He was able to find the issue within 10 minutes and sealed off the area in 20 min. He found there were other areas on our roof that could use some preventative care. He later supplied a reasonable quote and offered to come back the following morning. We had other options but knew we would go with him. The job was finished the next day in about an hr. Leak is gone, and roof is further reinforced. The weather this week in particular has been a cold, windy, and wet one. There was even a light dusting of snow the night before Victor came to work on our roof. We appreciated his proactiveness, and friendly demeanor in our situation. The flippers also didn't prep the siding properly so paint was bubbling/peeling/etc. We got many quotes, and about half said to replace the siding. We selected Prestige due to the knowledge and price. I did extensive research on them to validate that they do a good job, and went to see a job they had in progress to verify their workmanship. We worked with them to determine schedule, paint type, siding type, underlayment type, and water damage repair options/cost. They were very flexible with options and rightly adhered to workmanship which guaranteed warranty (vs my bad internet research suggestions on how to fix things). I'm very happy with their work and really appreciate the work they did. I would strongly recommend getting multiple quotes just so you're educated on the method for fixing problems and the different types of materials and methods that people are using out there, then you're more capable of discussing fixes/options with the contractor that you select.

I would NEVER want to work with people that have the complete lack of ethics and integrity these people do. We've used them before--five years ago for our roof--and they've been great both times. The crew is super skilled, thorough, and clearly takes pride in their work. They were friendly, respectful, and listened carefully to what we wanted. Overall, they're very professional. This winter was pretty rough--cold, wet weather--and they still worked hard through it, even around the holidays, to get everything done on time. The siding looks fantastic, and even though it's a pricey material, we feel like we got great value for what we paid. After they finished, we felt really good about the whole experience. I had a roof and exterior project with this company. Long story short, faulty roof install,…read morespecifically around the flashing of the chimney that the owner never fixed or paid for. Leaks observed in the following winter season after install that were never repaired or resolved. Even though it was under warranty in the contract. We also had issues with their exterior painting subcontractor who was very hostile towards our concerns of painting in the winter (cold temps and rain- we wanted to wait until spring. We insisted which drove him into a fit). The bigger issue was with the roof leak however and after contacting the Viktor the owner he offered to pay for the repairs (We had to hire another roofing company to come and fix, and also hire a mold mitigation company to remove mold). He never paid after over many months of notice. These problems are often resolved in legal mitigation with a contractors bonding company, however we discovered he had been recently sued by someone else for over $16k which drained their bond. Thankfully the other roofing company did a solid job of fixing the leak issues and mold mitigation company also did a perfect job removing mold so there is happy ending to the roof. However, do your homework on Washington labor and industries website https://secure.lni.wa.gov/ before hiring this company, or for any contractor for that matter. As of now their license is suspended, but yet they still advertise. Be careful out there!

We went through him for exterior paint as well, which he insisted on using Sherwin Williams for, as they are considered the best quality. In the process of having our home looked over to see what projects we could afford to do, we had an unpleasant surprise in finding out the previous home owners...who replaced the roof themselves...laid the roof shingles incorrectly and therefore we had swelling and imminent failure. I received quotes from four exterior siding companies, as well as six roofing companies. I could have gone with two separate companies but Viktor won my business for two reasons. He was competitive with the siding and roofing companies I was seriously considering and he was very communicative. He answered so many questions. We have never had major home repairs done. We both had family and friends pepper us with horror stories of companies giving them a reasonable price and then tacking on thousands in charges at the end. I probably drove him a little nutty with all my concerns before we agreed to sign the contract. Then, after we signed, we added on work we hadn't realized needed to be done as well. For one, I thought the rubber trim wood around garage doors was part of the siding. It is not. Ours was in need of replacement. Our exterior outlets were outdated and out of code, as they were original to the house...twenty-five years ago. We asked for our bathroom exhaust fans to be replaced, which were accessed via the attic and that led to finding out our master bath vent was never even hooked up...just a fan box buried in insulation. That answered why we kept having motors burn out every two to three years. There was trim replacement which was unplanned for as well. There were a couple of delays, but Viktor was always responsive and reassuring when those happened and the work was not only done but done so well I've had multiple people, in the neighborhood, comment on the quality of the final job. His employees are friendly and patient with my curious George mind...asking about every little thing, as I just never stop asking how things work. He even went above and beyond. I ordered a new sliding patio door from a door company he works with all the time and when they were not communicative, Viktor followed up with them to find out what was going on. The additional charges for the work added after contract signing was very reasonable. I am fully confident in my recommendation of Viktor and his team. They are perfectionists, professional, patient, communicative, and friendly. I am very happy I chose to give Provision Remodeling my business and would do so again.

Immediately thereafter, this business indicated that additional measurements would be necessary, that work could not begin before 10/3/19 and that payment by check or credit card bearing a "convenience fee" of 2.5% was immediately payable. I replied that I would pay the installer making the additional measurements a cash payment on the day he arrived at my home since I didn't have personal checks and since I didn't want to pay a convenience fee. In reply to this, the operations manager wrote to me saying, "It appears that we are not the company for you so we are asking you to find another company to complete the job." There is not "another company," I insisted that the business not walk off the job and I presented a cashier's check for 50% down that was refused when I visited the office that same afternoon

There were some highs and lows in my experience with KVN, but with several months behind me to give…read moreme perspective, I believe I can write a review that will be helpful and fair. First are the things I did wrong: 1. I didn't get any other bids so I spent the entire project wondering if I was paying too much. 2. I didn't understand KVN is a contractor only - the trucks that come out to do the work are going to have different company names on them. That information is clearly stated in the contract but, related to #1, I didn't read the contract closely and missed it. So I spent most of the project wondering how much more I was paying to have someone act as a go-between with these other companies. 3. Because of #1 and #2, throughout the weeks it took to remove old siding, put up new siding, put up the gutters, and paint the house I was always on edge and quick to anger when something went wrong. Notable missteps by KVN: 1. There was some miscommunication about a small part of the house that they considered porch and I considered house. When we realized this, first day, I could see their position and asked how much it would cost to add that part. I had three different people tell me they'd get back to me with a cost - they never did. 2. Whoever they used for gutters had to take them down and install new ones twice - it was the third install that finally worked. KVN didn't catch the first errors (but maybe they would have if we hadn't checked first) but they did tell them to redo the 2nd install before we were even told it was done. 3. The painter painted the windows shut. We didn't know that until after everything was signed and paid, so we just fixed it ourselves. But the contractor is responsible for the work of the subs - so I'll call this their mistake. What KVN did right was they seemed to genuinely want me to be a happy customer. I didn't realize how much that mattered until a neighbor was having some work done and I saw first-hand the difference between having a contractor who is hoping to leave the customer happy (KVN) vs. one who just wants to get paid (the neighbor's). Made me think I was ready to write a review, I hope it was fair.
