and the views are gorgeous... especially from the deck outside the lounge!!! read more

It was a fun course and in good shape but the greens were not consistent slow, fast and soft (as in squishy). The practice putting greens were great but not like the ones on the course. People here have a good attitude and helpful. Overall it's a good place to go and play with friends and have a good time. read more

The course was in alright condition and the views were incredible, however the marshal treated us like absolute garbage. Yeah I get it we were a big group of outsiders, but no need to be rude. We were playing at a decent pace and being respectful to other golfers. If someone caught up to us we would simply let them play through, not a problem. The Marshall hounded us down and picked at every little thing we did, first we were too close to the green with the carts. Then we were going to fast and catching up to other golfers. Then we were going to slow and people were catching up to us. Then he proceeded to follow us around all day watching every move we made at each hole. Then he made it a point to go to the other golfers and be all friendly and happy. Finally it was the last straw he showed up told us "People are catching up to you I'm going to have to split you up." We told him we have no problem with letting them play through but he disrespectfully declined. Keep in mind our whole group was already angry at the Marshall because he stopped us in the middle of hitting about 4 other times. We exchanged some words. When we told him we were leaving before things escalate, he tried playing the nice guy like he didn't do nothing to us. We were definitely leaving after that and then he told us on the way out "YOUR LOSS!" Then things really got heated. There is no point to be so unprofessional. We left. This course tries so hard to be member only and DOES NOT like outsiders. If you're from anywhere outside the housing district that this is in do not go unless your prepared to get treated like and outcast and feel unwelcomed. If you want to be a member only course so bad then make it happen stop wasting peoples time and money. read more

We have been out to this facility several times recently. The course has improved dramatically since last year and continues to do so. The staff is always friendly, professional and accommodating. The new restaurant menu is great and the food has been delicious. We will continue to visit frequently. read more

What a disappointing experience!!! Regardless of our pace of play being spot on, we were hit into 3 times in 18 holes!! What makes the matter worse, it was by members and one of them being a marshal. These are people who should be protecting the reputation of the course and the decorum game. The third time we were hit to was on a par 3 and we had not cleared the green. The attitude of the course official was to protect there member and told us it was due to the heat. We were visiting from out of state and are members of two golf clubs and our members protect the members and the public from arrogant and discourteous people that play our courses. This place is a little to territorial and anti non-members for us. Perhaps they should be a hilly billy private course and keep out the unwanted civilized player out. With that said, the course is designed way too tight for safe play and the full size pick-up truck driving down through the middle of the course with no regard for players was hazard I wasn't expecting. read more

Beautiful views and great staff. Justin the golf pro is very personable and has a great attitude. You can tell they are tirelessly working on updating and improving the course and facility. Even if you aren't a golfer and are just tagging along with someone who is playing the views alone are worth it. The course has a true Pacific Northwest feel and is definitely a hidden gem. read more

Fun course. Front 9 is up and down hills with large hidden greens. Back 9 is mostly flat with small greens. Watch out for #8 Also in great shape. read more

Nice course and reasonably priced. Definitely a shot makers course. Fairways are a little tight, and the doglegs made it a little tougher. The greens were in really good shape when I played, other than one or two which were still manageable. Elevation changes provide great views, and they allowed my wife to ride with me at no cost, even though she wasn't playing. Thanks again to Brandon Duke for the invite. Making this review to correct the previous rating of 5 stars for the first visitors as me and whom not known Eugene area. As long as for golf, it is just for fun to neighbers who live around there. The couses are well designed in traditional way with small greens, however, hard to find out any well cut and raised grasses except green area. The courses should change old grasses although the members and club are very kind and good care of fairway by no access of cart. read more

An excellent fun track for the price. Pace of play was outstanding, played first 18 in 3:30, grabbed lunch, and played another 18 in 3:00. Super friendly shop staff. Ask for Nick especially. We'll definitely be back. read more
