Quick stop for gas and a bathroom break. Fuel was $3.72 a gallon, the pumps were clean and the fueling area was free of gas and oil stains. The interior of the store was organized, clean and smelled fresh. The restroom was one of the cleanest I have seen for a travel plaza. Pilot has done an outstanding job with keeping this location up to standards for the traveling public. read more

Pilot Travel Center - cars parked in front of the store - Gas Stations Near Me - Latta, South Carolina

Went in as I do every morning before work, One of the creamer machines was out of order and the entire coffee station was a disaster and the cream and mil were out, so I see an employee wearing a dunkin donuts tshirt so they clearly work that station in the location and I am on my way to work so I am in a hurry she was sweeping so i kindly said to her "excuse me the creamer and milk are out" she says thats not my problem i'm busy let the cashier know, and walked away from me. I don't normally leave reviews but this store is always a disaster, the employees are horrible and rude and also look terrible they don't even look like they've showered in weeks. Most of them look high as kites at work, slurring words, unable to comprehend whats being asked of them or even just a normal interaction is horrible because the employees are so out of it. Someone needs to come in and really work on this location as it is one of the most horrible locations i've been to. read more

We stopped here when we were doing a road trip on our way to Florida. We stopped here on an overnight ride. It seemed a little sketchy but we stopped because there was Wendy's and Dunkin' Donuts on the outside. However the Wendy's spot was limited with their items because they ran out of items. The other side where Dunkin' Donuts is suppose to be was a self help spot of just coffee and stale donuts. There were monitors there that showed breakfast sandwiches and other items that did not seem to be available. Not the greatest place to stop by read more

Pilot Travel Center - tables, chairs, and television - Gas Stations Near Me - Latta, South Carolina

Pilot is my go to gas station in the area, they are always friendly and so polite. The inside is very clean and always stocked with great snack options and beverages. I've only ever used their restroom once and they are extremely well kept, clean, and smell fresh. read more

This place is fairly new. They town down the old Pilot and built this nice big one. There's a Subway inside and there's seating too. Large coffee & soft drink island with all types of coffees to choose from. Plenty of parking for cars and big rigs. Located at the junction of the Florida Turnpike and Highway 60 in YeeHaw Jct. read more

Stopped in while passing through. My husband needed to fill up on gas of course in true female fashion me and and my little lady needed to pee. The parking lot is huge here so there is plenty of parking. The first thing I noticed was a worker outside cleaning the parking lot and around the pumps . I have to be honest I'm not big on gas station bathrooms especially now with covid and as I mentioned we are traveling with a 9 year old as well and I'm that super picky mom when it comes to public bathrooms. I have to say this was honestly one of the cleanest public restrooms I have ever been in . The stalls are extremely private with no cracks or creases in the stall doorways each door has a great locking system that allows you to see from the outside if the stall is in use ( red in color reads stall in use green reads stall available for use ) . These bathrooms get a thumbs up form this mommy and my little lady. There is a Wendys here Dairy Queen and Dunkin Donuts all conveniently located inside with plenty of seating. This was a pleasant little stop for us . Also they did have a good selection of bananas and apples and oranges this may seem odd that I mention this but as a mom this was a nice snack for our daughter rather than your normal gas station candy bar and soda . Great convenient stop for families passing through. You can fill up on gas use clean restrooms and grab a bite to eat at a clean place in a great location. Also would be a great stop for anyone traveling alone as the parking lot is very well lit and open ( this is something that I know appeals to me as a woman who is often traveling alone or with my babies .) Also I'd like to mention it was not hard getting in and out of this location there is a clear view in both directions and it's easy to navigate. read more

The South Carolina pilot is very nice. I came in asking for medical tape for my finger and 3 of the nicest ladies all helped me. Very polite atmosphere. Would recommend read more

Over the course of the last 10 years, we've made this place our primary stop. This use to be an outstanding place to get gas, good food and take a nice break. The last three years of our travels and stopping here we have noticed a decline in every aspect of this Gas station providing a service. Most of the time the pumps don't work or the pumps don't take your card and never produce a receipt. I would strongly recommend going somewhere else just for this fact alone. But it gets even worse, Wendy's facility has gone downhill to where it looks like it's cleaner in the bathroom of the gas station than where they are serving food and places to eat. The health department should investigate this Wendy's for food safety. Aside from being dirty area to eat, the service was slow and very time-consuming. The food we got was cold, it was almost like leftovers from the day before. Overall, the facility is very dirty and would not recommend stopping here at all. read more

