I had total trust in Shannon, as did one of his high school friends, my friend. Shannon was to come and pave their driveway in a few different places to repair it before winter. He was paid upfront in cash and was never heard from again. He avoided text and phone calls, even when told nobody is upset just give us a refund and we'll call it a day. So he kept saying that he would be there, and never came. Not only did he not show up there, he went to Florida. Which seems to be a habit we learned that he had, after having to call some other paving companies to get the job done that he had already been paid for in full. He said his equipment was broken down and he would fix it and come back. According to those same phone calls he has no equipment, and has taken money from quite a few other individuals and went, wait for it ... to Florida with their money as well. This was done to a dear friend of mine who was actually very good friends with Shannon since high school. I myself have known him since we were eight or nine years old. Not only am I disgusted by this, it breaks my heart to see someone that could be successful do such terrible things to people by giving his word and stealing their money. He has no idea how much stress and Financial burden he has put on a family, that I care very deeply for, by his selfish actions. Bad business is one thing, Karma is also. BUYER BEWARE!!

Which was fine because he was offering to do more than the others, $250 to seal my driveway. The other quotes were around $190. Shannon is the man I was dealing with. We agreed he would pressure wash the driveway, use a special solvent to get up oil stains and then put 2 coats of sealant down. Two counts only if it was needed. They showed up and my wife calls me and told me that the driveway hadn't even been swept and definitely hadn't been pressure washed and nothing was done to get up oil spots. The installer told my wife the sealer they were using had the solvent built in to get up the oil. (Yea, sure it does) To make long story short, I respectfully told Shannon over the phone that he needed to come get his stuff and leave. I no longer wanted them at my house. Not because they are bad people because I'm sure they're not but only because the job wasn't done as promised. They had only sealed a couple feet out from the garage. But sealant had gotten on my garage floor and trickled on the grass. A portion of the driveway had also been "burnt" off. While talking to Shannon he assured me they knew what they were doing and he asked me what I did for a living (after questioning his practices) I thought it was rude to say that. His last thing to me was asking me would I still be interested if he pressure washed, cleaned up the oil and sealed. I told him absolutely not. I'm sure these are good folks, they've been in business for quite some time but this time around, they missed the mark.

Very pleasant man, easy to talk to. Still he had to set up the appointment and drive across town so I don't begrudge the price. I'm always looking for a handyman that makes me feel safe so I would call him again.
