Then they shut down for like a week or so I guess and we happened to be there for the gram reopening. Ordered the usual food. First the staff clearly didn't know how to code it in. Then what happened next boggles the mind. They (the staff) were shocked by the new prices - because they were like double what they had been just days before! Then customer after customer got sticker shock as people who had been coming here for years (in our case decades) got throttled by the new cost. Clearly they are trying to court the nyc trendy crowd and have abandoned their Vernon faithful. It's a shame really. I for one will never be back and opt instead for the 'place by the tracks' who still know where their true business base is - with the locals who come by all the time
