All these good reviews are fake! Do not use this dealership, they cause damages while assessing vehicles, damaged the bumper on my 2023 dodge challenger, denied damages, than refused an estimate from a body shop. Offered 17000 for trade, now I'm working with a dealer offering 24000 trade on it. My mother went today to try and trade her mint, 2021 ford bronco sport, warranty just expired, vehicle has no problems per their shop which has been taken there religiously, due to warranty, they offered her 16k for a vehicle that has 55k miles on it. They have turned into nothing but scam artists. Avoid this dealer at all costs, you'll be screwed on a trade, after they damage your car! read more

Have used pilsons many times in the past, went in today to see about trading in my challenger for a bronco, because pilsons saying "if it's pilsons it's possible" got low balled on a trade, told I couldn't get the bronco with no credit ran because the payoff was too expensive. Then to top it off, the guy who assessed my challenger(Pilson fords own general manager) parked the challenger on a parking block(any challenger sits to low to go over these) so the bumper dragged on and off the parking block, now the bumber is hanging underneath the car! So now I have to go to a body shop to see what kind of damage they caused, and to have it repaired by a body shop, is going to cause the value of my challenger to go down anymore, making my car basically impossible to trade in anywhere!!!!!! Do not recommend, will never be back after this. No deal made, and DAMAGED my car to boot. Thanks for that HORRENDOUS experience today.... This review will be left on any and all applications I can find for reviews. Do not use this dealer. As they may damage your car assessing it. I think Pilson needs to fully pay off my car, and get me into something else since they damaged my car, which has also lowered its value. Update last week, a week after this incident the general manager reached out, said they owed me an apology on a voicemail, wanted to see damage in an email. I replied to email last week, here we are, 5 days later, and no response back. Pilsons really isn't worried when they cause damage to your car, or just tell you the can't work out a deal for you. Again, DONT USE THIS DEALER. After probably 20 purchases with this dealer, it's rough to say, but they don't care about customers or trades anymore. Received a call from Drew, basically just an apology, and they want their body shop to fix any damage, while trying to tell me the challenger didn't touch the parking block. Once again, do not use this dealer! Trying to say they didn't damage my Challenger! Stay far far far away from this place!!!! They should be paying for repairs, at a body shop I trust, and paying for depreciation due to the damage. Or fully pay the car off and get me into something else. read more

I found a Toyota Tundra they had listed online and contacted them about it. I spoke with Logan several times about the truck. I'm not from Mattoon and would have to make a 7 hour drive to look at and hopefully purchase the truck. I let Logan know this and he even looked up how far away I was and how long the drive would be. We worked out a final price and all the details as long as the truck was as good of condition that he said it was. I asked for additional pictures as far as any dents, dings, scuffs and under the truck. He told me the truck was garage kept, very clean, "in immaculate condition". I made the 7 hour drive after putting a down payment down and as soon as I walked up to it I could see that every body panel on it had a dent or a scuff. At closer inspection I could tell the passenger side bedside had a large dent repaired and had been been repainted. It was very easy to see all this. Logan didn't disclose any of this to me. After all that they said they could take off $250.00. That's not good enough for a truck that's supposed to have never had an accident and was not in the shape they said it was. Wasted 14 hours of my time and not counting the traveling expenses. They are very dishonest And I would never buy anything from them. read more

pilson sold me a 2017 Ford Explorer with an oil leak in March I gave them 4 chances to fix it. Then I went to Ford who sent me to another dealership to fix it. I still have an oil leak. Its been 7 mos I cant trust their mechanics, Ford says my car doesnt fall under Lemon Law even though pilson had my car back in their shop less tham 24 hrs after I bought it. what was supposed to be my NEW (1st second owner car only 3 yrs old) has been the worst experience I've ever had. Not only would I not recommend pilson, I'm not sure I will ever even drive a Ford again after this. I wouldnt even give them 1 star if i didnt have too. read more

I bought a SUV in March. Within the first week the transmission and touch screen stopped working. The dealership asked me to wait until my extended warranty kicked in and they would cover the $100 deductible on my extended warranty. So, I waited 3 full weeks until that happened. They had the vehicle another 7-10 days diagnosing it. They replaced the transmission, fixed something with the touch screen. I drove it for about a week. I heard a popping noise in the front end. I took it back, they replaced the struts and mounts. I picked it up and on the same day my 6-month pregnant wife and 2 kids broke down 2 hours away from home off the interstate and now the transmission has failed again. My family has put less than 500 miles on this vehicle, and we have paid 4 payments on the vehicle. I have never had an experience like this. Please, ask a lot of questions of the history of the vehicle before purchasing from Pilson. I have made three calls to management and the sales department, and none of them have called me back. read more

Will be taking my vehicle somewhere else. For starters, they took advantage of my 16 year old daughter. She didn't know her tires didn't need rotated, they charged her for it. Roger in the service department does not keep in contact when he says he will. Other shops will waive the diagnostic fee if they repair it, Pilson will not. The VW shop charges less than they do per hour. We will be taking our cars to KC Summers for maintenance and repairs. read more

Put a deposit on a item and was coming to pick it up the next morning (non refundable, non transferable) at 9am and then they waited till 2pm to call me and tell me that they ran my card but they took another's offer and if they back out I could have it but after they got my money I wasn't getting what I put a deposit on then I asked for the manager to get me my item or my money I was told he's in a meeting and would have to call me later I'm still waiting that was two days ago great way to do business read more

Made an appointment to perform repairs on the Ford Chassis of my Class A Motor Home. Discussed the problem, ensured they understood it was a 30 FT long, 12 ft high RV built on a Ford Chassis and the problem was specifically associated with the Chassis component which is under Warranty by Ford. I was assured they could work on the vehicle. Showed up 20 minutes prior to my appointment. Parked just outside the shop door as I did not know if they would want to take it to another area. Went inside and was greeted by a gentleman with an "Is there something you need?" Told him I had a appointment to have my vehicle repaired. He laughed and said "That one?" I said yes and he said "We do not work on those." I said it was a problem on the Ford Chassis and I made the appointment and was told you would work on it. He called up the appointment and then asked what was wrong. I gave him a written explanation of the issue with things I had observed when trying to determine the cause myself. The problem was with the front Turn Signals. He looked at my document and did a quick once over and handed it back to me. He then said they could not work on it because the wiring would not be in accordance with the diagrams. I said it is no different than Ford putting a Truck cab on the Chassis and plugging in the wires. All the other stuff is behind the driving area which I did not expect him to work on. He just said I was wrong and besides, it won't fit in our shop. He then started to speak with another customer. I admit it is a different situation but along with telling me I was wrong, he basically ignored me and my vehicle with absolutely no concern or suggestions to help me. I left and contacted Ford Motor RV Chassis Customer Service and they said other than the fact his shop size did not support moving my RV inside, I was correct that my issue was specifically related to the Ford Chassis and the Ford Diagrams for that Chassis would be the same and was a coveted item under my 3 Year, 36000 mile Ford Warranty. They then found a Ford Dealer about 50 miles away that could support my work. read more
