We had so many ideas and too many estimates, but one company definitely stood out from the rest, and that was Oceans Remodeling. The owner, Leon, was so patient with us! Especially me! My husband and I took a little while to make some design decisions. Leon was such a pleasure to work with, always so honest about some of the ideas we had, even if he didn't think it would work, he would let us know. Well, let me tell you, our finished results of the pool are Incredible!! We are the envy of our neighborhood now and rightfully so! I can't wait for our family from up north to come visit and enjoy our outdoor BBQ. We have now signed on to get our driveway/walkway done. Definitely give Oceans a call. We hired Paradise Pool in October 2015 and signed a contract with them. Our pool construction began March 16, 2016. Paradise Pool subcontracted JF Pools and Spas to begin the project. After many hurdles with Paradise Pools it was such a different experience dealing with JF Pools and Spas. Just to give one example. Paradise Pools took bad measurements and when excavation was about to begin JF caught the mistake. Instead of turning away from the project, they immediately offered us several alternatives. What could have been days or weeks of delays JF solved in a matter of minutes. They work hard and know what they're doing. These guys are truly amazing. In fact when I asked him to please wear one I was told by him that his corporate office does not require Managers to wear a mask. I am a senior citizen and need to be careful at all times. Not only does he not wear a mask but he does not enforce anyone entering the store to wear a mask either. In addition he has a speech impairment so he spits when talking. It is a nightmare and I will not be going back to that store and will be sure to let my neighbors and friends know about this situation. My experience with Superb Pools was an absolute nightmare. My pool was left in worst condition than…read morethey found it in. Avoid at all costs!! We moved into a new home that had a saltwater pool and wanted some work done, as well as find a company for regular cleanings. We wanted to have the pool light replaced, as well as have the tiles acid washed and the surrounding brick pavers cleaned. I was given a quote on Tuesday, and told that if I could approve and pay deposit by Wednesday, the work could be completed that week. We went ahead and approved the quote, as well as paid the 50% deposit. Thursday morning the work began on schedule and things appeared to be going well. We were told the pool needed to be drained below the light, but they drained the entire pool instead. It was initially not a big deal, but when they called and asked us to approve additional work since the pool was already drained, I should have realized then how this company does business. Thursday evening I received a text saying the pool was being filled overnight, and to give them an update in the morning so they could come back and finish up. I sent a text with a picture around 9:00 am. By about 1:00 pm when I had not received any response, I called and texted again. No response again. Finally someone responded and said they would be there by 3:00 pm. I received a call at 3:00 pm stating they were picking up the sealant and on their way. Someone arrived around 3:45 pm and put several bags of salt and chemicals into our pool. I could immediately tell that it was WAY too much salt, as it created a rim around the entire pool. The individual left about 10 minutes later with our pool looking absolutely terrible... lots of dirt and debris, a salty rim formed all around the pool, and the machine beeping saying there was way too much salt. I assumed they were coming back and would not leave their customers' pool like this over the weekend. Especially when they said the work would be done this week! After about an hour, I reached out with pictures and videos asking when this was going to be corrected. I sent numerous texts, phone calls, and emails over a two hour period. Finally someone responded and told me that this was completely normal and that the salty rim would be filtered out, and that the rest of the work would be done the following week! Keep in mind the machine was telling me our pool had twice the safe limit. I'm not sure whether they just do not know how to service a saltwater pool, or if they are just that negligent, but this company should not be trusted in your home. They also had the audacity to send me a bill for work that I had to hire another company to come out and fix/ complete. Our new company was APPALLED at the condition our pool was left in and has encouraged us to report them to the State. Save yourself the headache and avoid this company at all costs.
