The greens and fairways were in great shape. The people in the pro shop were nice and helpful. The two hiccups are the tee boxes, they are a little run down and the golf carts coming off of hole 11 my cart died and they had to come get me another one but other than that I'm definitely competing back to play here again.

The goose poop on the greens are nasty, the noise from the highway is loud, the pace of play is slow and there are homeless people picking cans out of the trash cans on the course. The course is only 30 minutes from our house so we would like to add this to our rotation of courses we play. However, I would rather drive an hour plus and enjoy my experience from the condition of the course and a decent staff than play here ever again.

Lots of trees here--be prepared to have to punch out of trouble; you might even find yourself needing to hit a punch shot after finding the fairway, as some holes have trees growing over the edge of the fairway. Trees aside, there are a couple of water hazards and a fair amount of bunkers that can hurt your score if you aren't careful. Overall, I think this is a pretty solid course. What some of the other reviews have mentioned about the staff seem to be true. While the first employee I met, a college student at UO, was friendly, the person working the front desk seemed stand-off-ish and didn't seem thrilled that I was playing that day. Took some clubs out to demo area. Decided on clubs. Pick out shoes and bag inside. I ask my helper can I get any type of deal if a buy all right now. Was told big NO. Not politely. Just NO . Keep in mind this was a big purchase. So I asked this question. I picked up a sleeve of balls. " I will buy all right now if you throw in this sleeve of balls" My helper whom seemed upset for me to ask for a tiny discount for spending close to 2k came back and said NO. I WALKED OUT, slowly. I thought no way they let me leave. They did. I had to borrow my mom's clubs for tournament.

Unfortunately I sucked this day, but that is certainly not the fault of this course. It was all me!! This is a nice challenging course. I played the back nine after work with some co-workers. You can very easily leave your woods in your bag and play irons and most often wedges for many of the holes. For those of us who need work on that part of their game, of which I certainly do, it was a good challenge. No bombs away here, you will need to actually shape your shots. Several dog leg lefts and right will prevent you from just trying to blast your way to the green. The twilight price is very affordable, $16 for nine or $24 for 18 you can work your day and still get some good golf in. I thought about giving a horrible review so there would be less people coming here to get their golf, but that just wouldn't be fair for this great little course.

The fairways were looking…read morepretty parched in August (as was most of Oregon), and it looks like the course was dealing with animal droppings all over the fairways of some sort (I'm guessing elk)--so be careful what you are swinging into. Still, the course seemed like it was being looked after. The views of the outlying area are beautiful. There are some long and challenging holes here with interesting water hazards. I do think the course should offer discounts to students affiliated with the University of Oregon, much likes courses down the road in Eugene do. It seems like this is a popular golf spot for the locals, but the vibe is very friendly for visitors as well. If you're in the area, it's definitely worth a visit.

We stayed at the RV Park and played on Saturday. My wife…read moreand I wanted to visit this place for the last couple years. We showed up at 7-730 Friday night. Quick easy check-in. The RV park was 1/2 to 2/3rds full. Unfortunately we were given the spot that was closest to the road. It was loud with little grass, and stuff falling outta the tree onto our car. Again, there were a lot of other spots that were empty. I would have complained but we didn't bring the dogs on this trip. I would not have wanted to take the chance of one of the dogs running out into the road or getting tangled up in the brush. Now on to the golf course. We paid for unlimited golf ..... the guy Steve at the counter laughed when I suggested to walk onto the golf course. We had to make a tee-time a couple hours away. So we went back to our motor home and waited. We went to the first hole and met up with the other pair we were playing with. Then another guy who was walking the course and a single player had the same start time (double booked) offered to let him go first so we didn't feel pushed. He declined ( I knew better ) should have made him. By hole 3 he was calling and complaining to Steve! That we were taking to long. Steve showed up on his mighty Steed (golf cart) and complained that we were taking to long and needed to speed up and skip two holes .... I was so pi$$ed off my wife and I left. You paired us up with slow players ..... get over yourself Steve, dude you're not a PRO. Whew, let me calm down so I can finish my story. We went back that evening at 6pm. I told my story to a very nice guy named Mark. Let's give Mark a hand. He's the only reason my wife and I stayed and played. Mark, these three stars are yours. As you can tell, I would not have given Steve even one star. Thank you for a wonderful evening of golf.
