If you are RV camping in half moon bay you cannot get a better location than this park! We had a great experience, brought our puppy, had lovely easy access coastal walks and down to the beach and enjoyed sunset view at the neighboring ritz Carlton . Private showers and bathrooms if you need, hoses to rinse off sand from the beach. Very dog friendly, nice people that stayed there and great people that work here. We will be back to stay here for sure!

One star less due to noisy on-site construction being completed and not being advised of said construction when we made reservations. We probably wouldn't of booked there if construction was in progress. On the positive side, the staff is very friendly and the sites are well equipped with full hook-ups, WiFi, and cable TV. It's an easy walk to the North and South Coastal trails which will lead you to some fantastic photo opportunities along the pristine golf course. You do have to watch out for the golfers in their carts. If you take the Coastal Trail North, it will take you past the Ritz-Carlton Hotel which is a beautiful resort. The beach access is really easy to get to and is accessible to all. The weather this time of the year (mid October) was awesome. We're really looking forward to coming back after construction is completed.

We stayed here for 3 nights a couple weeks ago. The staff was super friendly. The prices are right in line with all the other RV parks but you do get the beach just a few steps away. The spots were easy to park in and overall the guests were respectful. The staff did walk around and check things out quite a bit which was nice because there were a few people with dogs off leash which gets annoying when you have dogs of your own. The only reason for four stars was because the bathrooms were consistently dirty and one time out of toilet paper. They probably just need more restrooms for the amount of spots they have.

Views of the ocean five minutes away!

I recently stayed here and had a wonderful experience! The staff were friendly and very helpful. It is also a five minute walk to the beach! However the spots are not very well spaced and it was hard to get our 30ft trailer into the spot. We stayed in sight #10 . The bathrooms weren't the cleanest but they were fine. However the smelled horrible. Overall it was a wonderful experience!

Here's a photo of the beach just a few steps away from our RV!

This is one of top places to take our Airstream for the following reasons: 1. Ryan, who manages the office / store is ALWAYS very helpful and friendly. We were having issues with our cable and TV and he came over and quickly fixed the issue! He's always available and happy to help us. 2. Location! Steps away from so many trails and a beautiful beach. 3. For the most part, easy to obtain a reservation. 4. Fairly small RV park that is super clean, has a perfeft Little store, clean bathrooms and even a laundry room!! 5. We can't wait to come back!!!

Rv resort with ocean in a distance. Picture taken from the street not our spot. No view from RV

For 100.00 a night this place is in a great location but our Rv spot (#10) was tiny. We had no view but you could walk down to a coastal trail in 5 min to enjoy a nice walk and the beautiful ocean/beaches view. There were only 2 bathrooms and the showers were in the bathroom with no separation so you couldn't take a shower if someone was in the bathroom or vice versa. Also, the bathrooms smelled horrid every single time I went in there. It would be nice if they put a wall diffuser in the restrooms. Also, the bathroom was not clean. I am still going to give 4 stars as it is a nice location and happy to be in Half Moon Bay. No

The RV park is close to the beach, there are lots of great places to eat nearby. The park is clean, staff are friendly.

First off, we stayed here 20 years ago and LOVED it. We had rented an RV that one time only. Now that we own our own RV we decided to go back. I was super nervous after reading these terrible reviews and wondered what went wrong.... turns out NOTHING! As I have found with most bad reviews of RV parks they are unfounded and not what I experience at all. I like nice things so I kind of have high expectations and guess what? Pelican Point RV met them all and exceeded some! First off, i found their rates very reasonable. Full- Hook-Ups including Cable. Clean paved spots. The proximity to a fabulous beach is just a short walk away, and right on the beautiful PGA golf course at the Ritz which you can partake in a round if golf even staying here. With all of that the rates were still reasonable. Second the staff was amazingly friendly and accommodating. Super nice and informative. The store is small but has what you could need and want for a treat or even a quick repair. They HAVE propane on site!!! And it was reasonably priced as well. Amenities... clean paved spots with room to park a vehicle, extra cars are a mere 2 dollars extra a day. Full easy to use hook-ups, cable TV as well as wifi if you are up close to the office. Clean restrooms and showers. Even a dog area with doggie bags!!! Close to walking the coastal trail and to the beach. Super close to town and restaurants. Yes they have full time residents and no one was unfriendly. Most parks do have full timers. Doesn't bother me a bit. It felt super safe, we could see a peak of the ocean from our spot. We loved it so much we already re-booked once and are looking to rebook again!

Pelican RV Park - Access to CA Coastal Trail is only 5 minutes walk!

Pelican RV Park in Half Moon Bay CA has the best Onsite Manager - Judy! She is very professional, KIND, & understanding! Judy listened to the needs very carefully. Non-judgemental and great listener! She always goes out of her way to serve people! The owner of Pelican RV Park in Half Moon Bay CA is doing a lot of great jobs in improving the property, and it is situated along side of the Pacific Ocean! Everything is clean, organized, and respectful! Amazing SPECIAL PLACE! We even bought 5 SeaGlass Magnets that Judy made! Everything is beautiful here!!! 10 Stars!!!

