Do not pump your own gas! I have forgotten that a few times on our road trips to Oregon. This Pilot travel center is a good place to stop and fill up both your gas tank and your tummy. The attendants are friendly and efficient at the gas pumps. Before I could even get out of the car, the gentleman was at my window to assist. Good thing cause I would have forgotten again that it is against the law to pump your own gas in Oregon. They get real busy being so close to the interstate. Prices look to be the lowest in the area. Store is fine. Service is good. All reasons to return when driving in this part of the country. read more

The drying machine here does not dry your clothing after one full hour of drying on high heat. It charged the other guy drying his clothing three times for one dry load (which probably won't even dry his clothes). All the truck stops I've been to which Pilot runs has this issue. Making drivers pay several times to dry their clothing is not okay. Also there is no seating in the laundry room (unlike most truck stops) so you have to stand the entire time. There are only two washing machines so if another driver is cleaning their clothing and you walk up then you're likely going to have to wait for them to get done. I had a bad laundry day here and now I have less time to sleep before driving my semi truck hundreds of miles. Not a great experience and could for sure be improved if they bothered to pay attention to their laundry room. read more

I got gas here a few days ago and went inside and paid $30 on a pump I was full at $25 I went inside to get my cash back and they told me it should all be reloaded back into my card (I paid $20 on card and $10 in cash)... well it's been about a week and my $5 never showed up. It may not be much money but that was still money I never got back and should have been handed back to me from the cash amount I gave them. Very disappointed read more

It is Monday afternoon on 9/8 and these CROOKS are still holding $151.00 from my checking account that they took before my $40.00 gas purchase last Wed 9/3. My bank says it can do nothing until pilot decides to release this hold. SHAME ON BERSHIRE/HATHAWAY and Warren Buffett for their greed!!! Very nice and kind staff. Went above and beyond helping me! my car battery died and AAA was going to leave me stranded until morning. they got help for me ( excellent service guy) who got my car running so I could go back on the road and stay nearby ( he then would get me a new battery if not running)! I was there on Sunday driving through from a weekend trip. We stopped to get some gas, which was filled by the attendant. When we got home (stopped again), we realized that the gas cap was not put back onto the car. My car has a locking cover to get to the gas cap itself, and we were driving the whole time so no one else could have gotten to it. So $60 for a new gas cap and $90 for a fill. Not worth it. I understand things happen, but this really sucks. My suggestion would be to pay a little more per hour for adults instead of exploiting these poor high school students/"attendant's". Also, for how big this gas station is, you should probably have more than two. Maybe then, little forgetful moments like this, wouldn't happen. read more

It never fails. There is always at least one fuel Island that is out of service causing massive backup all the way to the opposite end of the truck stop. Parking is a nightmare. This place attracts people who have no idea out of maneuver a truck. The level of stupidity and incompetence is off the charts. First of all, there is no drivers lounge for professional drivers. The showers are pretty.. the people that work there are very rude at the fuel desk so rude. In fact, I would rather drive on an empty tank then buy fuel there. Easily 10 showers but they only use 3 and they are slow to clean them which leads to having to wait too long

Everything was going great they have restaurants they have phone charging stations but dammit it's like 50 degrees in here i asked the manager to turn the heat up a notch or two and they said "it's all ran by corporate" well fuck that it's freezing in here! I have been to this pilot MANY times over the last few years when going camping to grants pass ! We had pulled over in the one hour parking and took a few min to get our clothes from our luggage and head inside for a shower, we had put our curtains up before going into the pilot because I didn't want people to see my electronics or belongings inside which made the manager lady assume we were sleeping the night ! Right as we come out of the shower we hear over the phone service that we had maxed the 1 hour limit ! With no issues at all we approached her to let her know it was our van and we were in the showers. She said we had been here over a hour when we were not and then tried to claim in a rude loud tone we had been here for three hours ! Luckily another man on duty had seen when we arrived and told her that was not true and we had just arrived , she ran out side shrugging in front of other costumers and really embarrassed us. This is a review of the women's bathroom. There were 5 stalls 2 of which were out of order. A little messy a little smelly. They had some weird vending machines and a guess your weight scale. Attention all moms: changing area. Country'ish decor. All paper products present. If it had been cleaned, and all stalls were functioning, it would have earned a 5. Taco Bell and Subway are both present at this Pilot Travel Center as well as an assortment of lovely weird crystal doo-dads for sale in case you accidentally forgot someone with bad taste's birthday. =) An excellent pit stop on the 5! read more

Very rude idk if there was something in there air or what but the three different employees I spoke to this morning were just rude and not professional. Like the gas attendant I went to hand him cash and he throws his hands up and says no I can't take that. And so I said it's okay no big deal I can just walk it to the register. I get to the register and two lovely employees older woman and an older man clearly in the middle of a personal conversation and they both turned to me and treated me as if I was impeading their time I said oh is your register not open and he said no it is and raised his eyebrows in a rude manner as if to say "what do you want". All three of these employees were more than twice my age, I just got off of a 12hr overnight shift and I still have a better attitude than these sad people. read more

