The case worker hasn't returned calls for weeks to us or Butte County Health. Hilariously, if you get the Nursing "Supervisor" Serena Boorman, you will get to act as her therapist for the entire visit as she complains about her fibromyalgia and that her pain is worse than her clients but she can't get a diagnosis and is forced to use the Med-Spa in Chico for chelation therapy. You'll also get the random butt dial from her car during her road rage incidents. All that said, for Skilled Nursing, the nurses are excellent.

The amount of help and assistance it provides to the community and the many contracted counties is incredibly impressive. I wish the number of patients whose lives have changed by HHCM would be on display so everyone can see what an impact this place makes. HHCM is beyond just in-home care. It helps the homeless finding housing, it provides case management to facilitate maneuvering through a confusing health system, it provides resources for better overall care, and the services go on and on. A kind of business dreamt by one individual, the CEO, who chose a career in Nursing for the intention of benefiting others. Such a bright and intelligent woman with years of experience and one who I have learned so much from in the last two months. I cannot express enough how thankful I am to be part of this group.

I would give this therapist no stars if I could. I had a massage this afternoon with Isaac. I sent…read moremy intake form a week ahead of time along with a message on it and he never even took the time to read any of it until I came to my appointment. Wasting 10 min. of my massage time. When the massage was over I realized that he shorted me 7 min. of a scheduled hour massage. We started at 2:25 and ended at 3:18. I arrived on time. Had he looked at my intake information before I arrived we could have discussed any questions or concerns via email, text or phone, or as the massage was starting to commence and the massage would have begun and ended on time. The massage was mediocre at best. Hence, his lack of experience of only 3 years. The points of pain that I told him bothered me more than others, he treated just like any other part of the body that had no issues accept for my shoulders, and sadly, that was mediocre at best as well. He needs to pay attention to his clients when they speak to him regarding issues of concern. I have had thousands of massages of many modalities, and all of my massage therapists are seasoned professionals and have the experience and are well trained to deal with all of my issues. They are very common issues to the well trained seasoned professional. I am trained myself in massage therapy in many modalities so I am well versed in what is expected during a massage therapy session and unfortunately this one did not measure up. Definitely go to someone with at least 10 or more years of experience and to someone who does not think that neurological and joint issues are uncommon when you come for a massage, like Issac does. Moving on. Hey Candi: I'm not going to spend much time on my response to you because I already said the the truth regarding what happened before and during my massage session. The bottom line is he was asked to a medium pressure Swedish massage and stay away from my neck. We spoke of my issues briefly but they were not the prime focus of the massage. I gave him the basics. He should have looked at my info beforehand in case he had any questions. If I needed him to lighten up on the pressure I told him to do so and it was still mediocre at best. It was not rocket science. FYI again, I did not get extra time. The session was done 7 minutes early and I was there on time. You said it yourself, he couldn't give me extra time since he had someone right after me. I finally found a professional masseuse familiar with all of my issues and we are a great match. I hope you find massage therapists that can handle people with various issues whether they turn out to be muscular skeletal, neurological, neuromuscular and the like. Your business will be better for it and I hope you and your massage therapists learn to take criticism as a positive tool. It's called being a grown up, instead of a child. Have a nice day! She has been seeing Susan for 7 months now and she has made so much progress! Now at 1 year of age, she is able to sit alone, play with toys, roll, crawl and pull herself up to stand! The gap in my daughter's delays and her age is closing. We are now addressing standing and walking. My daughter is always happy to see Susan. She is always so productive during her therapy sessions (except when she is hungry or tired) She literally loved Susan from day one. I trust that she will meet all her physical developmental milestones with her. She is consistent, dependable and loving. She has tons of experience. She is a mom of four herself. Endless source of wisdom and guidance for any child or adult. I would recommend Susan to any parent looking for an Occupational Therapist.
