Pierced Ciderworks is a small, unassuming lil cider brewery located off the beaten path near downtown Fort Pierce. They have great ciders, and weekly specialty flavors! It's a cute cider campus filled with a funky brewery/main bar room, and a huge outdoor patio area and stage. They have weekly events, including bartender bings (Wednesday), live music several nights a week, yappy hour on Sunday for pet people, and our favorite Monday night yoga class with Margee! Service is always friendly and casual, and they have a food truck on-site. They offer cider samplers and even have cans to take home. They offer a small beer selection as well! We'll be here regularly for the foreseeable future... especially for yoga nights!! read more

Trying to discover places in my home town. I saw an event notice about Boozy Bingo at a place called Pierced Ciderworks. I have never tried hard cider, i like bingo.... Off i went. The staff is friendly and real down to earth people. They will happily mix siders for you if you like the flavor of one but maybe it's too strong or too sweet/sour, they will mix another with it. I loved my mix; they listened and cared. The patrons are always willing to socialize, making this a great place to visit with or without someone. I was visiting the area however if I lived there, this would be my hangout place. They have amazing live music, I met even more great people outside talking and dancing. I'm always up for visiting a new cidery. I actually found Pierced because I knew I'd be passing by Ft. Pierce, and was looking for breweries to try I'd not been to or otherwise overlooked. Cider it was! Don't get me wrong, I love my beer, but the choice was one of going to a brewery to have yet another stout, or going here to check out what looked like a cool list of ciders on tap. Breweries are a dime a dozen, cideries, not so much. I'd honestly never even explored Ft. Pierce much. It's halfway between Miami and Orlando, and at that point in the drive I'm usually getting really bored and just start mashing on the gas to get to Orlando or back to Miami quicker. It is an interesting place in its own right - it has a different feel to me than South Florida, or even Central Florida. Pierced is reflective of this. Aesthetically pleasing wooden buildings, small taproom with a nice bar, spacious coquina-shell beer garden with a stage for live acts and friendly locals both working the bar and drinking at the bar. I got a strange but not-unpleasant Low Country-meets-Key Largo type vibe. It's a fun place to hang out. It would be even if the cider was only average. However, I really enjoyed the ciders I tried. First I got a pour of a strong watermelon cider with a chili rim. Great stuff. It packed a punch at over 9% ABV, but I couldn't taste it - very easy drinking. Next I had a grapefruit rosemary cider. This one is probably not for everyone, but I loved it. I wanted to try at least 5 more ciders on the menu. Next time. Note that even if you're not in the mood for apples, Pierced does offer a nice list of local beers on tap. I will definitely be returning. read more

Pierced Ciderworks opened as the first cider brewery in the Treasure Coast in 2018. It is in the former Sailfish Brewing Company building in the Edgartown portion of historic downtown Ft. Pierce. Sailfish brewed the first craft beers in the area and when they needed to expand they moved down the road paving the road for Pierced to come in and take over their old digs. The name of the Ciderworks is a play on words of it's location in Fort Pierce. Pierced Ciderworks used Sailfish Brewings concept of taking two wood frame houses from the early 1900's and using one as a brewery and one as a tap room. The look of the taproom is industrial with a 20 seat copper penny bar, metal floors, steampunk gears, and pipe work. The cider is made by fermenting apple juice after which sweetener and flavor is added. There are ten flavors to choose from plus beer and wine. I chose the Coco Loconut which was a tropical coconut paradise in a glass. Other flavors offered included Purple Drank, Pear, Margarita, Cream Soda, and Bad Apple. As I had a long drive ahead of me I could only try the one but I was definitely intrigued by the other flavors. In addition to seating in the tap room they also have outdoor picnic tables and corn hole. The place was kind of empty on my early Sunday evening visit. I was hoping to find some of the live music other reviews mentioned. The cider was wonderful and I liked their Facebook page in order to get updates of when they have events. I will be back the next time I am in the area. read more

They make their own hard cider flavors from apples. We got the cotton candy and the peach habanero flavors. There is a mural by the bar showing all the steps from how the cider is made from the apple tree to the bar. They have beer available too. I liked the cider. The cider we got ranged from tart to sweet. But they let you sample your choice first before you buy a glass of it. Oh em geeeee. This little adorable, rustic tropical cider hideaway is such a nice place to visit! It's in the cute area of downtown fort Pierce. I love how the building itself was 100 years old and it's got an amazing outdoor hangout area with an even cooler indoor area to grab some beer and sit on a stool by the bar. The service was friendly and prompt. And there wasn't any food being sold but the ciders were exquisite and delicious. All that you can ask for as a beer lover. Last week, I made my way to Fort Pierce with my lady to check out Pierced Ciderworks, as they were hosting a little event, which was well put together. The cider is very good, well made, lots of variety. I was very impressed with not only their selection of ciders but distinctive in flavor and character. Some ciderworks may have a variety of ciders on tap but can't discern one from the other. Pierced does not have this issue. The Key Lime cider I had was delicious along with the Banana Hazelnut and Smoked Apricot. Formerly the old Sailfish Brewery location, which is a historic bungalow, the taproom is gorgeous. I am always a fan of taprooms that have a rustic boathouse vibe with Edison lights. Pierced's holds a good number of patrons without feeling too crowded between the bar area and the mezzanine sitting area. Additionally, they have a very large back yard area to hang outside if it's not too hot and humid. The particular Saturday we went was gorgeous. Situated near the coastline doesn't hurt Pierced patrons who want a little sunshine and can receive a little breeze while they sip on their cider. read more

