Our server was super friendly and gave us free bottled water which is normally not free. I think because they don't have a lot of people that dine in. We ordered a vegetarian pizza, a Margarita pizza and meat sauce with spaghetti which was served with the salad. Both pizzas were fresh and delicious. But the meat sauce spaghetti stole the show for me! The meat sauce was plentiful and flavorful with just a hint of sweetness. And the garlic bread, which I normally don't eat, was soft on the inside but crispy on the outside. We hung out for a while as we were catching up and our server did not rush us. She came to check on us frequently and wanted to make sure we were happy with our food. We had a few pieces of each pizza left but we killed the spaghetti lol! My friend I was visiting lives nearby and we all agreed we want to come back and share another meal!

The undercarriage was pretty good and had a nice crunch to it. It was difficult to really evaluate the sauce because there was so much cheese on the slices. I really feel like there was too much cheese to give it above a 7.5. I would say this is an attempt at a New York style pizza but had at least 3x the amount of cheese it should have had. Overall an average slice for the Jacksonville area. I'll give it a 7.0 on the one bite pizza review scale.

Well it was lunchtime and I happened to see the restaurant as we drove down US-17 so we flipped a u-turn and pulled into the parking lot. This is a very spacious pizza shop with plenty of indoor and outdoor seating as well as a beautiful bar. We were able to get seated immediately and greeted by our server who welcomed us and went over a few of the specials and menu items before taking our drink orders. We decided on the Buffalo Wings to start which are prepared in their brick ovens and never fried, honestly I was a little skeptical but they were pretty amazing and perfectly cooked, then drizzled with a delicious tangy buffalo sauce and sprinkled with a nice portion of gorgonzola cheese this is something I'd definitely order again. We followed these delicious wings with a pepperoni pizza, sounds simple yes but sooooo good the crust was crispy but remained tender and had the perfect chew, the sauce was really good and the pepperoni and cheese was delicious as well. We arrived about 11:30 AM and the restaurant continued to fill as we enjoyed our lunch - the staff here was very friendly and accommodating and the manger stopped by to thank us for coming in and to ensure everything met our expectations. This is definitely a place I'd return too when in the area, we loved this place...

We were visiting my brother from out of state and this was a must in his eyes and it didn't disappoint. I was told their scampi sauce was an absolute must taste too and it was amazing. The fresh garlic bread tasted like something out of my grandmas home recipe book. I ordered the traditional meat sauce and angel hair pasta. Surely if it was amazing I'd stamp my approval all over this place because it should hold up to my scrutiny and OMG wow!! Definitely as authentic as it gets. The rest of my family picked different meals and the nom nom nom's didn't stop nor did the wow's. The service was impeccable from the hostess, waitress and the live piano player. Very warming environment with a taste of actual traditional recipes. You won't be disappointed. I noticed they also have a catering area for receptions or large parties too so add them to your list for your next get together! Very very well done guys!

We had perfect table touches and everything was nice and hot (or cold) as it should be. Always love this spot - a true hidden gem in Orange park!

This one had that same light, refreshing feel but with even more flavor. It was hard to explain what I meant to my husband until he tried it and he ended up liking my lasagna more than the calzone he ordered! You can tell they make everything from scratch. We also got spaghetti and meatballs to go, and the sauce tasted so fresh. The cannoli was incredible. I used to make cannoli at a bakery years ago, and theirs had the smoothest, creamiest filling I've ever had. The staff was wonderful, and the owner treated us like an old friend. I decided and came for lunch today and I will say it did not disappointment like I thought it would. I'm always down to try a place atleast once. So let's get into this review shall we!? Upon walking in my husband and I were greeted by the hostess and you'll see a big chalkboard with their weekly specials. We were sat in the back by a window so it was nice to have a view. Everything looked good on the menu. We started off with shrimp and some oysters and the oysters were topped with collard greens and cheese they were good but the oysters were just HUGE! For my entree I had a shrimp po'boy with a side of the bacon collards again they were really good. My only issue is that for my po'boy the bread was not a roll but it was still satisfying. My husband had the fish platter with grouper and trigger fish with fries and coleslaw. We absolutely loved the grouper it reminded me of red snapper. However we will be back and I love a cutie, rustic looking restaurant.

I knew they were in the Mandarin area but wasn't exactly sure where but once we looked it up we realized how often we were in the area. We did come in on a Saturday Night so there was a wait to get in which was about 45 minutes for 2 but lucky Monkey's Uncle is right next-door so we grabbed some drinks there. We got our text that our table was ready and we walked over. Once seated our waitress went over the specials and I checked out the menu. They really have something for everyone and even some New Orleans classics. We of course had to get the New Orleans BBQ Shrimp since it's favorites plus it's one of their most popular dishes so it has to be good and you already know it was. The spicy butter sauce had so much flavor and the shrimp were cooked perfectly and the bread was great for sopping up every last drop of sauce. Being at Picasso's we also had to try a pizza and they have St Louis style which is have never had but I do love a thin crust so we tried the 12" The Gourmet Pizza which comes with Pancetta Bacon, Caramelized Onions, Brie, and Truffle Oil. This pizza was amazing and unlike any I have had. I will say the Brie will catch you off guard at first but this pizza is for sure worth a try. For my entree I went with the Fettuccine Alfredo and I added a Chicken Cutlet for $10. Let me tell you.... This might have been the best Fettuccine Alfredo I have ever hit it's that good. The Fettuccine Alfredo is made in house from scratch which is how it always should be done and the Alfredo is so flavorful. The Chicken Cutlet is also crispy, tender and flavorful as well.
