You're not allowed into the orchard unless you have,and pay for a bag or two. Each person has to have their own bag which, I think is a little overkill. There are two different sizes, small and large. Maybe because it was late in the season the Orchards were pretty picked over. Especially the second Orchard Way in the back that you had to walk quite a ways to get to. There were no discernible good apples there. We were very disappointed. So we went back to the first fenced in Orchard. There are tables outside and two modern farmhouse type buildings where you can get snacks by donuts. They are both adorable. They have a beautiful little walkway up to the Orchard with a swing and a bench. We would go back. But I would probably go back earlier in the season. Nonetheless, the apples were absolutely delicious! Shadow to the employee who let us carry one small bag because of health issues. The first place that you go to to get the bags would not allow it. So, I just wanted to give him credit for being so kind.

We didn't realize that there were so many different varieties and we didn't realize how big this place is. We explored the orchard and took a look at all the animals they have. They have a beautiful little pond with a creek. They even have a bunch of farm equipment throughout the farm with information on what it is and how it's used on a farm. Really cool! They also have a really cool playground area for the kids! The staff here are really helpful and friendly. They have great apple cider and apple cider donuts and other treats! We are always early to everything and were standing outside with one other family. You would think…read morewhere the admission building is where you get in but it wasn't. We went in to the store and asked because it was after three and found out there is an admission booth further down on the field. We made our way down there and paid the admission and were each given a small bag to pick apples. Most of them were roped off except for the last few rows. In the way to that they had some really cute photo opps in a Zinnia field and in a sunflower field. The lady in the store yelled at my son in law for standing by a rope to look at the cider. Other than a few missteps, we thought it was worth the trip. The only downfall is there was no food to eat except for snacks. The donuts are only on Sat. And Sunday.

We were several adults and were approached by four different employees with instructions on how to hold our bags, how to pick, where to pick even though rows have colored ribbons to direct you. It might have made sense if we would've had unruly kids in our party but that was not the case. Honestly, it was just odd and not worth the 40 min. drive. So sad because I love their apples. I think if they're that uncomfortable with people walking around picking apples, they should consider becoming a commercial orchard and not open it to the public. Maybe it's coming from a good place of trying to manage their property but again, we were simply walking down isles. FYI: The apple cider donuts are fantastic so you could just go in their store and get them and already-bagged apples and save yourself the lesson on to hold a bag.

The flatbread had no flavor, or as if all the ingredients just meshed together in a blender and the crust was overcooked or cooked more than once? I was looking for any kind of flavor punch but it just fell flat (pun not intended). Maybe it was previously frozen as that would explain everything. But it was topped with some microgreens to look better than frozen. Can't really mess up fries, but I guess you can when you don't change the oil they're fried in after awhile. Felt like there was a fish fry on the fries minus the fish. The service and the atmosphere were all great. I would say if you go, go for the wine and atmosphere, not the food.
