This review serves as a follow-up to our original review regarding our pool restoration project. We…read moresincerely hope that no other family experiences the frustration, delays and lack of professionalism that we encountered throughout this process. Our restoration project began with AquaPros in February. After months of delays, repeated excuses and unmet commitments, we were finally able to part ways once our pool liner was ordered and ultimately installed this month. Throughout our experience, we were repeatedly given inaccurate timelines, misled regarding the status of our project, charged for additional services that failed to deliver the expected results, and, most concerning, were met with an unprofessional and confrontational response from the owner when we attempted to address our legitimate concerns. The most important issue we feel prospective customers should understand is AquaPros' definition of "FULL SERVICE." According to the company, this terminology refers only to labor performed. However, after paying our invoice in full, our pool was far from fully operational. It was not clean, chemically balanced or functioning as a completed project would reasonably be expected to be; we literally were left with an expensive, concrete POND. Thus forced to hire a true professional to finish the work, restore the water to a crystal-clear and balanced condition, and ensure the pool was operating properly. During that inspection, the independent professional also discovered that our pool skimmer was cracked or, at minimum, that the damage had gone unnoticed or unaddressed during the liner installation process. This resulted in yet another unexpeced repair following what should have been a completed restoration. Prospective customers deserve complete transparency regarding what is and is not included in the services they are purchasing, so they can make informed decisions.

As we left, a women ran and opened the door offering to help us. It was too late at that point after we were tacitly ignored for nearly 20 minutes. A waste of time for us. We will not return and have found another business in town who helped us find exactly what we need. They understand customer service. Ferguson most certainly does not. The very first time I visited this store was when I needed to make copies of some keys. I remember…read morehow well I was treated. Since it was my very first time shopping there I was invited to become a member, downloaded their app, and did so and the keys ended costing me almost nothing for using a coupon one of their helpful employee gave me. But what I remember the most is how well I was treated. Since then I enjoy visiting their stores for most of my hardware needs. After being awarded the NC Triad Yelp Squad Yelper of the Year 2024 Award at the Yelpies Award Ceremony last year, an event that honored the highest-performing Yelp Elites, celebrating their contributions and accomplishments throughout the year, I decided that this year, as an All-Star Yelp Elite, I not only wanted to be the first to discover new restaurants and businesses, and bring them to the attention of the public, but also to uncover those found in hidden paths that for one reason or another have not reached the public in its totality. And this ACE Hardware Store on 2303 Williamson Rd NE, in Roanoke, Virginia, is a perfect example. ACE ultimate goal is "to be the most helpful hardware store for customers, offering quality products and convenient shopping experiences with expert advice." Through personal experience I have found out that their employees go the extra mile for its customers. And they have such a variety of products, that throughout the Seasons I like visiting the store because you never know what you'll find there. Anything from pumpkins to local honey during this time of the year. As a matter of fact, the other day I had to make a gift of local honey, and here is precisely where I found it. As soon as I walked in a friendly young lady greeted me, welcomed me to their store, and made herself available to help me find anything I needed or was looking for. I could see why their slogan "ACE is the place with the helpful hardware folks," was very true indeed. As I walked through the store I was amazed at all the different products they had in such a limited amount of space compared to places like Home Depot and Lowe's. And their prices if you add the excellent service you get are not bad at all. The service they provide is extraordinary. I read in one of their ads that if you purchase one of their large barbeque grills they will go out to your house and put it together. I invite you to view my photographs accompanying this review to get a better sense of the place and give them a visit. It is by supporting local stores like these that we can show our appreciation for their service and the great contribution they make to our community.

He goes into details and is able to back his words. Decided this is where we would buy our set. The online store takes a second to figure out as far as which mattress to choose. Its a little tricky for me because, I'd rather be at the store and test them out. This company is too far away to do it. I called to the store and the owner helped me with questions and was really nice. You can tell he really cares about people. I took a chance and ordered the middle firmness. It was easy to put together but I didn't have a good night sleep for about two weeks. Seems like my body needed time to adjust. I do feel like I needed 1 level softer but after the 2 weeks its been fine. Hubby went hard core ultra firm and is absolutely loving it. I plan on ordering the topper which is essentially 1 individual layer you can buy a la carte. I definitely recommend this mattress and if you have a chance to visit the store, even better.

The employees working in the outdoor garden area kept looking at us like we were going to steal something. We literally had a credit card out and were clearly shopping. They continued staring at us the entire time, and honestly, it made us feel really uncomfortable. I know we're young, but we've been to plenty of stores and have never felt so judged or looked down on. I understand employees have to keep an eye on things, but there's a difference between being attentive and making customers feel like they're being treated as suspicious just because of their age. I probably wouldn't recommend this location to younger customers based on our experience. Hopefully, the customer service improves because the flowers were actually great.
