This place has totally gone downhill over the years!!! They're letting kids go to the Rio concert just for the money. No one under 18 should be allowed at these certain concerts. I recently went to micro wrestling, and it was horrible. The doors opened at 6:30, but the event didn't start until 9. People were falling asleep. Tickets were twice the price as last year. Regular beer is $9.00. They won't let you go to Bobby McGee's like before. There was a guy downing Budweisers, and he was intoxicated by 9:00. He was acting stupidly. He paid for regular seats but kept coming up front, recording, screaming, and getting in the way of the wrestlers, and security never said a thing to him. He was ruining my time, others', and the show! We left early! What a waste of money and time. We will never go back to Piers!!!!!! read more

went to sleeping with sirens concert in 2022 and had an AMAZING experience. crowdsurfed and got to hold the lead singers hand. safe pits and plenty of space to dance and headbang and MOVE in general. went to Sleeping With Sirens concert tonight and left after the main acts third song. bought tickets for my best friend as we bonded over sleeping with sirens when becoming friends in middle school, it was her first concert, and we couldn't access the restroom. the venue was SO packed we couldn't possibly get through and when trying to ask how to reach the bathroom and saying the crowd wouldn't budge we were told "sorry boutcha." 5 people at LEAST were carried outside to the patio where we decided to reside for what we did stay for before we left, before the main act even took the stage. this was so unsafe. either it was over capacity or the capacity shouldn't be 1500 people. do better. FWPD had a car outside. Saw a buddy and he said he bought a ticket at the door. Bands had to constantly remind people of pit etiquette. It was hot and people were packed like sardines. I do not recommend this venue to concert goers OR performers and recommend a band as big as SWS pick a safer venue next time 2022 was amazing but time for a bigger venue with a SAFE capacity. read more

FWPD Piere's Entertainment Center - Live Music and Entertainment I witnessed a Fort Wayne Police officer take topless photos of a woman in side of police car as did my 9 year old daughter, wife and inlaws inside of a fort Wayne Police vehicle.We have video of the entire encounter including the nudity to provide to command and officials..#FWPD. Concert was decent turn out .Big murph did awesome. Wife took kid home and went to Mexican nightclub next door,a lot of minors drinking and same officer was allowing it. Saw a few vested security taking minors out but never police. Police driving around lights and sirens in lot stating are you talking shit when more officers arrived .sickened by theses behaviors .I am with an outside agency and know this is Not acceptable and will be filing a complaint..Nudity inside of a fort Wayne Police vehicle ,NOT ACCEPTABLE #FWPD. If you just turned 21, you would probably enjoy the Piere's experience. There is plenty to do there and a different type of crowd for everyone. They even have a shuttle bus that will pick you up and drop you off. However, if you are 25 and over, avoid this place like the plague. read more

Recently saw Volbeat here in April. It's strangely located in a strip mall. And the parking lot can get very crowded. We had to park across the street, which was totally fine. But if you're coming here for a concert, be sure to leave early!!! Because we didn't lol. It's pretty big inside, but being here for a concert, it was packed. Almost no room to really move around. Didn't really buy many drinks as they're way too expensive. So drink beforehand! All in all, it was an okay place to see a concert. Nice thing though, is that you're really close to the band/artist you're seeing, so that's pretty cool. read more

This is the 21 year old's mecca for partying. It has about 5 different bar areas, each with a different theme. The clientele ranges from 21-50 and they are all dressed pretty casually (jeans). The drinks offered are full bar and huge beers from the beer tubs. The wait staff is usually attentive and it isn't too much trouble to order from the bar. Pierre's also brings in big name bands at least once a quarter for concerts on Friday's and Saturday's. Overall a great place to do some drinking and scope out the wide range of people in Ft. Picture your typical college town dance club. That's really all Piere's is. It's a very large, over-hyped club that is always over packed with new college kids who can't handle their alcohol and are looking for a hook up. Often referred to as "Dirty P's", you are likely to encounter any number of questionable and trashy situations while wandering around the venue. Sure it occasionally draws in some fairly big name national acts and you can usually expect to see the regular patrons like 'Mullet Man'. However, if you are over the age of 21 and looking for a good time there are better options in the Fort Wayne area for dancing and fun. read more

I just went to see a pop evil concert here, and to be honest, one of the worst venues I've been to ( and I've been to hundreds of concerts). We drove here from Michigan and it wasn't worth the drive. The band's sounded great, but everything else about the venue sucked. First of all, when I got in, I had to pee, which was weird when I walked into the bathroom and there were no doors on the stalls. Then I come back and found my friends ( which were right behind a pillar right in the middle of the stage so you couldn't see around it. And we were in the front praticly at the stage. My girlfriend said she wanted a bottled water, so I went over to the bar and bought 3 waters at $2 each. I gave the guy a $20 and he gave me back $14 all in singles and proceeds to tell me that they accept tips, which I wasn't going to give the guy a tip considering all he did was hand me 3 bottled waters. Back to the concert. There was a mosh pit that opened up during I Prevail( which I'm fine with) but the security guys were on the edge of it and it was really anoying because they were just yelling at everybody for moshing, which was a first for me.usually when a mosh opens up, nobody cares. Then during pop evil, the security inbetween the stage and the crowd was flirting with the chicks right in front of us the whole time while pop evil was playing. But they were like dancing with each other and goofing off with each other which was very distracting. Even the band were yelling at people who were getting into fights in the crowd because the security wouldn't. Long story short, I don't think I would personally ever go back. read more

