Once again I show up on time and they had given away my kids appointment. Waited 30 minutes and asked what the hold up was and they said of that the barber was a haircut behind. Why didn't they tell me that when I checked in? This is not the first time this has happened. read more

Jamie is exceptional! She just GETS it right every single time! We have never found someone that can cut our son's hair just right and she just nails it each and every time! We love coming in and catching up on life with her because not only does she remember you she treats you like family. She is fantastic with our son and he's always excited to go see her for a haircut! We just adore Jamie and if she has a spot open, take it... because she's the best!! read more

Yolanda really took care of our little man today! Initially, he wasn't having it, but she quickly was able to get him comfortable and gave him a fantastic cut! They have a play area in the back and tons of stuff to keep the kiddos occupied and distracted! Will certainly be back! read more

Hair stylist was so friendly and warm! Quick service and exactly what we wanted! We also bought a "stuffy" (stuffed animal) on the way out! read more

Place is terrible. Took my son twice and both kids the haircut was terrible. Like severely botch. Both times also was done by two different people so clearly it's a theme. Took my son to a real barber now with me and gets actual haircuts. Here's a tip, spend more than 4 minutes on a haircut. read more

I took my son here for his first haircut at 12 months old and again recently at 17 months old and the staff is just amazing with little ones. My son is not a chill baby, so I have no idea why he sits for them so well! The cool vehicles and magnetic toys help for sure. We will continue to use them! Yolanda and Kayt are the 2 I can vouch for! read more

When your appointment is kept it's a decent place for kids haircuts, key words being when your appointment is kept. The past two times we have had to be rescheduled from original stylist, which we have been flexible with. We have now had 2 rescheduled appointments, this time completely being cancelled at 10pm the night before, Dalia who I can assume is some form of ownership/leadership is defensive and rude when trying to figure out what is happening, since we were called 2 days prior to reassign our appointment then texted at 10pm the night before to fully cancel our appointment. Also 90% of the time they are booked with appointments and have turned away walk-ins so I would suggest booking an appointment well before you need it because between rescheduling and cancellations it could take a while to actually get a haircut. read more

We got a same day appointment and the staff was very welcoming and friendly. Jamie did a very good job with my 1 year old's haircut. My kiddo doesn't like anybody touching her hair , but behaved so well with Jamie as she engaged her well !!! The salon has a variety of distractions for kiddos and makes it an enjoyable experience ! read more

Least accommodating businesses I've experienced in ages. Scheduling and stylist availability on service day is a nightmare, and they revel in that, could be the most entitled business in CP. If you can handle front desk and overall staff sour and unaccommodating attitudes, then this is the place for you. Otherwise, stay away. For myself and the young one, we'll never set foot in this toxic storefront again. Count us out! read more

I brought my 2 year old grandson who is TERRIFIED of haircuts here. DANI was beyond patient and understanding. Although he fought like a wild animal the entire time she persisted with finishing the haircut while offering encouraging words to him. She is fabulous! His haircut looks good and I am grateful! read more

They really messed up my son's haircut. Absolutely disappointed with the hospitality and unwillingness to fix it.

Haricut was fine, but ended up being $51 for a 5 min haircut on an 18 month old. Not even my haircut is that much...

Love this location. Always clean, friendly, and on time. My daughter has curly hair and is sometimes a challenge to cut correctly but everyone here does amazing job with her. We even got to meet Santa here a few years ago! Very accommodating during Covid. read more

So over this place. We'll be looking for a new spot. You're just a number here, and while many of the stylists do an okay job, there are plenty that just hack at your kid's hair like they're supposed to cut in 10 minutes or less even though your kid is sitting still and quiet. The management/reception people are the biggest issue. They're fake, condescending, and unfriendly. I'll gladly spend a little more to take my kids to an adult barber than take them back here. read more

At first, I didn't like the front desk associate ... I was getting nervous which stylist we were going to get... over all, they were all great and had a unique method in calming the scared littles. They all were professional and patient. read more

Absolutely fabulous place for my 2.5 y.o. grandson. Mgr Jaime was THE BOMB!! She could sign to him, like heaven in a shop!

Good place, always filled with customers. Clean facility. Am going there for last 3 yrs at least. 90% times satisfied. Why 4stars: they have new stylists and last 2-3 visits have not been the same. They keep forgetting my specific instructions even though I repeat every time they start the cut. Still would go and recommend. read more

The worst customer service! Sent a. Es safe on this Instagram page- emailed- tried calling for two days and no answer. Finally made a reservation online and drove for 45 minutes- we arrived 15 late due to traffic and the response was 'we have 5 minute grace period.' Wow! The front desk lady was absolutely unapologetic read more

I RARELY write reviews but after my experience, I feel inclined to share. 1) setting the appointment was easy o line. 2) I called and spoke to Parker a few days before my appointment. I asked for an estimate of time the haircut would take. Parker was so kind on the phone and told me it would be about 30 mins. Sometimes more or less. This was dead on! We were in and out in exactly 30 mins. 3) Dani cut our son's hair. It was his first haircut. He HATED the buzzer, kept telling her no, cried a lot for the first half. After the buzzer was off he calmed down and enjoyed his lolly pop. Dani was so great with him. He is only 2 and she handled his difficulties like a champ. And to top it off- the cut looked so handsome. We will absolutely be back to this place for future cuts!! read more

My go-to place to get my daughter's hair cut. They've got fun toys in their waiting area, cool vehicle seats that keep her attention away from how much she hates having her hair brushed, and the gals are always great about talking me through what to do with her crazy whorl and cowlicks. read more

Have had really great experiences here. But don't be later than 5 mins or they won't work with you at all. Beyond frustrating god forbid your going to be 7 mins late - can't re schedule for a month so I guess my son won't have a hair cut for Christmas pictures etc. would be nice if a place for kids was more flexible read more

UPDATED Decided to give them another chance after reading some positive reviews after mine. I made an appointment with Jamie and she was wonderful. So quick and she knew exactly what I wanted and didn't make any rude comments like the last lady did. Will definitely be going back again after today's experience. read more

Great place! My son loved it. We went for his first haircut. He was curly hair. Great customer service!

