So with the previous glowing reviews...count them (2), and not knowing anywhere else that suposedly…read moresells "high quality" Silk Accessories, I decided to go in and buy some "accessories". I don't like potting, planting, mowing, trimming or anything to do with gardening hence me going in here. Yes, Jerry was helpful, as he wanted the sale. I told him SPECIFICALLY that these "accessories" were to be in an outdoor enviroment and would they last in our desert heat/ wind. I was ASSURED they were of "superior" quality and they were not like the ones you find elsewhere that are so flimsy and would stand up to our extreme heat/wind/fading if I bought this UV protectant that 5he had behind the counter, so that's exactly what I did. (Lowes has it for $6 less a can) and sprayed the "accessories" accordingly. Total outlay, $485.00! So here we are 6 months later and they look like something you buy at the 99 cent store/Dollar Tree. Leaves faded/broken, discolored, and comming apart. YES...they "were" attractive when I bought them but, 6 months later and spraying them with UV protectant he specified to look like this? I wouldn't trust him as far as I could throw him. The "accessories" are of poor/inferior quality, and WILL NOT stand up to the desert heat/wind, no matter what he wants you believe, protectant or not. Good typical salesmen though...all smiles and laughter and tells you what you want to hear! Be warned

BUYERS BEWARE....My fault.. I didn't do my research. I didn't even look at these reviews. I focused…read moreon the business having to clear out before the lease is up. Also sign on the business door is posted, you will be surprised of how low our prices. The product looks nice and there is a lot to choose from. Jerry the sales person and maybe owner is very charming... full bread salesman. He does his part. Make sure you do yours. During my time there I had a notion to wait and review the purchase prices with my husband and to compare prices. Jerry spoke to my pride and I fail for it. After my purchase I realized I could have saved almost $200 for quality items of the same size. Unfortunately my receipt is highlighted "ALL SALES ARE FINAL." Hopefully after reading the review, I don't have trash after a few months.

Privately owned and what appears to still have a home property onsite, Moorten Botanical features over 3,000 species of cacti. Another unique component is the rare Cactarium which is a greenhouse featuring cactus and succulents. Admission is $7 cash or card and there is always staff available to greet guests. A paper map is provided post payment to help navigate the grounds. I recommend sunscreen as a majority of the viewing takes place outside and the sun tends to beat down. Onsite there are a variety of large tortoises in specialty spots enjoying their environment. At the end of the garden, there is a nursery where plants can be purchased along with gardening trinkets. For the value, this is one to not miss! I've been coming here for years since I was a little girl and I enjoy the fact that Moorten sticks to their roots and have kept the layout the same allowing me to feel nostalgia each time I visit. Thank you!!!
