There is only outdoor (patio) seating when we were there. However, the indoors was plenty big, so I assume that when the going gets colder (and after some rearrangement of indoor items) tables and seats will move inside. The place was really quite busy with locals (and summer tourists). The breakfast menu was a bit small, but maybe the offerings will broaden with time. We had a simple bacon & eggs ($12.50) with extra pesto and mushroom on the side ($4 or so) and a breakfast bruchetta with bacon ($17). The bruchetta was very nice (and looked great). The bacon and eggs was decent; the side of pesto/mushroom wasn't quite warm and a bit too oily. Coffees were excellent. Owners and staff were very friendly and cheerful. Happy place. We'd definitely recommend this place for a stop when driving north or south along the PH.

Cafe Treeo is a bright and buzzy cafe on the main street in Sawtell. Lovely greys and blues are highlighted in the exterior and interior look of the cafe. It's stylish in a comfortingly low key way that works well. The cafe itself sits nicely under beautiful street trees and it is terrific at a table outside on a warm day. I had the big brekkie which was excellent. You can't do it much better than how they do it here. It's a decent size. It's nicely presented. The poached eggs were absolutely spot on. The sourdough was great. There was a beautiful wagyu sausage. Spectacular mushrooms too. A good hash brown. A huge serve of smoky bacon as well. Two very lengthy and mighty tasty slices. It's a substantial and really enjoyable meal. My companions had the prawn sandwich which they both declared to be a winner. They loved it. To top it off, our coffees by three were excellent. Absolutely top notch coffee. Rich and delectable with fantastic length of flavour. The service from our predominant server Alex today was excellent throughout. The chips are equally amazing, hand cut potatoes from Dorrigo, a local town. In fact all ingredients are sourced locally. Most things on the menu are delicious and change seasonally. Coffee is good here. The cafe has indoor and outdoor seating and is kid friendly. Positioned near the river there's nice views and with plenty of sidewalk space the venue is quite a hub for locals to meet and hang out. They have regular music nights throughout the year. Service is pretty good but can be inconsistent. 5 Church Street is one of my regular places and I would highly recommend it.
