Tried my first pilates class at Pilates Blast with 5 friends of different ages/abilities. From the moment we walked in, we were greeted by Melissa, who made us feel right at home. The studio itself is beautiful and inviting. Our instructor Lizzie (also the studio manager) was fantastic! She took the time to explain the different exercises (a few of us were first-timers). She made us laugh while teaching us to do each movement correctly/safely. Dani, the owner, clearly has a passion for Pilates and creating a welcoming community. I couldn't have asked for a better introduction to Pilates! We had an amazing, supportive, encouraging and fun instructor, Lizzie. It was hard, but good hard, and Lizzie kept us motivated and challenged the entire class. This studio is the most incredible pilates studio I have ever been to. The staff Lindsay,Lizzie,Liv, Jenny, Kirsten and Carla are just the most amazing and caring instructors they work with you and never make you feel incapable of completing a session. Happy I found Dani and the studio after moving to town. There are a good amount of classes, the childcare seems like an awesome perk, and the classes are kept to a good amount of people. I have really only taken the various Pilates options (rather than megaformer) and have found them to be challenging and spot on. Really lovely place. read more

A complete mind and body work out. Uses your strength and balance to focus on your body's connection. You can get great results with Candice's & Dani's personal instruction the classes are so small you can not hide. Love the class and all the people I have met there so far. read more

I've been to approximately 30 different megaformer studios in N. America and this is one of my favorites. I find that many studios have music blaring so loudly that it is difficult to hear the instructor and often they use muddy sounding headsets to try and make themselves heard over the music. Not here! The music was good and kept at a reasonable level, and the instruction is attentive and easy to hear. I will go back here anytime I am in the area! read more

For a girl who just had her second baby and is pushing 40, I never dreamed that my body could look and feel the way it does now... after only 7 months of Pilates Blast classes! I've never been one to go for long runs, commit to a gym and actually go, or really do any type of exercise with regularity, but I actually look forward to each class at Pilates Blast. The instructors are amazing, motivational and knowledgeable. Despite sticking mainly to Pilates (vs. Cardio Pilates and Megaformer, although I do throw those in on occasion), I am constantly challenged and never bored. Not only do I feel like I've gotten a good physical workout (and can actually see results), it's FUN! Their new app makes it easier than ever to schedule classes (for real) and the cancellation policy makes me GO to classes rather than let laziness get the best of me. And Lee in the childcare room is an angel - so wonderful with all the children, including my little baby. If you want a lean, fit body, (and need someone to keep your little one(s) busy), this is the place to go. One word of warning - the classes book up quickly, so schedule as soon as you can. read more
