Jose was our host and he could not have been better. We just bought our Airstream about a month ago so we're rookies & made some rookie mistakes. He was so incredibly forgiving, kind and gracious with us! He taught us a few things that are standard to have & do and we could not be more grateful. The place itself is extremely well maintained and so close to the beach. It was the perfect first-time experience for us and we will absolutely be back!!!

Yep! This is a place for us and you too!

Coast or mountains? North or south? 3,4,5 hours? How about west AND less than an hour from the casa? OK! After 30 years playing in the CA Delta ( I am old, kinda) it was high time for something new! We bought a camping trailer. Weekends are short and the coast is the coast, and the closest coastal goldmine for us is HMB. Sure, there is the Tahoe National Forest but most of these are closed for winter. PPRV doesn't close for winter. They are 1st come, first served and you can't get in past 6 p. You can check in as early as 8:30 a.m. and one of the cool things is real time site availability on their very nice website! After checking in, you get an escort and help backing you into your spot. Our "hotel on wheels" only costs $89 to park in their FULL hookup facility. For a few dollars more, you can get a coastal view spot, unobstructed from other rigs. Once you hook up, there are options. Walk on beach, take a boat whale watching. You can go sport fishing, kayaking, swimming, surfing, bike riding or all of the above, if time and money permit. You could also sit in a chair and do nothing. Early bird gets the worm over here, and you'll definitely need a plan b and c in the event there are no spots when you arrive. Don't worry, there are other spots an hour or two away to the south. This is the perfect place for locals who want to get out of the house for the weekend and stay at the beach. We'll be back soon!

Beautiful RV campground that's right on the harbor. Close walking distance to restaurants and other amenities. The host was super nice and helpful with getting our trailer into the right spot. We'll definitely stay here again!

Easy walk to the Harbor, Restaurants, and amazing sunsets.

I just spent almost 2 months here off and on starting in July 8 of 2022 and ending today, September 7 2022 after being booted out of the park last night because why? That's a great question, I never got any notifications of breaking policy or warnings. However, on Monday, the best camp host that I've ever had experience with was terminated and all I that makes sense to me is the other host is singling out those of us who recognize Tee as the superior host while Trudy is like the character from Seinfeld; The Soup Nazi. Under Tee, the park was cleaner, happier, and safer. Under Trudy, it's constant yelling and anger, but more than that, Trudy doesn't bother to clean up trash, never walks the park, doesn't help everyone park (I witnessed incidents of property damage on Trudy's week because she wasn't helping - 2 pics uploaded) Trudy has lost it, like literally lost it. Avoid this park while she's 'in charge'

Our experience here was great! Drew was very nice and accommodating. Our site was small and we were lucky enough to have both sites next to us empty. I could imagine if it was full it would be tight. Our location was a amazing and view would be hard to beat. Great bike ride or walking path right in front of your site. Love the highway noise and the waves crashing on the rocks. We will definitely be back!

Here for a quick one night stay we decided to do last minute. The spots are first come first serve so you can't reserve but there were plenty on the Sunday night we arrived. the check-in process was simple and easy, each spot has a sewer dump hole (big enough that we didn't need a 90 degree connector) and hook ups for $80 . It's right on the water ! We loved that we could walk down to the brewery on the path that goes directly by the rv park . Can't wait to come back !

Mini fish, trap, calamari, fish, shrimp, scallops

Awesome place to camp, so many fun things to do, had such an amazing time here with my family, watching the surfers on surfers beach, or eating the best calamari at Barbara's Fishtrap, love to go down to the Harbor, and see what all the captains are bringing in ,off their boats fresh fish . Two thumbs up for my family.

Great spot for staying at the beach at reasonable rates. Definitely a new favorite place.

It's hit or miss on getting an ocean view site BUT chances are good to be able to move up to one during your stay. My wife loves this place and we try to go at least 3 times a year.

My corner spot in back row.

First come first serve, but they say you can call before you go to see if spots available. I got a spot on the corner in the back row which was nice. However there was a lot of road noise which can't be helped if your in the back row. Trudy was the camp host, checked me in and was very nice and helpful!

