It was pretty busy each time we went but never had to hard of time getting a drink. Loved the vibes here. Everyone was pretty friendly. I just loved how everyone would want to learn about me but it was never in annoying way. In America, I might of felt a certain way but here it always seemed genuine. Some dudes at the bar chatted me and up and I had to stop the conversation to ask them about a drink they had. I had so many drinks that I don't quite remember the name but I think it was Green Machine? Whiskey, milk and creme de menthe...? Something like that. In any case, it was delicious. The meat in the beef dip sandwich was super tender and was extra yummy when dipped in their gravy. The katsu burger was such an innovative way to transform a favorite dish, the tonkatsu sauce was to die for. We got several rounds of drinks as pictured, all were good and the staff made sure we enjoyed them the entire time we were there. Overall it was an amazing experience and I would definitely come back if I'm ever back in the area!

The space has all the character of an old Irish pub and we had high hopes for Courtney's, but sadly it was the one negative experience on our trip. Overall, disappointed. In the filling, both the steak and the kidneys were plentiful. My research completed, I probably wouldn't order it again; just give me the steak - no more kidneys please! Nevertheless I did enjoy and finished it. This was served with decent fries and a truly excellent green salad: a variety of leafy greens, radishes, cucumbers, pickled onions, and pre-dressed with a vinaigrette. The wife had the Beef & Guinness Casserole, served with brown bread. Along with steak there were also plentiful veggies (root vegetables and celery) and mashed potatoes in the center. She liked it. I tried it and agreed. I would get that next time. I had a Jameson Old Fashioned to drink and it was the best Old Fashioned I've had in some time. The unusually large twisted orange peel probably contributed and it may have had more than the customary amount of bitters. The wife's tea was amusingly served with a knitted "cozy" keeping the teapot hot. For dessert we shared a Sticky Toffee Pudding, served with vanilla ice cream, attractively presented with a dusting of sugar, whipped cream, and a ground cherry complete with its leaves. I'd rate it second among the three I've tried so far. Would certainly order it again. As for the pub I can't say.
