DO NOT GO HERE. FIRST OFF THEY DONT FOLLOW COVID GUIDELINES, they don't even wear a mask during piercing or tattooing . SECOND, I was charged $120 (no tip because Hell no) for a tiny heart tattoo and a small letter . One letter . THIRD. My tattoos are FUCKED this looks like a child just drew it up and it doesn't Make sense because (obviously him being not experienced or just not a good artist he had to draw up a heart and the letter) and they looked fine on paper. I don't know what the hell he did to fuck it up so bad but this is CRAZY if you can't even tattoo A HEART or a STRAIGHT LINE you need to STOP! This is a whole mess! And if you come anytime after 8 they'll be hotboxing the shit out of the shop so if you don't feel like sitting in a room of smoke while you get tattood don't come. I do not believe they are even licensed .

DO NOT GET ANY TYPE OF Piercings here!!! This place is terrible I asked for a straight forward three set ear piercing and they couldn't even do that. The first time it was crooked so they told me to come they would fix it and again the piercer pierced the wrong place. Now a couple of months later my era has two red boils on them and hurt so bad. Also the earring they gave me turned Green! I took them out now my ear has three random. Crooked holes. They also don't give your money back for messing up. Never will I recommend this place to someone.

Got both tattoo's at Ballerz Ink done Pablo aka dirtydiamondz916. Not done with all what Pablo has started, he is very light handed person Not heavy at all. Good at his work that he does, if you looking for tattoo's or pierce's come to Ballerz Ink..

I got my first nose piercing here just yesterday. I didn't have to schedule an appointment, I had just walked in and they made everything quick and easy. Simply read and signed some papers and then I got my piercing. The guy who pierced my nose really nice and chill(and I was very close to chickening out) but he made me feel very comfortable. This was my first piercing ever and it was a great experience! I barely experienced any pain other than a pinch, which is what he told me in the first place. Very happy with my nose piercing, thanks again!

This is an example of the work they do at ballerz ink. I will never go there for another tattoo or anything else for that matter. I've never had a tattoo heal (scar) like this in my life. Not to mention the ink fallout. I want to another artist and they asked if the background was supposed to be blue uh no the ink was supposed to be black.

So my first review was nice and all until my bf's tattoos "healed" horribly. His B tattoo looks like a prison tattoo. I enjoy Kat as a person but she really did fuck it up this time. This is horrible. It looks unfinished & sloppy. We will be going elsewhere to get this fixed.

This was my first time getting a tattoo and I loved how Kat reassured me it wasn't going to take a long which it didn't the tattoo work only took 5 minutes! The only thing I didn't like was that there were few people that came in after me to get a piercing and the artists helped them first because it was faster but it elongated my wait time. I had to wait about 1 hour and 30 minutes till it was my turn.

Another, great experience with Ballers Ink!!!!! I called in, because of course tattoos and piercings take time.. I came in for a cover up, and was greeted, by Kat and Pablo who were very friendly and helpful. They helped me and a friend find exactly what was best for us. Joker who is a Amazing and Seasoned Artist did another Great job on my tattoo. While my friend was inked By Kat, who also did a Great job, on their tattoo.. I'm super happy with my new body art

I walked in to get a tragus piercing. It was 65 for both ears with jewelry included. The lady who did it was really nice and professional. She greeted me as soon as I waked in the door. The shop wasn't busy so I was able to get in and out.

What I asked for (right) what I received (left)... WARNING: DOES NOT LISTEN TO CUSTOMERS!!!!!!! DOESN'T EVEN LOOK THE SAME

A guy named Joker used to run this place. I got a tattoo that I loved. I even referred 4 friends! I came back a few months ago and there was a new owner.. I should have ran! I showed him my design and told him I want EXCATLY this pic.. he put it on the computer and before printing it, wasted 30 min cutting and editing the background of the pic.. I'm assuming to not waste ink when he prints.. finally he printed it. And then told his employee to trace it.. I was nervous but the employee told me he was so good that he does tats on peoples faces.. I told him to trace the pic EXACTLY as it was.. I came back, and it looked small.. they transfered onto my back.. it was small, but I did not want to wait another day for them to retrace it.. I agreed... He began.. I should have ran! He kept asking me if I wanted shading.. I said again.. just do as the pic.. when it was done, i wanted to cry.. it was nothing like the pic and he colored it all in!! It was supposed to be an outline!!! Now I'm stuck with this ugly thing on my back for life! WARNING: DOES NOT LISTEN TO SIMPLE INSTRUCTIONS!!!!!!