This is an excellent place to "get away" in the heart of Fort Pierce. The back area is tree covered and pleasant all times of the day. Stumbled upon this cider bar online. It was the first time we were doing a cider tasting and have to say it turned out really great. The place is tucked away from the busy roads. We opted to taste the 40z which is 4oz each of 10 ciders.. I loved the coconut and the water melon the most. They had plenty of outdoor seating and games. There was also a nice food truck on the property where we could order food. There was train track nearby and there was a good trains pass by while we were there.. Service was great. Came here while visiting FL with some friends. I work at a craft cidery in Indianapolis, so I'm pretty picky with my cider. We did a flight and tried almost every cider on the menu. I liked most of them! They have a lot of creative flavor ideas and most of them work pretty well. Some were a little too sweet, but that's more of an American style and less of a European approach. Bar inside felt a little crammed and outdoor seating was nice until it started pouring rain. The umbrella didn't do a lot to protect us. Still was a worthwhile experience, I recommend you stop by and try the ciders! read more

Super cool place in the old Village. I will freely admit I am not a cider guy but this place is a must see. Great decor and back yard with Jenna and baggo for a relaxing afternoon. Super helpful bartenders and great feel at the bar. Clientele were very engaging also. We went full throttle and we both ordered a flight of all 10 of their ciders. Some were delicious, others not so much but everyone has their preferences. Something for everyone and if you're too chicken to explore ciders, they sell some local beers also. My wife and I were on our way to Pompano and had to kill an hour or 2 before arriving. Always in the hunt for a good cider, I found Pierced and they were open on a Monday at noon!! Bonus. Online menu looked good so we headed over from 95. And are we glad we did!!! Thanks he selection of ciders was substantial and after a flight, the quality was exceptional. We were greeted by Ian who was more than happy to answer a barrage of questions about Pierced and the ciders. The layout and decor is incredible. All repurposed items and laid out with intent thought and a strategic plan. But the ciders.... Wow.... Just wow.... The Coco Loco was singularly worth the 10 minute detour from 95. I have dropped in a couple of times now; my first visit was great, really chill vibe and a good selection of drinks. The last time I visited I went with friends, and some girl with dreads and nose rings was working the bar and immediately gave off a snobby, mean girl attitude that was really off-putting. I wanted to give her the benefit of the doubt so we sat down and each had a beer, but after our 2nd pour we decided we would not be staying any longer, or returning. I left almost embarrassed to have brought my friends to this "cool place" i found a while back, that ended up making all of us feel unwelcome. Definitely don't see any of us going back. I've been in Florida a little over a year and I have yet to find a Cider Brewey that is anything like Pierced Ciderworks. Their focus is ciders! They have great cider flavors, are always creating something new, and appear to take pride in what they do. They have an amazing little bar, with great bartenders, a nice outside area to hang out and listen to live music. Their bathrooms are usually clean and have a cool salt scrub for you to wash your hands with that leaves you smelling good, moisturized, and clean. They are DOG FRIENDLY! The bartender even brought my dog a bowl of fresh water---TWICE! I bought 3 growlers and filled them with cider and even bought some of their salt scrubs to take with me. I like their T-shirts, but unfortunately it is literally the only thing priced waaaaay too high in the whole place, so I've never bought one. It's about 113 miles away from Miami, but I make the drive on weekends whenever my wife and I are in the mood for some great cider or if they announced some live music will be playing! read more

Cider heads unite! A flight here will pack you a variety of ciders with varied tastes that are sure to please. Usually, I'm used to seeing a few ciders listed at breweries but this place spins it and focuses solely on varied ciders as their main attraction. I was totally enamored by the charming interior as it's located in a historic bungalow directly in the heart of Ft. Pierce's scenic downtown district. The outdoor area has plenty of seating and we were also able to catch a live guitarist playing some nice tranquil music. I'm so glad I found this spot. I ended up trying so many ciders that I've never seen elsewhere making this a solid spot to scope out some fruity renditions on cider. They also sell beer but I'd recommend sticking to their specialty. The interior is decorated in a very minimalistic form focusing on their preserved and historic decor. It's such a cool spot! Stopped in on a whim since we aren't really fans of cider. We know a few people who work there so we thought we would give it a try. I now like their cider. Forgot what flavor I tried but it was pretty decent. The interior of the tasting room is decorated with old pipes, lots of steele and is very rustic as well as industrial looking. Out back is a really cool stage for outdoor concerts. There's a few mushroom statues so I'm thinking that's their vibe for that space.
