I went to my second Friday the 13th event at Pierced Hearts in February (June '25, February '26) and got my left tragus done. Both gold and silver jewelry are available, with a variety of prices ranging from $30 to +$100. Friday the 13th events are always very busy, because the piercing service and jewelry is on sale. The line moved slow, which is to be expected, and I was seen around 12:30 inside to fill out forms, pay for the jewelry and service, and was told to expect about an hour wait. I left the shop (they do call you when it is getting close to your turn, so leaving is no problem) and went to enjoy other local midtown businesses. Unfortunately, the wait was closer to three hours. I went back to the shop around 2:30 to check on wait time, and was told about another half hour. Friday the 13th events are always busy, but having a more accurate estimation of wait times would have been helpful. I talked with the ladies who had been in front of me in line earlier, who had been called and were waiting for their piercings when I went in at 2:30, and expressed frustration around the incorrect wait times. The piercing service itself was done very well. She had a calm demeanor and was very knowledgeable. The shop was very clean, and the piercing was done quickly. However, only having one piercer on staff for an event does make for long wait times, so transparency about time estimates would have been helpful. read more

This has became my go to piercing shop ever since they opened. The staff here are overall amazing and very knowledgeable. Most of my piercings that I've gotten done here has been by Beanz. Very fast and made the whole experience feel easy. My piercings have healed perfectly, compared to other piercing shops I've been to. This shop offer a variety of jewelry and there's a price list on top of the wall as soon as you enter so you know what you're signing up for. Staff here is always super friendly and the environment looks/feels sterile (definitely something I was looking for in a piercing shop). I've been here twice now. Was assisted by Danielle both times. She's been kind & very helpful both times! One of the times was for removing a melted plastic backing on a screw-back earring. So thankful they could get it off for me otherwise I think I would have had to go to urgent care to get it off! I'm not someone who gets a ton of piercings but I have this place saved in case I want more in the future. Also their prices are reasonable (imo). I would highly recommend this spot! read more

I have gotten my navel pierced at another shop before and I ended up having to take the jewelry out because it was obvious that any snag would pull the jewelry completely out. I've always thought that maybe I just did not have the anatomy for a navel piercing. I walked in and told the gentleman this story - who seemed very knowledgeable and told me that they would take me back to look and see if I had the anatomy. They ended up being able to pierce my navel perfectly. They were honest and answered all of my questions. When I wanted a floating navel, Danielle (the piercer), took a look and instead suggested a regular navel piercing because of my anatomy. I just appreciate every person I interacted with there. I really enjoyed my experience at Pierced Hearts! Since moving from New York, I've been looking for a new shop to get piercings done. I looked on Yelp and Google and saw that this shop has 5 stars and awesome reviews so I wanted to give it a try! I booked an appointment online beforehand and there were many slots available even for it being a Saturday. There was parking close by and the shop is really cute and clean! I was greeted right away and immediately the woman helped get me set up and answered some questions that I had. I could tell she was experienced and I appreciated her help, and she wasn't pushy at all about the jewelry I wanted to get. She also didn't push the saline spray on me to buy right then and there, and was very nice explaining where else I could buy it if I didn't want to buy theirs. I was also given a pamphlet with aftercare instruction which I appreciated! She also was very open about if I needed help in the future, to just stop on by. I told her I was worried about one of my piercings I was getting redone, and she even explained a silicone tab thing that could help keep the bumps away if that does occur. I appreciated her listening and she was very nice! The piercing experience was comfortable and easy. I got my 4th lobe holes done and one helix. She made me feel as relaxed as I could be and it went by fast. I'm really happy with my experience here and would definitely go back again! read more

A bit of a late review, but I really wanted to give praise where it's due! I came here on New Year's Day to get my septum pierced and had such a great experience. From the start, I was greeted by Vince, who made me feel super welcome. I let him know this was my very first piercing, and he was incredibly thorough--explaining the whole process, what to expect with healing, and all the aftercare steps. He reassured me that I could reach out anytime if any issues came up, and he also provided pamphlets with extra info, which I appreciated. They sell saline spray for aftercare, but Vince wasn't pushy at all about buying from them and even suggested other places to get it if needed. My septum is sitting nicely, and healing went really smoothly. They also have tons of jewelry options to choose from! I'll definitely be coming back for more piercings. read more