After healing. I have other hand and finger tattoos I've had for years that healed perfectly and still hasn't faded.

Terrible place for piercings. Pablo pierced my Medusa. I already had it pierced before years ago at another shop and I liked the spot it was in the first time. The spot looks like it's the right spot but it's angled wrong so the back of the labret is in an irritating spot. Everyone knows that after you do a piercing you put a longer labret to give the lip room to swell so the flesh doesn't swell over the labret. I told him that it wasn't long enough but he insisted it was. My lip did exactly what I told him it would! It swell so tight between the labret. It was so painful. I went back to get a longer labret. Pablo was busy doing a tattoo so a lady helped me. She didn't tell me she was going to put in a larger gauge!!! You don't make those kind of decisions for people. The labret was longer but it was also thicker which meant it was going to stretch the hole making it even more painful going through my lip. I'm glad I looked at it before she did it. I told her I didn't want to go through that pain and that I w the same gauge but just a longer labret. She told me they didn't have any the length I needed. So that let me know Pablo knew they didn't have the right jewelry for my piercing but he still did it for the money instead of worrying about the pain I'd experience. So now I went threw extra pain from my lip swelling over the labret and I have to spend more money buying the right length some where else! Update: the hand tattoo Pablo did is also looks bad after it healed. I don't want to go back there so I will have to pay another artists to correct his work. I also took the Medusa out because I couldn't deal with the rubbing. It also made my procheilon look bigger because it was right at the tip. So I will have to go somewhere else to get it pierced

Fast forward to Christmas Eve, I text her and said, "Let's go the day after Christmas. No excuses." I searched for a tattoo shop with good reviews and found Lucky Buddha Tattoo. Since it was Christmas Eve night, I couldn't get ahold of anyone (understandably), so we decided to just try our luck the next day. The shop is located off San Juan and Madison, which can be a busy area, but there's parking right out front... huge win. When we walked in, we were greeted by their apprentice, Sophia, who was incredibly sweet and welcoming. We explained what we wanted and hoped we could get it done that day. Our original idea was to place the tattoo on the palm area, but Sophia was very transparent about how ink usually doesn't hold well there. She suggested an alternative placement that still worked perfectly with our vision. After discussing the price, we decided to go for it. Luckily, she had availability right then and there. She was so patient, making every tweak and edit we asked for without hesitation or attitude Absolute gem. While she was designing, we hung out up front and got some unexpected puppy therapy! their sweet pit bull wandered over and decided my friend was her chosen human. She jumped right into her lap and chilled, which was especially adorable since my friend is normally scared of big dogs. Instant icebreaker. The entire vibe of the shop was warm, friendly, and chill. The owner even came out and chatted with us for a bit, which just added to the good energy. Once we finalized the design, Sophia got to work. She had a gentle hand, and each tattoo only took about 20 minutes. We walked out beyond happy. the tattoos came out perfect, and the experience was even better. Thank you Sophia, for your awesome work! I'll definitely be coming back for my next one.

The building itself has a really cool history, and the inside of the shop looks incredible. You can tell the owners take a lot of pride not only in the space, but in the team they've built. Eli Rushing was my artist, and he took me as a walk-in. I came in wanting to get my newborn son's footprints tattooed on each side of my Tree of Life. We bounced around a few ideas and landed on a design I was really excited about. Eli absolutely nailed it. We had great conversation throughout the session, and once it was done, I was genuinely blown away by the finished piece. On a whim, I also asked if he'd be willing to touch up some faded Hawaiian islands I have on my other arm, and he didn't hesitate. He was happy to do it, which I really appreciated. The pricing was very fair, and I tipped well because I felt he absolutely deserved it. That was fully my choice, just based on the quality of the work and the overall experience. Everyone coming through the shop was friendly, talkative, and welcoming. Even the shop hand stood out--she was constantly making sure the artists had what they needed and was great with customers. You can see why this place has won so many awards. The shop and the artists absolutely live up to that reputation. Thankfully I live less than a mile away, because I'll definitely be coming back for future work. Thanks Eli and thanks Honeymoon Tattoo for such a great experience!