If there was a 10 star option they would get it! awesome park, very clean and well manicured, great view and the staff was very accommodating to our needs, we had a plumbing issue on our coach and Mike was helpful to get the problem rectified so that he insured our visit was trouble free and that our issue we were going to continue to have was properly repaired. I tried to pay him and he refused to take my money. Great guy!! I love this place and have it on our map as a must go to when in the area!

Best beach vacation to bring our travel trailer to. We've been twice and will definitely be back. Clean, friendly, close to the beach.

Full hookups so you don't have to carry/use a honey truck and sometimes that's a huge bonus. Good number of on site restrooms/showers and code lock doors to keep out undesirables (unfortunately that's really common these days) Cameron's resturaunt is adjoined to the RV park and food is pretty good. Karaoke on Friday/Saturday evening made for a fun time. Took May grandson out biking and the access to trails coastside avoiding any need to be near a road was a super plus. Close to beaches, but no direct quick access from the park grounds.

First and foremost, I would like to say our family enjoyed our stay here. Lori, the manager, is…read moresuch a nice women and is extremely kind and helpful, we had no issues getting a long term spot for my husband due to his constant change in jobs so he is constantly changing locations for work and they were able to get us a spot immediately for long term stays. The location is great, near downtown and close to everything you need like shops, grocery stores and gas stations. The bike trails that lead to the ocean from the RV Park are INCREDIBLE, we went on bike rides everyday! Side note: I grew up in Half Moon Bay, our family currently doesn't live here anymore but I have a long history with the town and the people who live there. Secondly, At the end of our families stay, we were informed by the park that they were getting complaints about our children... saying they were being too loud, people would occasionally hear them crying, we were playing music (during the day) and they could hear our kids running around inside the trailer.... Our children are 4 and 1 years old.... They were being KIDS!! So someone near us, was that bothered by our children, they had to make a huge deal about it and report us to the front office... My husband has not lived at home in almost 4 years due to his job so when my children and I would come see my husband it was for a week at a time, and that is the ONLY time we get to see him. We have to travel to him, otherwise we don't get to see him AT ALL. I understand nobody knows our situation, which we dont expect people too, but it also made us feel extremely unwelcome after that phone call we received, it made us feel extremely uncomfortable and we felt like we were now being watched because our kids had a couple "bad days". Being from Half Moon Bay, I took this news extremely personal, it made us feel like we were getting "kicked out" or "warned" that if it didn't change, they were going to ask us to leave. All because someone can't handle children being children. My husband has lived in 8 different trailer parks all up and down California and Nevada the last 4 years and we have NEVER had complaints towards our family. There are a ton of retired, working and older tenants who live there full time and apparently some forget what it's like to have kids, or they've never had kids themselves. Unfortunately, we did decide to leave the park. At that time my husband had already lived there full time for over 3 months. My husband was not comfortable having us come visit him if we felt unwelcome and felt like we were going to be watched each time we came. Especially telling our children they can't be themselves while they're there because some people have issues with kids. We genuinely enjoyed our stay there, we had such a great time creating memories as a family, until we didn't. I do recommend staying here if your doing a short term stays because you're gone in a few days so it's not enough time to create an issue, but if you have children and are looking for a long term place, I would not recommend it unless you "KEEP THEM ON A TIGHT LEASH" which is what was told to our new tenant by the park when moving in. And to the front office, I did not create this post to have you reply or feel like you need to "stick up" for your RV Park, it's a GREAT park, I just don't think it's GREAT for children which is the focus of my posting. Thank you for allowing us to stay there for the time we did, but it was time for us to go.

As a newer RV owner, I especially appreciated how incredibly easy it was to access the park and our spot. That simple convenience took away a lot of the initial stress of driving a big rig and is a huge plus. The park itself is top-notch. Our spot was absolutely huge, giving us plenty of room to spread out. The entire resort is super clean, and the restrooms and showers were spacious and spotless--a real pleasure to use. A major bonus for us was that they even have designated areas for tent setups, which meant our "tent camping" friends were able to join us for the weekend. But the true magic of this location is its unbeatable proximity to everything. We were within easy walking distance of fantastic shopping, dining, and even some fun bar hopping with fancy distilleries nearby. The Marina is also just a short stroll away, where we spent time sitting and watching the otters and sea lions--it was absolutely beautiful and so relaxing. We were so close to every amenity and attraction that we didn't even unhook the truck from the camper the entire weekend! Finally, I have to give a massive shout-out to the amazing host. He greeted us the second we drove in and personally walked us to our spot. He even offered a 50-amp 'dog bone' adapter because he noticed my camper was 30-amp--talk about thoughtful service! Every time he walked his adorable boxer, he would stop to greet us and check in, making sure we had everything we needed. He was consistently available and incredibly friendly. We are already planning our next trip. We will for sure be back! If you're looking for a clean, convenient, and perfectly located RV park in the Bay Area, this is it!