We've been taking our kids here for several years. Sometimes getting a haircut with kids is unpleasant... You know how it goes. We've had the panic attacks outside the front doors. In all the years we've taken our kids here... We've never had an issue. The creative car and airplanes help. The TVs playing Disney flicks makes a big difference. My 8 year old talks about playing the play station game weeks after his cut. The kids literally squeal with excitement we we head here for haircuts! We've found Linda and the other stylist to be amazing. They're great with our kids, actively engaging in conversations with both the adults and kids alike! A+ read more

Pigtails & Crewcuts - Hair Salons Near Me - Cedar Park, Texas

We started going to Pigtails & Crewcuts over a year ago and absolutely adore it! We struggled through every cut at other salons with my thick-haired 3 year old, holding him down with tears on his part and disappointment in the result on my part. On a whim, I booked at Pigtails, randomly with Kayt, and we haven't looked back since. She is GREAT with my kiddos (and parents, too!) and I am always happy with the results. It's pricier than other family salons, but for us it was well worth the difference to actually ENJOY kid's cuts. My older son had been getting cuts with Dad at another salon and came home one day with a botched cut that continued to be made worse with their follow-ups to fix it. I took him to Kayt, begging her to help get his thin, cowlick-y hair back to normalcy, and within 2 visits it was grown out and looking better than ever! She has since made great suggestions on ways to deal with his cowlicks and has been so kind and patient to help us figure out the best cut for him, something that was never done or offered elsewhere. I have no doubt the other stylists are great as well! Everyone is always very friendly while we are there, but Kayt is our go-to girl...so if you're looking for a stylist, we highly suggest her. read more

We loved Kayt! She fixed my husbands poor hair cut on my 5 month old son! Very good with babies and loved the standard of care we received!

We saw Dani to get my 6 year olds ears pierced and she was incredible. They have the titanium stubs for highly sensitive ears. She helped my daughter feel calm and at ease, even braided her hair beforehand for an extra sweet touch. She was wonderful! My daughter didn't even shed a tear the whole time. Highly recommend for ear piercing. read more

Cute place with fast service as long as you have an appointment! Ignore that the website says you can walk in. Definitely schedule online. We tried the walk in thing a few times and that is a no go and my four year old cried all the way to the car! Nice (and fast!) cuts for both kids. No crying from the littles, even my two year old when clippers were used. The stylist gave him a train to play with when she saw he was bored. Kind people and good job. Pricey but you get what you pay for. Not too many toys either (some of these places are like an awful toy store but this was pretty mild.) read more

Awesome for kids and lots of patience with them as well. They are also fast and check in with the parent along the way to ensure they are getting the haircut you want each step of the way. Recommend you book appointment online as it's so easy and prevents long wait times - especially if you need to go on the weekends which is the busy time. Higher on the price scale but worth the cost for a good looking haircut for your little one. read more

It was very easy to schedule an appointment via their website. After reading some reviews I decided to schedule an appointment with Lindsey. Upon arrival we were greeted warmly by the receptionist and introduced us to Lindsey. I explained that my toddler might cry as he doesn't like me cutting his hair. But Lindsey being very experienced and a pro cutting little children's first hair was very patient and gentle. Introducing every tool she was about to use to him and let him touch and feel it first. My little son being very curious loved exploring each tool and let her cut and buzz off some of the mane that he had. Within 10 min he was done and came out with a clean and beautiful hair cut! The money is totally worth spending if that means my child will have a fun and great time while cutting his hair. His older brothers were jealous that he gets to sit in a cool car chair and watch TV while getting his hair cut! That's how much fun he had! read more

Best haircut our son has ever had. Engaging waiting area. Friendly staff. We will be back!

Receptionist was extremely rude, dismissing us upon entrance, and then tapping the desk hard to capture my attention in a way that I felt like running away from that place, it seemed she was upset that we were there, very weird for us being the first time in the place. I told her she was being aggressive to which she answered 'you weren't listening'. Yolanda the stylist on the other hand, was great, listened closely to how we wanted our son's hair cut and did a great job. The place is greatly set up for kids, to capture their attention and make it easy for them to stay still while their hair is being cut. Perhaps somebody more willing to be welcoming and nice would make of this a great place we would come back to. Yolanda gets 5 stars, receptionist gets 0. read more

Always quick and very sweet! These women are seriously ANGELS! How they manage to cut hair for wiggly little kids is beyond my understanding, but they do it so WELL! We love to see Miss Jamie! read more

Called to see about availability and about the stylists vaccination status. I simply asked if I could request someone that's vaccinated and was rudely told no. Small children can't be vaccinated and my son is too young to wear a mask. I don't need to know that everyone is vaccinated just to get someone that is. Pretty shocking disregard for the safety of children that can't get vaccinated. read more

Great experience for a toddler. Followed health guidelines without being aggressive and we had a fun time. Easy to book and confirm. We were in and out quickly but could have spent more time hanging out. read more

Horrible horrible service and haircut by Ashley. The stylist didn't even let my little one get settled in the chair. I was trying to put him in his chair and she started using the machine. I felt like she just wanted to be done with it, she had no patience with the infant and just wanted to get the dam task done. I was terrified the scissor is going to hurt my son. The whole haircut took 5minutes which is ridiculous when they have blocked their time for 15minutes and it wasn't even busy. I wouldn't recommend her or the place to anyone. read more
