The story behind the business is inspiring, and I was compelled to give them a try for my boys' haircuts. They were able to accommodate me for a last-minute appointment before Easter. The ladies were attentive to what I wanted for both of the boys and did exactly what I asked- their hair looks amazing! And I'll probably be going back for an appointment for myself!

I had a consultation beforehand which I hadn't had before at a salon, because I was considering coloring my hair. Highly recommend to have that consultation. She was awesome and walked me through different ideas for my hair. Due to time (on my part), after the consultation I got a hair cut and scheduled to come back a week later. She was awesome with my hair cut and style. Came back a week later and got a partial Balayage. Claire walked me through the process, and awesome to work with. The hair color came out so great, and I was so excited to find this salon and stylist. Unfortunately, found out a few weeks later she was no longer with the salon, so that was a big bummer. On the Covid front, felt comfortable and safe there. Everyone wore a mask and clients were distanced, except when you're hair was washed (but there were barriers).

Anyway, most of my visits to various Great Clip locations have not been that memorable. However, this one stuck with me. I walked in, and after checking in, I sat down to wait my turn. The next available stylist who was to cut my hair greeted me and asked me what I wanted. I explained what my usual hair cut was and she got straight to work. While not as talkative as other stylists I have had at Great Clips the discussion we did have, albeit brief was enjoyable and did not seem forced or awkward. Then again, I have never been one to be talkative while getting my hair cut. Towards the end, what struck me most, is that she did not give me a weird look when I asked her to completely remove my sideburns (I hate sideburns) and overall, she did a very good job. Up until then, my faith in Great Clips had been wavering, but this stylist restored it. Now if only I could remember her name!
