From their non-dairy Dole whip to flavored soft serves, their whole menu is absolutely fantastic! The only thing I would remove a half point for is the inconsistent pricing. There's no aftertaste to their ice cream like a lot of the other ice cream places in the county. Service is good, but sometimes the portions can be a little inconsistent, but that also usually depends on who's serving. It doesn't happen often though. The place is a little small inside, but they have chairs and tables to enjoy your treat outside. It may not be all perfect, but I will take their ice cream over anyone else's.

I was visiting friends in Nyack and wanted to bring something special instead of the usual bottle of wine or grocery store dessert. This turned out to be exactly the right place. The display case was filled with beautiful French pastries, fortunately, they tasted every bit as good as they looked. What really stood out was seeing so many locals hanging out enjoying coffee and fresh pastries. That's always a good sign that you've found an authentic neighborhood gem rather than just a place catering to visitors. BB

There are 7 sauces with enticing names to choose from - 2 come with the order, and from the 3rd on is extra charge. Our attentive waiter kept checking on us too see if we needed anything else. It's a small and cozy eatery, with artful decorations and antique looking yet comfortable furniture. When I first visited this spot two years ago, I took photos of their interior to send to a friend in Canada, who was preparing to open a small restaurant. She was very much inspired!

What an amazing find!!!!…read more The wife kiddo and I came here recently on our trip to here for their Easter festivities. It is located on the 4th floor of Palisades Center Mall, near Target, right outside where IHOP used to be. It is a small kiosk that serves Ice Cream and Italian Ices. They have a realllllly cool Ice Cream machine that mixes powder to Vanilla as it comes out. At least I think it is a powder, it could also be a liquid... They have 12 different options, I choose Banana (My Favorite!), the guy hit some buttons on the panel, and turned the handle, and my ice cream came out yellow lol! It was kind of a swirly White and Yellow, id say about 80% yellow, and 20% white. I got it in a cup. I don't like cones anymore, too messy lol! It came in a nice little cocktail cup with a wide top and narrow bottom to avoid as much leakage as possible. It was a very soft cream, and it did not melt fast at all. All in all, a great cup! I gave a few spoonful's to my kiddo, and he loved it as well. My wife got Rainbow Ice, and she enjoyed it. It was the same Ice that you get at Pizzeria's etc. Nothing crazy special. It also came in the same cup. Both were $5 each. We seemed to start a line, because after we paid, the line was 8 people deep! When we got there, we were the only ones there lol! There is some seating nearby. All in all, a really nice addition to the mall. They need more Mom and Pop stores like this. Great Ice Cream, Great Service! Highly recommend for Dessert!

THE FOOD ----------------…read more+ 99.9% of the food was EXCELLENT!!! + Picanha, Sirloin, Beef Ribs, Garlic Picanha, Lamb, Sausage, Bacon-Wrapped Chicken, Grilled Pineapple and all of the Salad Bar food was absolutely delicious. ++++ All of the mentioned pieces of steak were fresh, juicy, tender and verrrrrry flavorful. Also, the meats weren't very gamey at all, which tends to be my gripe with churrascarias. ++++ Grilled pineapple was to die for and the perfect way to complete our meal. Easily could have eaten 10 slices of this! + Salad Bar was surprisingly quite large with many different salads, pastas, rice, beans, maduros, soups and freshly sliced fruit. - The pieces of Filet Mignon were really the only disappointment as they were well done and just not very tasty. THE SERVICE ------------------- + All of the waiters were friendly and on point with their service. ++++ Very quick in clearing our plates. ++++ Refilled our water multiple times. + All of the gauchos bringing the meat skewers and carving up the meats were friendly and accommodating with letting us grab multiple slices/pieces of meat. THE SURROUNDINGS ------------------------------- + Supppppper spacious, clean restaurant with classy, modern decor. + Located on level 1 across from Cheesecake Factory. RANDOM OBSERVATIONS -------------------------------------- = We dined in at around 12:20ish on a rainy Saturday afternoon and we were the verrrrry first customers inside. In fact, there were only 3 other tables occupied during the 1.5 hours that we were there, so there were A LOTTTTT of empty tables. It was quite strange being the only customers in this large restaurant for a good 45 minutes, so they were bringing the meats out for just us! CONCLUSION -------------------- = Didn't expect that Picanha would be right up there with the best churrascarias I've ever been to, but not only are they up there with the best, but they MIGHT BE MY FAVORITE....ever!