My navel piercing seemed to close and I couldn't get another ring in. My bf and I came just to check out the shop, and I asked if they can repierce it. Dale and Vince were super nice and professional :) They assessed the piercing first and advised that it didn't really need to be repierced just tapered to get the ring back in. They showed me what jewelry they had and it was honestly hard to choose, they have a lot of good stuff and they were very knowledgeable of their products from their vendors. I was taken to the room where they do the piercings and it felt very comfortable and clean; did the tapering for me and there was really no pain at all. I'd definitely come back for another piercing in the future. Located in the midtown/downtown area of Sac, so parking can be hit or miss, but we didn't have any trouble. read more

I was recommended to bring my one year-old daughter to get her ears pierced after spending over $500 on their " top quality" 14 karat gold earrings. After making an appointment, they decided to take in walk-ins. My daughter and I waited over an hour and a half to be seen and then needed to reschedule. When I rescheduled and went in the second time, she got them pierced and a month later, the jewelry broke. They are not willing to accommodate what obviously was defective jewelry. I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND. You can go somewhere else where the price will be better and actually be willing to help there customers. If I could leave 0 stars I would. read more

I normally go the bay area to get pierced but one of my flat back earrings fell out and I needed a professional to put it back in. I'm so glad I went to Pierced Hearts! The staff is very professional and friendly, and the shop is very clean. I paid $10 to have my jewelry put back in, which is standard pricing. I'd much rather pay a professional to do it than try to do it myself and mess with my piercing. I also got two hoops for my nose piercings. I really appreciate that the jewelry prices are listed next to the jewelry. There's nothing worse than falling in love with a piece only to find that it's way out of your price range. They are very clear in communicating their pricing. I didn't get pierced today but will definitely be back in the future to get a new piercing. The owner, Vince was very kind and informative. He gave me a few styling ideas for my ears. He also told me that I can browse the vendors listed on their website and request Pierced Hearts to order a specific piece. The typical turnaround for an order takes about a month. I love that I can order from a trusted vendor. They are a relatively new shop, and I'm so happy they chose to open up in the Handle District in Sac. Parking can be tricky in the area, and almost all parking is paid parking. They take appointments and walk-ins. I'm excited to have such a great shop with affordable (titanium) jewelry as well as high end pieces. read more

Had a pretty messed up piercing from a different place that needed to get fixed up. Danielle (hopefully I'm spelling their name right) was extremely helpful and gave me all the run down that I needed for aftercare and worked with me to try to salvage what I have. We were looking for a place for my daughter and two friends' (9 and 11 years old) first time ear piercing. We were recommended by another mom to come to Pierced Hearts and am are so glad we did. We first met Vince who explained the whole process and the cleaning. He was thorough and professional and showed that this was a well run professional shop. Then we had Danielle and Dale who did the actual piercing and they were also amazing. My daughter was very nervous and they really put her at ease. Discovered this piercing shop today as I was walking around midtown with my friend and we are both SO glad we came in! We were immediately greeted and the owner Vince was very welcoming and patiently and knowledgeably answered all of the questions we had about jewelry and piercings. My friend ended up leaving with a new lip piercing and I left with a new stud for my nose. Everyone else in the store was incredibly kind and a pleasure to speak to. This shop is exceptionally clean inside and the vibe isn't intimidating the way some piercing shops can be sometimes. Something that stood out to me was how they took about 15 minutes to sterilize our new jewelry- something I haven't experienced at other popular piercing shops in Sacramento. I had a great experience at Pierced Hearts! I went in for Friday the 13th deals and I got a conch piercing. The jewelry was really pretty and you can tell that it's that good quality stuff. I was a little nervous cos I haven't had a new piercing in a while - but the counter staff person, Vince, was super attentive and answered all my questions. We went through details on cleaning and taking care of the piercing, so I knew exactly what to do to help with the healing process! The environment was very minimalist and welcoming. Also it smelled amazing in there?! (I need to figure out what scent they used in the shop) I've already recommended so many of my friends to come here and so far, 5+ of them have come by. This is the place to go for top notch service! My daughter wanted a navel piercing but due her body mechanics the piercer said she wouldn't recommend it. Danielle was so sweet and explained the healing and aftercare process not just to us, but my daughter as well. Right when I was walked in I was greeted and went over what I needed, shop was clean and organized. I needed a new piece of jewelry put in as I had previously taken it out a couple years ago.