I have been to 2 shows here, Korn in 2012 and Manson in 2013. The thing I love about this place is its small, and doesn't seem to be a bad spot to watch the show from anywhere, unless your height challanged and behind tall people. My biggest bitch with this place is the temp reached well over 90+ degrees at both shows. I know the AC unit probably won't do much with a packed house but damn, install some ceiling fans, put fans on the support beams, feeling like I'm in a damn sauna is not my idea of a good time. I expect it to be hot as hell near the front, but the back being just as hot and nowhere for relief until the show was over and you went outside when it was 80, and it felt like winter! Get some better ventilation at this place and you could have a couple more stars! read more

One of the worst experiences I've ever had. We arrived a little early to the event, and stood outside in line, which is fine. However, there was a sign stating that the doors would be opened at 6. This did not occur as we were told they couldn't find the keys to get the door open. We were patted down, carded and I had my purse checked; which is fine, except that there's no way he saw anything of what I actually had in my purse and my mittens and huge wallet were on top of anything else. Don't send me through security as a pretense! It doesn't make me feel safe at all. Tickets were 32 dollars apiece. That's alot of money for our group of 6. We arrived inside the club and couldn't find any seats that weren't marked VIP. The event was supposed to start at 7, but didn't start until 7:30. Our waitress was rude, didn't know what beers they had available and frequently disappeared. The beers that we ordered came back to us 2/3rds full. When we commented on it, our waitress shrugged and said "I don't know, that's what they gave me." We were lucky to be able to sit down for the event, as there were hardly any chairs available, so I'm glad we were able to at least sit down. However, people were allowed to stand in front of us the entire night. If you wanted to be able to almost see, you had to stand on your chair. My last complaint is the restrooms. I felt like I needed to be dunked in Lysol after going in there. The carpets looked as if they had never been cleaned, and panels on the doors were broken. Clean the bathrooms! At $32 dollars a ticket, I know you can afford that! My friends told me that they only go to Piere's once every ten years and every time they remember all the reasons they don't go there. I actually use to go dancing there esp in the zone. ppl will tell you they hate it but you end up seeing them there. the capacity is pretty big. the main floor has a stage and there is rock band. to the right is the zone and they play dance, r&b, hip/hop, to the left i believe its called v club and they play rap, r&b..u can order chicken wings there. its pretty good. to the back they have a pool area and its more of a sport bars section. up stairs there is a patio now and in the inside some places to mingle or watch the rock stage. its a pretty happening place but now i think ppl go to the early birds... been a long time but i use to have fun. you can take a limo to flash backs and columbia st. if your too drunk the pieres van will take you home if you live locally..i haven't done that but i've had friends who have if they were stranded lol..good ol times! read more

Pieres is very cool Venue overall. Parking leaves something to be desired at the more popular shows. I've been to about 6-7 concerts here now, making the drive from Lafayette. One of the few places bringing the good rock bands to Indiana. The sound is usually pretty good, the set-up is good and there are several satellite locations to get a drink, if that is your thing. My biggest gripe, security tend to be complete pricks. I realize that drunken jerks make the job a handful sometimes, but if someone isn't being disprectful, don't be a dick. read more

It actually wasn't as bad as I thought. I've heard only but bad things about Piere's, but when I went there, it was pretty decent. It's not for everyone though. If you like laid back and classy bars, don't go to Piere's. It's exactly the opposite. It's really an adult playground. You can pretty much do whatever you want, except fighting obviously. Alcohol is really cheap on certain nights. I will probably end up going here again sometime. read more

