I went out early to fill up this big gas guzzler Suburban SUV at the Costco here in Medford. I guess this Costco is not technically Medford but it might as well be. The lines were not too long and I got in. I guess they have attendants to fill you tank here on Oregon or I think you have the choice to fill your own. They're scared you'll blow up the place, gosh I wonder how many gas stations exploded cause someone was pumping they're own gas? I get to the guy and ask can you clean the windshield too? NOPE! so much for full service! This gas hog was almost empty so I sat for awhile while it filled. Used my Costco Citi card to get back 5% back at least. Gas was cheaper here than any other place especially like a Chevron. I do like that the hoses extend to either side of the vehicle, so it doesn't matter which side you pull up on. read more

This is a great place to fill up during a road trip. Getting into and out of a pump has been really easy. There didn't seem to be the crazy crowds that some of the other Costco stations we've been to have. Exiting from the gas station itself can be a bit tricky depending on the number of people going to the store itself. read more

Depending on the time of day you go it can be busy but we typically don't wait more than 5 minutes. The attendants are usually friendly and run around taking care of multiple people at once. The price is usually the lowest but not always. read more

The line for filling up is organized and the wait time isn't long at all. On this occasion, I forgot my physical membership card so I showed them the membership on my Costco app. They accepted it, but instead of scanning it, they used their own universal white card to swipe me to allow me to get gas. I recommend stopping by this Costco, near Medford, for gas because it's the last location before crossing the California state border. There's also lots of grass area to let my puppy out for a potty break and pick up after her. There isn't much tree shade around here so be careful about the scorching sun on their pads. read more

Prices were great as far as other stations in the Rogue Valley, however, this Costco needs to work on wayfinding. If you come in from the north, the gas station is at the far south entrance off Table Rock, and it's right in, and right out. They had the middle lane closed off at several locations, so you could not go around to open pumps - you had to wait for all three pumps to open at once. If the Central Point Pilot is cheaper or the same price, I would go there just to avoid the cluster that is a Costco gas station. read more

These people hustle to keep lines moving for customers and are tip top employees, I hope Costco treats them well! Ahhhh, finally got to a Costco gas station on my way north from the Bay area to Medford....its funny but there isn't any Costco gas on the I5 corridor from Sacremento north to Medford!! I had to gas at an Arco in Redding.....$6.20 a gallon....meh....but here I am in Medford and gas here at Costco is like $5.10 a gallon....and they frickin pump my gas!! with a smile....ahhhh the good ole days....so with a full tank and a bathroom break, i'm back on the road!! Ok, so I might as well continue this review with a followup on the Salem Costco, which mirrored the one in Medford....same great price and same great service but further north...Salem, only stopped for gas here but looks to be a nice area....might need to return and hang!! next stop Seattle..... read more

Thankful for this Costco gas station- stopped here twice en route to and from Washington state. Being in Oregon, it is full service and the attendants are friendly and fast. It's still hard for this born and bred California boy to get use to someone else pumping their gas. Not sure the price was cheaper than pilot - but Top Tier Petro, easy in & out (once I realized the gas station wasn't where yelp thought it was), and not much of a line. A little out of the way from Highway 5, but definitely worth the stop !! read more

What the heck Costco? I went to get gas at 7:30 in the evening & only three other cars were there. Somebody started pumping my gas but then everybody seemed to have disappeared. More cars pulled up but nobody ever came back to take the nozzle out of my car. Had to get out and finish it myself- as did the Person in the car next to me.Frustrating! read more

Costco has the most logical refueling set up. All lanes go the same way, the staff are motivated and make quick work of Oregon's relic law that does not allow one to refuel their own vehicle. If I had any complaint is that they can be counted upon to drop the gas cap on the lanyard, against the paint in lieu of using the hook inside the door. Car people get incensed when anything scrapes against their paint. Fortunately, they don't "top off" or swing the nozzle out so gas runs down the side of the car. read more

Bakery down hill. After 2 years of Costco baking our birthday cakes for my 2 boys they can't "place" the pre-ordered cake topper on it. After years of saying that they can, its the 1 year new bakery managers "rule." Better off going to Fred Meyer and/or Albertsons for birthday cakes. read more

Costco always has the best price for gas and here in Oregon they always pump your gas for you. Nina said she could get used to that. This station is new since we were last in Oregon and the lines move quickly because it has three pumps in each row. The gas station entrance is a distance from the warehouse entrance, down the same road toward the back. We filled up and are good to go for the time we'll be in Ashland and the Southern Oregon area. read more

Costco gas stations are like a well oiled machine. They usually have the better price in town. They always have a line, but with multiple pumps now, three cars are gassing at one time on each side- it is a faster process than the old location. The employees are usually quick and efficient- and friendly. Sometimes it's quite robotic but I don't think that's bad, considering it's a job that you're outdoors in the freezing cold or in summer it's 100 degrees outside. The woman who pumped my gas was really nice to me and genuinely smiled and wished me a good day. That was nice cuz it was after I had a very long day myself at work and I just got done shopping at the Costco warehouse and it was packed even at closing time. I know some people fuss that they don't take cash at Costco gas, but that's just part of how it stays a quicker process. Not having to make change for customers speeds up the line. read more
