There are a lot more for the younger crowd than other parks around the area. The go karts and batting cages are a nice addition. There's a parking lot right behind and next to the park, so no searching for parking. There's a waterpark across the street, Runaway Rapids. We can't wait until the summer to go. It's so much fun. They have some great slides and features.

When we arrived, everything was up and running as if it were daytime. All the games, rides and attractions were in service. I rode Go Karts for the first time in yearrrs and I actually came in first place. Me! That was dope. The BIG FUN though was all the water rides. Lazy River, pool tubing and the main pool were all open and full of people ready for a great time. We were treated to a DJ who understood the crowd assignment and shoutout to the most wonderful staff. All employees on this night were in a great mood and they gave party vibes too. The promoters didn't over sell this event, so crowds and lines weren't a problem at all. I had such a blast that I wasn't even mad about getting my phone wet. I'm looking forward to going back to The Funplex for another After Dark night out. I thought they were gonna shortchange us but that didn't happen. We were given the whole experience. Good stuff!

First, several rides were closed -- possibly due to short staffing or needed repairs. I'd suggest the website list how many rides are closed on a given day so visitors can decide in advance whether it's worth the trip. Given how much a visit costs, it's frustrating to arrive and find a chunk of the rides unavailable. Second, the food was great, but there should be more healthier options on the menu. Finally, at every ride we visited, the staff seemed unmotivated -- dragging their feet, no greetings, no smiles. I'd recommend that staff orientation emphasize how important it is to welcome guests warmly, ideally with a smile.

Currently they're gearing up for Halloween which basically means ghoul and goblin themed stage shows and random zombies popping out of the bushes. Truth be told, if I want to be mortified by zombies, I can stroll unaccompanied through Trenton at 3am. That I can do for free. Two stars.

Plus lots of sweets like deep fried Oreos,ice cream, beignets, cheesecake on a stick. There were not a ton of rides but there was a nice variety. We will definitely check this fair out next time. Tip: if you wait till 7pm on a Saturday to get there you will be waiting in a huge line to park. When we left at 7:30 there was a huge line down the street. Plan ahead instead of complaining on Yelp that you couldn't find a place to park.

The smaller kid was limited in rides though. No roller coasters for the little one which was disappointing for her. I loved the 90s Nickelodeon nostalgia. Still had a bunch of Paw Patrol for current littles. There's also an arcade but luckily I was able to avoid that. We went to the food court for lunch and returned after.
