Looking for something different at Coffs Harbour. I was recommended Pig and Khai, a Filipino street food restaurant. Simple setting but clean and the staff were very friendly and helpful. We ordered a variety of dishes. Everyone enjoyed the sporting rolls soon raves about the Chic'n Cones. Fried diced chicken served in waffle cones. The pork, prawns and soft shell crab received compliments and was served with some fresh salad and soy beans. I had the deep fried pork knuckle and some seafood noodles. The pork was overcooked and dry and the noodle dish did not have much substance. I think everyone else enjoyed their meals and rated it higher. I would try again next time I'm in the area but my dishes were a little disappointing. On the bright side, the staff were extremely friendly and accommodating. read more