Had a great time at this place! My husband and I went to see a group called Down, they are one of our very favorites!! And it was terrific! We was on the floor the whole time and when the crowd got a little to rowdie the security kept a good eye on everyone and if it got to ruff they stepped in. It's a good place to see big acts the sound was good and the atmosphere was very fun. A big plastic cup of draft beer was $6.00 not sure the cost of mixed drinks and during all the shows they had about six servers walking around with a tray of shots so they kept everyone drinking. We attended the A.F.A. #8: RESOLUTION cage fights on January 21st, 2012. I was really excited for this event as I am big fan of MMA and enjoy watching it on TV but hadn't attended a live event before. Unfortunately I was completely disappointed with this events and regret going. I spent well over $100 for me and my girlfriend and we were unable to even see the fights. This will be the last event I attend at Piere's. Facility: We got there a little early so we could get good seats. It was pretty cold outside, in the low teens, and they weren't able to open the doors on time because they couldn't find the keys. When we finally did get inside we found that 90% of all the seats were marked as either "VIP" or "Reserved". When we asked the staff where the non-VIP seats were they had no idea. Since we were one of the first ones in we were lucky enough to eventually find some. But they turned out to be useless as people just stood in front of us and and made it impossible to see. We had to resort to standing on our seats but this only helped slightly. I don't believe anyone outside of the VIP sections could really see. There were also posts that obstructed our view. It's possible Piere's is a decent night club, I don't really know, but it's completely unsuited for a sporting event of any kind. Staff: Our waitress introduced herself as our "half-assed waitress" and that turned out to be pretty accurate. She had no idea of what kind of beer they served and when we tried to open a tab she had to check with her manager because she wasn't sure if they did that or not. Food: The menu was pretty lackluster. We ended up getting some nachos and chili cheese fries. The nacho cheese on both of them were completely cold as if it just came out of the fridge and they didn't even bother to heat it up. Price: The tickets for the event were $32 each, which seems pretty pricey for local fighters. It especially wasn't worth it since we were unable to see the actual event. You could get large cups that were half filled with domestic beer for $5. If you wanted an import it was $6 for about 6 ounces. Event: In addition to opening the doors late, the event itself started about 30 minutes after it was scheduled. The fights seemed OK. They were about what I was expecting. I just wish I could have seen them better. read more

On the upside, they sometimes bring major musical acts that you can experience up close and for less than what you would see in at a major venue. On the downside, the level of service is all over the place depending who is on duty. Sadly, the good bartenders are usually on duty during the week and on the weekend it is anyone's guess that will tolerate working those shifts. Drinks other than a bottle of beer feel watered down. The acts they have are either "up and commers" or "has beens". I went to one concert for an "up an commer" where they tried to give away and encourage everyone to come to a "has been", which was a real downer. On the other side, a "has been" that had not been popular in 20 or more years was priceless...depends on the act and personal preferences. Also, if you want to take any pictures, even if it just you and your friends partying, be sure it allowed if a particular act is there. Although there was nothing posted about taking pictures, I had a member of security take my camera and threaten to kick me out for taking a picture of my date at the time. read more

Went there for the first time for an ICP show last December with a DD and another buddy of mine. Everything was going fine up until the moment I stepped outside for a cigarette. I sat down on a bench and joked and laughed with some fellow juggalos that were outside. Cops were there. Not really sure why exactly. Apparently the guys I was talking to had gotten removed or kicked out of the venue. Whatever none of my business. When I tried to go back inside that fat security guard stopped me and told me I wasn't allowed. I asked him why and he just ignored me I'm assuming he thought that I was with those guys I informed him that I wasn't and that the people I came with were inside. Best he'd let me do is lean up against the wall inside the building by the door like some school child that got in trouble via association with trouble makers. Never got to see ICP at my first ICP concert after being a Juggalo for 20 years. Ended up sitting on a bench outside the venue for 2 hours in the cold with no phone or way to contact my friends till they came out the door after the show was over. Spent over 120.00 dollars getting tickets and gas to see ICP for the first time live and got boned by a fat security guard on a power trip stuck out in the freezing cold all because I smoked a cigarette and talked to some fellow juggalos. So much for my Christmas present to myself. read more

My Name is Ben, I am the owner of Ben's Economy Taxi in Fort Wayne and I find it highly irresponsible of the owner's of Piere"s to allow their staff to way over serve their patrons and then expect us to clean up the mess. They scheduled two concerts this weekend and didn't notify any of the local taxi services that they were no longer running their free shuttle. That used to hep us at the end of the night to deal with the many very intoxicated patrons that came from their bar. This weekend we had at least 2 incidents related to their customers in which the FWPD were called either to remove a very drunk patron from our vehicle or to argue with paying us saying, I thought this was the Piere's shuttle which is free. Unless something is done to show that the owner's of Piere's intend to be more responsible concerning their patron's we will have objections to serving their clientele. read more

Piere's is a large place with a great sound system. The bands I have seen in the last few years are talented but seem to always be the new type of band that has a singer that growls the lyrics. rather than to actually sing them, which I despise more than rap. I guess that's what college kids like nowadays. I remember years ago seeing Joan Jett, Black Oak Arkansas and other great bands that used to come through Ft Wayne, but I never see any bands like that any more. Usually a $5 cover any night but the drink specials are good. Upon entry they pat you down like you might be a gangster, which in this place you may be. If you walk outside for a cigarette and come back in they have to pat you down all over again. They have 3 bars in the building and you can walk back and forth between them. One bar where all the college kids go with a sports area in the back with TVs and game machines. There is a Karaoke bar and there is the main stage area. If you walk upstairs you can play pool or go out onto the balcony and look out onto the parking lot. Table service is usually poor and you may as well give up and walk up to the bar right away and get your own drink and save yourself the aggravation of trying to find a waitress. They do however have a lot of pretty women who walk around selling test tube shoots for a buck, which is OK but my complaint is that they come up to you every 5 minutes asking if you want one. The shot girls are not waitresses and they won't get you a beer. I would rate Pieres 2 stars but I really like the sound system and I think they try hard to have entertainment of some kind every night. read more
