Loverly setting totally ruined by poor ingredients and sub standard service. I'd give the chef his due ad he clearly knows how to cook and present but with lousy cheep ingredients what's he to do! read more

Our room made a constant noise we could not figure out where it was coming from, but it'd click on and off and would wake you up. Every employee at this hotel was so nice - from front desk to the restaurant to the pool staff to maintenance to room service (we used all the services!) They had an awesome playground and a kids bag with crayons and candy at check in. We stayed here and then drove to the park and ride which took us into Cambridge which was really convenient.

We went back to reception and they told us that they don't have a room for us whatsoever and the room that they had given us keys for was just a double room and not a two double bedded room. We were told no other hotels in the area had rooms yet we managed to book one ourselves online straight away 2 miles away. complete rubbish and get unless service.

To clarify I have not stayed at Wyboston as a resort or get away. I have always stayed here for business. I didn't use their meeting spaces though. That being said I have never used the golf course, driving range or spa. I have though ate eaten at the restaurant and used the gym facility. Overall the Wyboston is a solid resort/hotel. The rooms are always very clean, the staff is very proper, polite and helpful and the amenities are a bonus. Additionally their prices are very fair and have always been able to accommodate us. I will add one note, the last time I was there I mentioned that I was vegan and asked if they had anything else that I could eat for breakfast other than toast, fruit and potatoes. The and vegan sausages they heated up for me every morning and I was very grateful that they were able to accommodate my diet. I have not eaten at the restaurant in years so I do not recall what options they have but they do like all great places in the UK have a good cold beer selection and plenty of gin. Look forward to my next trip over.

Felix has better rooms - spacious and well decorated, excellent bathrooms with spacious baths, and the whole place 'feels' expensive. Its a good bet for one or maybe 2 nights, and is better quality than Hilton or Marriott. We paid the same as we do for Marriot/Hilton but that was with corporate rate. I suspect deals are available. As far as I can tell this is a genuine independent trying to establish itself. On the whole, its worth the £100-£130 per night and definitely makes a pleasant change from some of the more established chains that you might end up in when travelling on business.

We couldn't alleviate the heat by opening the window either as it was chained and could only be cracked a very tiny bit. Beyond the heat the bathroom didn't have a fan, so the humidity of the shower dampened everything and added to the stickiness of the room. There was only one tiny trash can for the whole room as well. Don't forget to bring all of your own toiletries as only hand/body soap is provided from a dispenser. The beds were very uncomfortable as well. Lastly, this hotel is about a half a mile from any sort of public transportation-although signs would have you think otherwise (luckily a friendly citizen told us the stop we were standing at hadn't actually been a stop for over 10 years after 15 min of waiting). Don't waste your money here.

This place has AMAZING customer service. The people at the desk were friendly and helpful and had answers for all of my idiotic American questions like, "How do I turn the lights on in my room?" Yes, guys, lights work differently in American hotels. When I flip the switch, lights turn on, I don't need a lesson from Hogwarts to make my lights work. In the hotel, the bar, the restaurant, and the room service all serve the exact same food at the same prices with the exception of maybe one or two items. And it's all pretty good! Like surprisingly good! The one star I've deducted was because there wasn't a mini fridge in my room. There's a mini fridge in EVERY SINGLE American hotel room. When the hotel bar charges me five quid for a beer, the obvious answer is to go to Tesco and get a six pack for five pounds. But wait, where do I keep it cold? Other than the fridge this place is great!