Good place to stop for gas, food and drinks, went here on the way to my room to get my Pepsi as I know they are like AM PM and carry both PEPSI and coke fountain They charged me $1.35 for the refill (If you drink soda, I would highly recommend going this rout, in general the refill prices are cheaper then getting new cups. This is a great place to stop, get something to eat, and fill up. However I do give this place a three star, as you are required to walk into the store to pay if you are using diesel as their pump no longer accepts cards. Took it down a notch for me. There are lots of your typical convenience store items, however here you also have a Taco Bell/Subway if the hankering fits. Service is fast and friendly and fuel prices are always competitive. Convenient to get in and out of no matter which direction you are headed, this place is pretty good for your typical truck stop. read more

There's ample truck parking here and the staff have always been friendly when I've gone in. If the fuel island gets backed up you could end up stuck in your parking space, which sucks when you're trying to leave quickly. The lot is also pretty dirty, but it definitely is not the worst I've seen. I have always had good experiences with the Subway & Taco Bell inside, and the showers were clean the few times I've used them. There is also a lot of different food & stores within walking distance, including an Albertsons & Dutch Bros. Walking distance to me is about a mile, so keep that in mind, but it definitely doesn't hurt to stretch your legs. Overall, I don't mind this location, and I like that it has so much nearby. read more

Rude employees. Was getting some coffee and as I was putting on the lid an employee came over and stared at me until I got out of her way so she could get her own coffee. Because saying "excuse me" is so hard. Also I think it's pathetic that the Taco Bell can't sub pico for cheese without charging for 1. when they use to sub free of charge and for 2. when the White City one can sub...free of charge. Then when I pay extra for pico they skimp on it. Wtf?! Oh well at least I have better options by going to other locations. read more

150 dollar pre authorization? And it shows up as a separate transaction? Yeah ok sounds sketchy. Also their management says it's my card, I call my card and they say that's pilot (not my card) validating the card and nothing to do with them. I get shown an image supposedly explaining this. I have attached a picture of what they showed me. It does not say that they do a 151 dollar pre authorization, that's not what those words mean. Those words mean I can't get more than 150 dollars in gas. Hire better management that can graciously explain their policy and not treating people like idiots. read more

I stopped here to take a shower and grab a bite to eat at the Taco Bell attached to the convenience store. Before I got in the shower I had a hard time opening the door so I asked the janitor for some assistance and he didn't even try to help me he just said "something is going on here" and walked away. I went outside because I forgot something and he proceeded to tell me hurry up and get in the shower! The nerve of some people is off the hook so I told him nicely to mind his own business and he responded with just hurry up and get out! I try not to let things bother me so so I kept quiet. Once I was done in the shower I always clean up after myself to reduce the amount of work on the clean up workers because I was a janitor myself back in the day. After eating at Taco Bell I was standing outside to let my food digest when the same janitor came outside and called me a thief because I had my cell phone plugged into an outlet that was outside of the building! And then he lied and said that the incredibly nice manager lady kicked me out of the store when all I got from her was a smile and a hello! Now that really made me upset this guy is senile, clearly delusional, and way too emotionally and mentally unstable to even hold the SMALLEST position in a convenience store gas station. read more

Any local knows this place is slooooooow! The thing is, the attendants are NOT at fault. Most if the time there's only one or two people running around trying to take care of customers. Also, if you pay cash you have to pay inside. If you only want to put a specific dollar amount in, you pay inside (they do it in a way that if it goes over, you have to stay inside in case you need a refund). The only way to get gas and leave is to fill it up and pay with a card. Oh! If you're lucky, you'll be behind someone who does go inside and uses the bathroom, eats or shops around while their car sits at a gas pump. The drive-thru was backed up on to Peninger upon arrival, so went inside hoping to get the order on Taco Bell's screens sooner. To my surprise, the friendly cashier was ready, the service was prompt and accurate. The updated floorplan was a pleasant surprise. The new wall was nicely placed to morally separate Subway/Taco Bell from Cinnabon/Pilot, which created a very well-equipped Cinnabon bar/self-serve coffee machines. By the time the to-go order was ready, I noticed only one car in the drive-thru. Great service, nice decor/ambiance, might be worth another visit...yes, even if it's still considered to be (and still is) 'fast food.' read more

Pilot station is fine. And actually they were nice and helpful once I got treated horribly by the little twit working for Cinnabon. I wanted to buy two six packs of cinnamon buns. It clearly is offered on their menu for $13.99. But they told me they could not sell me. 6pack for that price. They would only sell me a six pack for $3.89 a cinnamon roll. But if I wanted to go next door to the pilot area I could buy them there if there was any left. Pilot awesome. Cinnamon sucked. Their customer service was awful! And the little twit working the counter was not nice about it at all! So if you want to buy a cinnamon roll from pilot your in luck if they have them. If you want to buy one from Cinnabon. The Greyhound stops here going both north and south, so I've visited plenty of times. It's really not a bad place. Nothing to really dislike. The whole place is fairly clean and the fast food restaurants are in good shape and the lines move along swiftly. They usually have pretty good deals on snacks and there's a very wide variety. Also, there are apparently showers, if you need that sort of thing. read more