Stopped here for gas on the way to SC from NC. Gas pumps provided the necessary nourishment for my car, and a Wendy's inside provided the food that I needed to continue on my trek. Honestly, not the best scenario for parking and pulling up to the pump because so many people don't know how to drive and properly pull up to a pump, so several accidents were avoided in my little visit to this location. There's also a Dairy Queen here, but driving and ice cream don't mix in my experience. read more

I do not normally give negative reviews but the Flying J in Latta SC is at the top of the worst of the worst! The absolute worst thing is the Customer service, or lack there of! This use to be a location we would stop at frequently. In the past 2 years it has been very bad. Today was the final straw. Samantha was one of the most unfriendly and down right rude people. We will not ever come back to this location, even if it means rerouting ourselves. This one location has us on the verge of switching all of our business to a competitor. I strongly advise that the employees at Latta, SC under go some customer service classes. read more

I kinda dig this travel stop off of Highway 95. It is isolated so if you are running on fumes, this is the only place to fill up for several miles before you head into North Carolina or the heart of South Carolina. It is right off the highway. Very convenient if you need to be in and out quickly. A sizable gift shop. Admittedly, not many shop for gifts at a gas stop, but here you will find a few treasures that many would appreciate. A very clean and friendly restaurant. Not the healthiest grub, but a menu worth pictures, breakfast buffet, plastic Coke cups and a staff happy to see ya. There is even a lot of South Carolina photography including Charleston. The station itself is huge catering to a great many truckers needing to fill up. Overall, this place has everything for a quick stop or a relaxing break to sit and eat for a while. read more

I think this is the only major stop from the North Carolina border to Myrtle Beach. Which means it is insanely busy, but a good place to get some gas and stretch your legs. There may be something for everyone here. A Dunkin' Donuts Express, a Dairy Queen offering soft serve ice cream and hot dogs, and a full-size Wendy's Hamburgers. The convenience store is an eclectic mix of cold beverages, chrome truck accessories, snacks, (featuring classics like Stuckey's Pecan Logs) and very kitschy souvenirs. read more

This Pilot/Dairy Queen/ Wendy's would've gotten 4/5 stars given the decent restroom. However, as I was making my Dunkin Donuts coffee, I notice a huge ROACH crawling on top of the counter. I lost all appetite for the coffee I was so ready for. Tossed the whole darn cup in the trash. If it weren't 19 degrees, I'd have opted for cold caffeine out the freezer for the rest of my drive. I hope they at least invest in extermination considering there is also a Dairy Queen and Wendy's in the building. I imagine there could potentially be a big problem otherwise if not. read more

Avoid there hot dogs at all costs!!! They totally suck the big one!! I guess all pilots across the country use the same shit brand!!!

We stopped into Wilco on the way back from Charleston, hoping to find one of those grand truck stops with a large gift store so the wife could pick up a couple of gifts for the people who were watching our kitties while we were gone. But alas, this was a pretty bare-bones place. Hardly anything outside of your normal convenience store and a small food area that had a DQ and Quiznos. We got gas and left. It was clean and seems like an OK place to stop on your I-95 travels, but don't expect anything but the basics. read more

Stopped for gas. Store clerk didn't turn on the pump and when my daughter went in to ask the clerk to turn it on the clerk was very rude. We asked to see the manager and The manager was just as rude. As we were leaving I got a fraud alert from my bank stating Pilot was trying to charge $151 and asked if it was valid. We only got $50 worth of gas. Tried to go back into the store to see the manage about it but she barricaded the door (my daughter got video). Manager tried to tell me that my bank puts holds on my account when getting gas. I've been with my credit union for 30 years and they've never put an additional hold on my account for gas. The only pending charges are for the actual amount. DO NOT STOP HERE FOR GAS IR ANYTHING ELSE. read more