As a newer RV owner, I especially appreciated how incredibly easy it was to access the park and our spot. That simple convenience took away a lot of the initial stress of driving a big rig and is a huge plus. The park itself is top-notch. Our spot was absolutely huge, giving us plenty of room to spread out. The entire resort is super clean, and the restrooms and showers were spacious and spotless--a real pleasure to use. A major bonus for us was that they even have designated areas for tent setups, which meant our "tent camping" friends were able to join us for the weekend. But the true magic of this location is its unbeatable proximity to everything. We were within easy walking distance of fantastic shopping, dining, and even some fun bar hopping with fancy distilleries nearby. The Marina is also just a short stroll away, where we spent time sitting and watching the otters and sea lions--it was absolutely beautiful and so relaxing. We were so close to every amenity and attraction that we didn't even unhook the truck from the camper the entire weekend! Finally, I have to give a massive shout-out to the amazing host. He greeted us the second we drove in and personally walked us to our spot. He even offered a 50-amp 'dog bone' adapter because he noticed my camper was 30-amp--talk about thoughtful service! Every time he walked his adorable boxer, he would stop to greet us and check in, making sure we had everything we needed. He was consistently available and incredibly friendly. We are already planning our next trip. We will for sure be back! If you're looking for a clean, convenient, and perfectly located RV park in the Bay Area, this is it!

First and foremost, I would like to say our family enjoyed our stay here. Lori, the manager, is…read moresuch a nice women and is extremely kind and helpful, we had no issues getting a long term spot for my husband due to his constant change in jobs so he is constantly changing locations for work and they were able to get us a spot immediately for long term stays. The location is great, near downtown and close to everything you need like shops, grocery stores and gas stations. The bike trails that lead to the ocean from the RV Park are INCREDIBLE, we went on bike rides everyday! Side note: I grew up in Half Moon Bay, our family currently doesn't live here anymore but I have a long history with the town and the people who live there. Secondly, At the end of our families stay, we were informed by the park that they were getting complaints about our children... saying they were being too loud, people would occasionally hear them crying, we were playing music (during the day) and they could hear our kids running around inside the trailer.... Our children are 4 and 1 years old.... They were being KIDS!! So someone near us, was that bothered by our children, they had to make a huge deal about it and report us to the front office... My husband has not lived at home in almost 4 years due to his job so when my children and I would come see my husband it was for a week at a time, and that is the ONLY time we get to see him. We have to travel to him, otherwise we don't get to see him AT ALL. I understand nobody knows our situation, which we dont expect people too, but it also made us feel extremely unwelcome after that phone call we received, it made us feel extremely uncomfortable and we felt like we were now being watched because our kids had a couple "bad days". Being from Half Moon Bay, I took this news extremely personal, it made us feel like we were getting "kicked out" or "warned" that if it didn't change, they were going to ask us to leave. All because someone can't handle children being children. My husband has lived in 8 different trailer parks all up and down California and Nevada the last 4 years and we have NEVER had complaints towards our family. There are a ton of retired, working and older tenants who live there full time and apparently some forget what it's like to have kids, or they've never had kids themselves. Unfortunately, we did decide to leave the park. At that time my husband had already lived there full time for over 3 months. My husband was not comfortable having us come visit him if we felt unwelcome and felt like we were going to be watched each time we came. Especially telling our children they can't be themselves while they're there because some people have issues with kids. We genuinely enjoyed our stay there, we had such a great time creating memories as a family, until we didn't. I do recommend staying here if your doing a short term stays because you're gone in a few days so it's not enough time to create an issue, but if you have children and are looking for a long term place, I would not recommend it unless you "KEEP THEM ON A TIGHT LEASH" which is what was told to our new tenant by the park when moving in. And to the front office, I did not create this post to have you reply or feel like you need to "stick up" for your RV Park, it's a GREAT park, I just don't think it's GREAT for children which is the focus of my posting. Thank you for allowing us to stay there for the time we did, but it was time for us to go.
