He was calm, kind, and answered every question I had without making me feel silly. I even asked him about collarbone dermals, and instead of trying to upsell me, he suggested I wear stick-on gems first because I'm clumsy. That kind of honesty says a lot. My septum piercing was quick, barely hurt, didn't even bleed, and the placement is exactly what I was hoping for. I love it. Kelly made the whole experience feel easy, and I'll absolutely be back when it's time for my jewelry change. Thanks for making my first facial piercing such a positive experience!

Service: 5/5 Ambiance: 5/5…read more My friend made an appointment with Nathalie for the 3 of us to get piercings. We showed up at our appointment time and were greeted right away by Nathalie and Edna. They were very informative about the process and the jewelry they sell. We let them know what piercings we wanted and they were able to show us the earrings that went with each of our piercings. Once we chose them we signed our waivers, which had the price of the piercing listed. While you do this they create their sterile field but sterilizing everything including the earring(s) that you chose at the beginning. They even let you visualize the jewelry with a transparent sample stick on the area you are choosing to get pierced at. Edna pierced my ear and she is amazing. She made this experience great for me and I told her I was a bit nervous since I haven't gotten a piercing in years. We talked about the anatomy of my ear and she assured me that the pain would not be too bad (she was right! Lol) She helped me choose the spot on my ear and then vocalized what she was doing from start to finish and at the end of the day I felt like the process was easier than I made it out to be. They have a one time $25 fee + the fee for the piercing + jewelry you chose. Prices seem reasonable to me! They have promotions as well if you keep coming back. All in all, pleased with my experience and would come here again! Super cute too because they let you choose a sticker at the end and the one I chose made my day.

I went in as a walk-in to ask for some dumb favor (needed my septum ring changed out and already had my own jewelry and it required pliers). There were two guys. One always lied and one always told the truth and they guarded two doors. Just kidding but there were two guys and one had kind of friendly midwestern dad vibes and the other one the piercer seemed like he was experiencing the worst person he'd ever met when I showed up and who knows maybe I was the worse person he'd ever met. anyway he was as nice as he could muster and extremely professional and prompt and very very good at his job and I would go back for a ton of real piercings absolutely 10/10 also it's near a great bookstore, also they do have a little "no crybabies" sign so bear that in mind if you're a crybaby.

I was honestly pretty hesitant to write a review but I really feel the need to do so. I'm not sure…read moreif it was because of how I look, where I don't LOOK heavily pierced but I have my fair share of hidden piercings, as well as a dainty stack on my ears. I recently moved to the area and prior to leaving my previous town, I had a VERY talented body mod artist that I've worked with extensively and Ive gotten more than a couple things done with him. I was in his shop probably once a month getting new piercings or purchasing new jewelry. I am not cheap with my jewelry. I spent probably about $950 in jewelry alone this last visit to him. One of the piercings I got done on my ear, I must have hit or something because it was starting to swell and the post was a bit too tight in the area that it was swollen. I was simply looking for a longer post. I called in the morning and the guy on the phone was nice and said I could swap out the post no problem. The reviews online seemed great so I thought, sure. Let's stop in. The guy at the front was nice but didn't really have an idea of what I needed and had to ask a guy in the back who was less than friendly. Barely said a few words. But whatever, that's fine. I can deal with that. What immediately threw me off was the fact that this shop carries externally threaded jewelry. If you're not aware, a simple google search will teach you that this is basic piercer 101 - NO EXTERNAL THREADING. All they had to offer me was such, which blew my mind because you're trying to offer me with my freshly wounded, freshly pierced piercing a piece of jewelry that without a doubt was going to damage that area even more. Have whatever brand jewelry you want, but wow???? That's so unbelievably alarming that that jewelry is even being offered for sale at a "legit" piercing/tattoo shop. You can get the same type of pieces from Hot Topic or Claire's. I can't speak for the tattoos done here but run far, FAR away if you're trying to get pierced. 2 stars because the guy on the phone and the guy at the front were very nice.

My house is fully decorated with her images and my phone and watch also cycle photos of her angelic face. When I was in L.A. last spring, several artist at Venice Beach were offering specials for simple tattoos. Unfortunately, the combination of limited time and an inability to research the shops kept me from getting art. Coming to Vegas, I thought this would be another great opportunity to get a solid tattoo for a reasonable price. I called and emailed shops and 2/3 wouldn't quote me unless I sent them scale artwork. I explained there is no artwork, I want her name and the years she was alive. That was a total of 12 characters and I envisioned her name taking the space of a fortune cookie fortune and the years combined taking the same. Simple, easy and the only factor was the font, but again, I'm agreeable. The two shops that gave me quotes basically told me, "No problem, but our shop minimum is $175-$200. Your work sounds like less, but those are the prices". Now if Koolsville can do a $10 tattoo, certainly something of my scale should qualify for a discount. When I reached out to Illuminati, I was told the shop minimum was $100 and I was encouraged to come in. Lou took excellent care of me. He not only gave me the 12 characters for the shop minimum, but he touched up an existing tattoo of mine for no charge. Come on bro! If there is such a thing as a tattoo lottery, I WON IT. I now have my angel on my arm and received the warmest possible welcome to Las Vegas. This appears to be a shop that will earn your business, your positive review and trust. In general, I'm not a tattoo fan, but I will happily tell anyone I know headed to Vegas, if they are in the market for ink, look up Lou.
