I signed up for his intro class (via Zoom right now) and just finished the three class course. It was wonderful experience! It was just what I was looking for to increase my knowledge and comfort level with my camera. Elliot is a patient, methodical instructor. He encourages questions and answers thoroughly. He keeps the class sizes small which means a lot of personal attention. He had us give him info on our cameras before the class started so that he could give us very specific instructions on the various settings. See the "before" and "after" photos of one of our dogs.

Within 3 weeks our son could float, within 5 weeks he could swim and pull himself out of the pool, and we even did a test if he fell in with his clothes on and he passed with flying colors! I'd like to think its genetics but it was really David's hands on approach. Since then we have kept him enrolled and now as a 4 year old, he has the confidence that extends outside the pool. I can't recommend WeAquatics enough. Even compared to our friends kids who enrolled in other companies (Goldfish), it's not even close!

The Trinity facility is an exceptional space, great parking, wonderfully kind staff. WEAquatics is an amazing program with stellar teachers. They are kind and encouraging and knowledgeable. Our 8 year old says that the lessons are the highlight of her week and the progress our 4 year old has made in two lessons was unbelievable. The staff at the program is responsive and flexible. This is expensive but worth the investment. For us, these are our first lessons for both kids and I know our kids will make significant progress in a short amount of time, thereby making the $$$ more than worth it.

These are not old beat up inexpensive 172s but really nice Cirrus aircraft, comparable to a new Cessna 172 or 182. These have aircraft parachutes (CAPS). They also are a little more expensive but comparable with other schools in large metro areas One of the instructors, Buck, was really funny and has a unique ability to train. Also, he doesn't believe burning time on the ground (20-30 minutes) trying to teach the G-1000 to new students like another school on field would do. There are less expensive computer programs and ground trainers.

I am easily motion sick and not a fan of heights and my first attempt at jumping scared the daylight out of me but I did it and went back to try again. By the third jump I was excited to jump and wanted really hard to get the trick we were being taught. By the end of the class I felt like I was on my way to leveling up! Service The teachers were so patient and understanding, they went over and over everything until we were all comfortable. You are assigned a trainer and two additional people assist with teaching. Liz, Sampson and Isaiahs to be exact were so amazing I had to name them. Only two out of our group had flew before so we needed all their attention and they provided it! They encouraged us to come back and even reminded us we get a discount if we register within the 24 hr time period. Cost I was very pleased for the experience we received in comparison to the price. Very reasonable imo and very convenient when it came to scheduling dates. Location Located in Navy Yard suprsigly I was able to nab a spot directly in front and never had to look around. I booked the 6pm class which may have played a factor with the parking.

FLYING TRAPEZE It's pretty intimidating to climb all the way…read moreup to the top and stand on that platform and jump for the first time. But you get used to it after awhile because depending on the size of the class, you could end up jumping 6-8 times. Toward the end I was getting really tired and my arms were feeling like jello and wanted to give out. When you go for the swinging catch you really have to stretch your body and reach for the other person. Unfortunately, I didn't make the connection but with a few more sessions I feel that will be the natural next step. It's exhilarating and you leave feeling like a bad ass. BEGINNER SILKS CLASS This class was a lot harder than it looks - it does require some upper body strength, hand grip and balance. The instructor was very encouraging and demonstrated each move step by step. I only took one class but I'd be interesting in taking a series once it gets a little warmer out. I would recommend wearing long sleeves and pants because your body will rub with a lot of friction against the silks. I'm excited to continue to take both classes again and some of their additional unique offerings like the lyra (aerial hoop), trampoline and maybe even juggling classes!

I took a Groupon class of his and then went to an in person class. His sense of humor along with his knowledge made it fun and not overwhelming to take my first photography class. I thought it was very useful class for anyone who just purchased (or given) a DSLR camera and want a quick learning curve on how to use the device effectively. The class was held in a hotel conference room. The class was full, we had about 20 or so people. All with various types of DSLR with them. Some with more advanced camera and equipments, other with more older models (some even discontinued). The skill levels were all different but for this course, it's gear toward to BEGINNERS. Okello is an enthusiastic and funny dude. He'll probably read this review at some point, but I'll be truly honest about the course I just took. Pros: The class is very effective for any beginners. He'll go over everything about the DSLR and what to focus on. He'll spend great time discussing aperture, focus, ISO, and lighting. Basically four things you'll need to know inside out if you want to make great shots on your next trip to Jamaica or New York City. He'll explain difficult and complicated things easily using many analogies so that newbies like I can understand what he's talking about and apply. He's funny. Maybe he has to, otherwise the lecture-based workshop can be really boring and he would lose his audience. Everyone's level is different, so one may know more than others, thus make things little boring for those who are more advanced. But there's nothing Okello do about it. He does his best to engage his audience in practices and theology of DSLR. Cons: I wish he would focus and show us pictures that we can all take. Too many times, the sample photos shown on projector were taken with $1,600 lens, tripods, polarizers, and etc. Equipments we (beginners) can't probably afford and only dream about. We have 18-55mm very basic lens, so if he had shown photos with those lens, maybe we could have increased our hopes of taking great shots too. Also, I believe he spent little too much time talking about technicality of DSLR rather than skills/tips on how to take great photography. I wish he would spent more time on composition, background, lighting on different occasions. We were all very soaked in aperture, ISO and shutter speed. Those are important to know, but I, ultimately believe (I'm sure Okello does too) that it's about personal skills and experience that makes the picture spectacular. Not the ISO numbers. Summary: I found this course very effective to my growth and learning of photography. I'm a hobby photographer and want to be recognized by my friends not from the media. I probably won't take his advanced courses, but this one and Workshop II maybe great for anyone who's willing to take the photography skills to next level.

We were met by the Director Ms. Alexandria and given a tour of the facility. She was attentive to not only us but to our baby as well. We have a rather shy child but he took to Ms. Alexandria as if she was part of our family. The day rate is more than reasonable for the quality of care our child receives when we are in town. We will continue to use Everbrook Academy, Froggy Bottom during our frequent trips to the DC Area!!
