I told him many people have an overbite and it is not giving me any issue and I thought it was absurd to recommend that. Mind you I have an over bite but otherwise a decently nice smile. I believe he had an overbite too. I immediately was recoiling and he noticed. He then recommended a deep cleaning ( which I do need) but I was so off put I wasn't going to take any recommendations from this whack job. When I would not agree to anything he insisted and started rubbing my shoulder. Sooooo creepy. Then the hygienist wanted to do the deep cleaned my that day but I declined. Then she reluctantly cleaned my teeth while complaining and barely did anything! Also told me that if I did do the deep cleaning that day it wouldn't have been covered by my insurance. How does this make any sense?! I just went to a different dentist in Auburn and got a quote for the deep cleaning that is over half as much as what Fore for would have charged. These people are a scam and are terrible! Wouldn't recommend to an enemy.

I disagreed with the other dentist so I made an appointment with Dr Smith to get a second opinion. Final outcome, my teeth are in good shape, no gum disease and only minor work is necessary. The office staff was wonderful and the hygienist was excellent. After scheduling but before my appointment I was sent a reminder and paperwork to complete prior to my appointment. I was given an estimate for the amount of time necessary for each appointment which was right on. My wait time was minimal and everyone on staff was very pleasant and kind. I can't say enough good things, Dr Smith, his hygienist and staff are great, I've found my new dentist.

All I need was a teeth cleaning but they "needed" different whole mouth X-rays, They weren't happy with the last ones I had from the other dentist which were relatively recent. After the exam with Dr. Dewitter, she told me I needed deep cleaning in the back of all four quadrants and then it was gonna be $250 per quadrant and would take about 45 minutes per quadrant, so I needed 4 appointments . I made the appointment for the first cleaning although I didn't believe my teeth were that bad. A hygienist laid me flat in the exam table for the cleaning. I explained to her that I cannot lay down flat because I get back spasms and have had several back injuries she didn't care. She did a " deep cleaning" my upper left quadrant, which kept me in the chair for only 11 minutes. She said she only did two teeth, the others were fine. . But I was having severe back pain the entire time because she refused to elevate the head of the exam. (My back was out for 6 days.) I Asked just for a regular cleaning where I could be sitting in a more upright position they said they had to ask the doctor and they would call me back. I have called them 11 times and left 9 text messages,. They responded to one of my texts, Once, telling me the office manager would call me. That was in late November. I'm still waiting for a regular cleaning and no one's calling me back. I would highly recommend you avoid this practice. They are uncaring. Unresponsive and apparently money hungry. The clearly try to upsell you. I can tell you for sure, because I went to another office and my teeth were in great condition and I did NOT need the deep cleaning. Saved the $750 additional "cleaning". I spoke with my step-daughter who is a hygienist in Florida, she confirmed that the flat positioning is for the comfort of the hygienist. Horrible, if I could give it no stars, that would be perfect.

I have a pretty deep phobia of the dentist from major dental trauma as a kid. I have a pattern of…read morenot going for years when I have to change dentists. After many many months of research and putting it off I finally called Dr. Falvey's office. From start to finish it was the best dental experience I have every had. Everyone was extremely kind, calm and patient, including the receptionist, the hygienist and Dr. Falvey. There was no judgement and lots of listening and understanding of how my phobia developed. Michelle, the hygienist was gentle, regularly checked in with me and told me I could use nitrous if needed. I never actually needed it! Dr. Falvey came up with a treatment plan that incorporated my phobia and changing my pattern of going from deep cleaning to deep cleaning. The receptionist encouraged me on the way in for having made it to the appointment and on the way out for making my next one. The first visit with x-rays was pricey but for me its worth the extra cost to actually go, have a positive experience and avoid more expensive problems later. Follow up visit prices seem pretty in-line with other dentists. If you are fearful of the dentist this is the place for you.
