The interior is not classy or "upscale," but it is clean, comfortable and welcoming. It's a seat-yourself kind of place, so it was a moment before we were handed menus and asked for drink orders. Then it was a rather lengthy wait before our orders were taken. However, it didn't take that long for the food to arrive and, I will say this, it was definitely worth the wait. I ordered the Crispy Dill Chicken Sandwich with tater tots. It arrived piping hot and oh-so-good. The fried chicken sandwich was indeed crispy, VERY flavorful with three crisp pickle slices in there. The chicken itself tasted like it was brined in pickle juice as well. If you like pickles, you'll love this sandwich. It was excellent! The tater tots .... well, how can you screw that up?? They were hot, tasty and plentiful. Now, while initially a little slow, the service is friendly and attentive. My iced tea was refilled without even getting halfway down. Prices were reasonable. We look forward to stopping again when we pass through Republic (and skip the local hustle).

We were greeted with a warm friendly server and a choice of indoor or outdoor seating. We chose to sit on the patio and happy we did - it was a beautiful day, good for people watching and the birds were singing their tune. After reviewing the menu we put in our order. We all got some variation of Eggs Benedict - add avocado or bacon. We each had a different drink. I had the bloody Mary and found it to be one of the best I've ever had!! Friends had a long island and a wine spritzer. They each enjoyed the libations!! The eggs were perfectly cooked and the homemade hollandaise sauce was KILLER!!! Another person waiting tables came by to check on us. When we replied how much we were enjoying our meal, he said "well then, you need to come back on Monday. Our chef makes all the desserts and they are simply the best. We offer a sinful chocolate cake and a cream brulee cheesecake that will knock your socks off." I was convinced in that moment that I needed this cheesecake so we ordered 2 to-go. It did, in fact, knock my socks off!!!! I was very impressed with this beautiful little restaurant, their service was remarkable and the atmosphere was so inviting. Whatever you do...come here and eat, drink, and be merry!! One last comment: a few days later we were visiting the brewery next door and ordered the Cowboy Nachos (smothered fries)...OMG, so good (recommend a side of their homemade ranch - you're welcome)!!!

What a gem. I've been by here dozens of times and never stopped. I wish I hadn't passed it by…read more This is an old school type diner that is clean and tidy. The staff were all super friendly and the waitress knew every local by name and greeted them all. She was just friendly to me and brought coffee in a Harley mug as she saw me pull in on mine. This is definitely biker friendly with a nicely paved lot. The Mickie omelette was outstanding and the smaller version was just right for me. The toast they use is some of the best I've ever had. It feels weird to give a shout out to wheat bread, but it's deserved. This will be a must stop for future trips through the area. While it may look a little tired on the outside, what happens inside is well worth the stop.

They just serve breakfast and close at noon. The parking lot, and inside dining area, is usually quite busy. It's bright, it's clean and now under new owners. I ordered the blueberry pancakes with the "German sausage." The Grouch took my order, all the while displaying UNgrouch-like qualities. She was cordial, prompt ... very pleasant; all the things you would look for in quality service. My breakfast came quickly. The pancakes were delicious; loaded with plump blueberries. The sausage was somewhat disappointing. As I'm finding out up here in the PNW, "sausage" more than likely means a fat, smoked hot dog. At least, that's been my experience whenever I order it ... in quite a few places now. Nevertheless, it was tasty and juicy and went well with the pancakes. And, FYI, the coffee is good too. Prices are very reasonable. I'm sure Little Gallea will be around a lot longer with the new crew. I'm hoping they'll expand to accommodate evening dining someday soon. Until then, I'll keep enjoying the breakfasts ... with bacon next time.