first, I'm going to say Ross who works at this facility is an awesome tattoo artist. I took my…read moredaughter to see him and he gave her her first tattoo. I also have a friend who has received a few tattoos from him. He was fair, culturally appropriate, and made the experience enjoyable for all involved. I arrived to my session 15 minutes late (different artist) However, the tattoo artist did not pull me back until 45 minutes after my initial arrival time. The sketch he showed me the day before ended up being the final draft, when he put the stencil on me and of course I did not like it, I vocalized it, as I sat in the chair, thinking we'd have a conversation about changes... he began to reprimanded me like I was a child!!! I have six tattoos, I have never been more offended, walking into a place to work with a person. It's like he was trying to get a rise out of me (not who I am, sir) When I tried to approach it maturely (asking open-ended questionsand for clarity), he continued to make it inappropriate and uncomfortable (in front of others and attempting to adding colleagues to the discussion) using the excuse of "this is permanent, then I have a family to feed, and last you seem unsure" as his way out of doing the tattoo as opposed to just telling me he didn't wanna work with me. I felt embarrassed, vulnerable, rejected, and dismissed by this man... I have never cried at a tattoo parlor previously, and I will never be back to this one. He said that he was trying not to make my experience worse!!!!! While making it the worst experience I have ever had... he was culturally inappropriate, passive aggressive, and he was clearly offended by my dislike of the sketching he was using as a final draft to put on my arm. Even when I showed him another version of something that I wanted, he made a big deal out of it and then started talking about time. What an inconsiderate human... I even tried to leave him the deposit I put down for my tattoo because of his need to feed his family. Fortunately, they gave it back to me. This is my truth it is valid ... the end... how many black people do you see in the photos (many???) and when you are the owner asking people to be on your side of course they will they work with you dude. Be real

This review is solely for artist Alex K. I booked 2 tattoos…read morefrom her flash tattoo sheet and sent a $50 deposit via IG. The appointment was booked for February 17th. The tattoos were for a fan and a bow. The fan approximately 3x3 and the bow was gonna be about 2 in. I got to my appointment and Alex arrived about 10 minutes past our scheduled time. Although she is very nice and polite, I think that part of showing professionalism as an artist is being prepared for your client. I still had to wait another 20 minutes for her to partially set up. I still felt comfortable, we talked about both tattoos and she said she would start with the fan. I do want to point out that I asked Alex if she was ok with tattoing the fan on my inner bicept area where I have soft somewhat saggy skin due to weight loss. She said it wouldn't be an issue and we got the stencil placed and she began. Alex wasn't interested in having a conversation with me, she was having conversations with the other artists which is totally fine. I'm not the most talkative and I do not expect artists to hold a conversation on top of working on a piece of art. After about 2 hours, I noticed the pain was increasing but I was ok with it (I have over 20 tattoos all over my body so this isn't anything new to me). Once I glanced at the tattoo, I noticed my skin was raised and very red. I believe Alex is still an apprentice so she had another artist come and check the tattoo after the 3 hour mark and that artist advised her to stop on that tattoo since the skin was very red and tender. Alex said we would do the bow on my next appointment and for the fan I'd have to wait about a month or so to continue the tattoo. I was totally ok with that even though it's something I've never experienced. Fast forward to March, Alex sent me a message on IG asking if I wanted to have the tattoo finished by the shop owner Mari. I told her that if she felt comfortable finishing it herself, she could. She responded with availability for the last 2 weeks of April which didn't work for me so I asked for the first week of May and she has yet to reply. For context, my last message was sent April 13th and today is May 11th. At this point it's clear to me that she doesn't care about half axxing a tattoo. I'm now looking for another artist that will finish my tattoo. Although this review is for 1 artist, she is a reflection of the shop. I will not be back here.
