Hef was really rad and responsive when I found the Instagram stories showing that they were doing some quick sale when we were young tattoos which I had been putting off for a couple years. I ended up booking with her unofficially since they were first come first serve and got two with color through her. Both came out really rad and were very fairly priced for the size and color. The price she gave me in terms of rain was about a hundred bucks each but of course I tipped her as the work was great and she made it as painless as possible. I'll definitely go here if they have other flash sales for things that I like as well as it's the first tattoo and shop in Las Vegas that I've used since my previous ones were done in California read more

My piercer Nate was super nice and traveled from another shop to pierce my navel, however I was given a small bar which was an issue apart of my healing process. I am a bigger girl and I also didn't use the right cleaning solution at first but regardless, I had a 11mm bar and I switched mines out myself to a 14mm because the ball started embedding in my skin. It's healed great with the right solution. I wouldn't go again because my navel was $80 and other places I could've gotten it cheaper with better care to my body anatomy. I ended up paying $100 for my piercing for having buying my own things to replace it and the original price in total. I feel if you just need to speak up about the things you want here or it's going to be whatever they want and not what's going to be best to you. read more

Decided on a last minute septum piercing on a Saturday afternoon & Illuminati Tattoo came through! We were greeted by Dras who pulled out the paper work & took care of all the piercing info & executed it beautifully! You can tell he knew what he was doing. Dras was experienced & professional! The shop is definitely a busy one & there was a constant flow of customers & it looked like they were able to accommodate everyone who walked in. My septum piercing was virtually pain free. I sent Tee a variety of ideas to mesh together to customize my foot tattoo. He was honest and advised me rather than just doing what I wanted knowing it would not turn out how I was dreaming it would. The location is easy to get to and is Near Fashion Show Mall. The environment is friendly and clean. They don't take appointments but there were several artists there so we were helped immediately once we arrived. Great experience at Illuminati Tattoo. I came in with 3 other friends and we all got different tattoos, but all on the smaller side. They all treated us well from start to end. A mean a gaggle of middle aged suburban moms came barreling in, in the middle of the days and no one treated us like we were (are) morons. Tyler did all our tattoos. We all gave him ideas and then he drew them out. I liked that he didn't want to just do something someone else has done, as he doesn't want to steal other artists work. So even for our little "mom" tattoos, he still took us seriously and drew cool designs for us. Super awesome experience. Thank you to everyone at Illuminati Tattoo. Dude who was there was extremely rude with his responses. I've never been to a tattoo shop where they wanted you to pay up front before seeing what it's gonna look like I've always had amazing artists who wanted me to be sure I'd like my tattoo and the placement of it. I just wanted 2 words If the shop is closing soon and u don't want to give your Customer service skills 100% (cause you're tryna go home) just say you're closed and not tryna take the extra time to help anyone anymore lol Anyway, the sex shop next door was cool and the customer service was amazing. 2 friends and myself had been talking about matching tattoos for sometime and decided to bite the bullet. Looking for a shop that was still open and took walk ins we came across Illuminate. We were greeted by Cheyenne who was so nice and friendly. After he drew up the tattoo and we picked our sizes he then stated that Brad was going to do two of the three since my friend was also going to get a retouch done on a previous tattoo. Brad took myself and my friend to his station and just seemed uninterested in the whole thing. I get it, 3 girls coming into a tattoo shop for matching friend tattoos at midnight is what dreams are made of, right? We weren't obnoxious, we were just happy that we found somewhere to do them and realize this probably isn't why these guys started doing what they do but hey, we are still paying customers. He finished my friends tattoo quickly and slapped some covering on her and it was my turn. After what seemed like 3 minutes, he got pizza delivered and said he was finished. While we was getting his pizza, I looked at my tattoo and there were parts missing, lines not connected to other lines and it just wasn't finished. When he came back I told him and asked for him to fix it, "oh ya I see what I missed". It's not like it was a large tattoo, and this is something that is permanent so I would have appreciated a little more effort. He spent about the same amount of time "fixing" the tattoo as he did initially doing it. I am now left with blown out and messy lines. My friend also had a huge air bubble in her saniderm and was starting to bleed and it just looked real awful, she asked Brad if he could just switch it out and he refused. On the other hand, my friend drew the lucky straw when Cheyenne tattooed her. He was attentive and made sure to tell her he was taking his time because he wanted it to look great. Her tattoo was A+, chefs kiss, all the things. Even the next day looking at all our tattoos together, you could tell the difference between the artist who cared and the one who just wanted our money. It was super disappointing. I will say that this place was very clean and the artist do take great care in sanitation which was the only silver lining for my experience. Long story short, if you come here ask for Cheyenne because he is a delight and will take care of you. read more

I went to frank for a tattoo thinking I was about to embark on a meaningful, spiritual journey of self-expression. What I actually embarked on was a psychological thriller directed by someone who once saw a tattoo machine in a YouTube ad and said, "Yeah, I can do that." First of all, this man's studio looked like a storage unit that lost a custody battle. The "vibe" was somewhere between abandoned dentist office and haunted vape shop. There was a single folding chair that sounded like it was begging for mercy every time I breathed. Now let's talk about the tattoo. I actually had to take a lap around the studio because WHAT DO YOU MEAN THAT'S ON MY BODY FOREVER AND IT'S PERFECT??? The lines are so clean they look AI-generated. The shading? So smooth it feels illegal. The placement? Spiritual. Cosmically aligned. If I stand at the right angle I'm pretty sure it unlocks inner peace. I keep catching myself staring at it like it's a new pet. I have shown it to strangers. I have adjusted my outfits to make sure it's visible. I moisturize it like it's royalty. If it asked me for rent, I would pay it. The pain? Worth it. The adrenaline? Elite. The emotional attachment? Concerning. This tattoo has changed my personality. I now say things like "yeah, my artist..." as if I've been part of an underground art collective for years. I have zero chill about it. If you make eye contact with me for longer than two seconds, I will show you. Five stars for talent. Five stars for making me question reality. I walked in mildly nervous and walked out feeling like I had just been branded by a mysterious but benevolent art deity. Would I go back? Absolutely. Would I understand him any better? Probably not. We found ourselves here the night before our flight, as I'm not one to trust a super cheap shop. Tony was amazing. I wanted to fit into the theme of north arrows but I didn't want to be literal as I already have a compass tattoo. I'm from Oregon and wanted a stalk of lavender and a bee. Tony understood the assignment and made it so artsy I can't stop looking at it. I'm not sure if I asked for an arrow, as I was exhausted from being out as sober support for my other surveyors after hours, but there is a shape of one with the bee and flower. I traced the lines on a photo because I am that professional and so my qa/qc . I truly love it! The whole appointment was a wonderful experience and now we both have a bee tattoo. I never get spontaneous tattoos and I'm so glad this worked out so well. I doubt I'll do it again unless I find Tony! I'll likely find him/travel if I get another larger tattoo in the future. Also, I want to note he was very respectful and aware I was a child of trauma with issues and a fidget toy. He not only watched for any buddy language, but also empathize with me in his families life experiences. Easiest tattoo experience I have had and it erased a "bad" experience relating to another tattoo artist, though their work was also very good.
