My husband and I had a BLAST at the Solve It Sherlock Escape Room this past week. My husband and I love a good escape room so he booked us one as a gift for Christmas. We did the Sacred Stones escape room and it was SO much fun. The Sacred Stones room was a pretty tough escape room in my opinion and because it was just the two of us we needed a bunch of clues to help us along. Unfortunately we didn't escape but Megan was an EXCELLENT game master and gently helped us along our adventure. We tended to be on the right path but needed a little nudge here and there at times. The room was themed so cool and it was so much fun figuring out the clues. It was such a fun way to enjoy one of the last weeks of 2023. We solved the the legend of the pines with 2 ppl with only seconds to spare! Overall the puzzles made sense and connected with eachother. Its nice that give a darkness level indicator for the rooms which i haven't seen in other escape rooms. The rooms within were nicely decorated and the gamemaster was super friendly and gave us guidence when he saw we were stuck on minor things. Def would come back to try the other room! read more

Very impressed by the quality of the rooms here- especially considering it is located in a beach town! Coming from someone who has played over 50 escape rooms and even worked at one, this is definitely one worth checking out. I played Legend of the Pines and the Sacred Stone back to back with two other friends. I would recommend Legend of the Pines over the Sacred Stone, but they were both fun rooms. This was a great experience! Bridget was the best game master for us and she dealt with our shenanigans for 4 different escape rooms in one day. The theming was great and the puzzles are challenging at times! We complete quarantine, magic, the pines, and sacred stones. All were very good and I highly recommend them all as well as Bridget as the game master to everyone! read more

I've done every single room here except one, and they've all been excellent. Friends who went to another local escape room company agreed Solve it Sherlock's room and puzzles were so much better. The games masters are wonderful and helpful, the atmosphere is super cool, and the facilities are nice. The pirate themed room was perfect for my Girl Scout troop (7th grade), the zombie room was very scary and difficult, the Jersey Devil themed room was very clever and you actually felt like you were outside, and the Sacred Stones room was difficult but with lots of people we were able to get through it. They really have a knack for building atmosphere and making the experience immersive. If I had one little complaint, it's that they send you an email to ask for a tip when you're done, and I think tipping culture is getting out of hand, it's like expecting your clients to supplement your employee salaries and leaving it up to chance that your employees make a good wage. Pay them more and charge more if you have to. Your puzzles are worth it. I thought the staff was great but I didn't tip because I don't want to encourage the owners to pay the staff less. read more

I've had only a few experiences with escape rooms, but this place was really tops! We took the whole family during our Jersey Shore vacation, as a break from the heat, sun, and salty sand of the beach. We were greeted by Tom, who was an ace at giving us clear directions on how to approach The Magician's Secret. Tom was very helpful and knowledgeable, and took his time explaining what we needed to know. The result? See the pic! I would highly recommend this for a group of friends or a family. Our youngest asked to have her next birthday party here- she's ready to travel the 4+ hours it takes to get here from home! (She gon' have to wait for our next Jersey trip tho!) This is such a fun escape room experience. From the kind of creepy back parking lot entrance, to the decor of the lobby, and straight on through to the escape room, this place is great and sets a fun mystery tone! The staff was friendly and helpful, and the room was very well put together with great clues and puzzles. We had a family crowd ranging in age from 6-65 and everyone had a great experience in the Pirates of the Golden Skull room. Make sure to set aside a little time before or after to try out some of the puzzles in the lobby, and take a fun prop pictures after you finish the room. read more

The host was super friendly and informative. This was our first escape room and we had a group of 8 so we were a little nervous. The entrance went perfectly with the theme even though the location is a little sketchy, but definitely worth it once you go inside. Recently our extended family had the honor of being one of the first groups to experience this new escape room. We had a blast playing "Pirates of the Golden Skull". Our group consisted of 5 adults and 3 kids ages 10 - 14, and everyone was able to participate and help out. Skeletons, puzzles, locks, maps, pirate history, scrolls, and even (empty) bottles of rum, this room had it all. Catherine, the owner and creator of the room couldn't have been nicer. When a friend of mine told me we were going to an escape room, my first reaction was "Great! I love escape rooms!". I love them because I know what to expect; however, I did not forsee our adventure ahead. Being a "wonderful" friend, she chose the zombie room, and if you know me, you know how scared I am of zombies! I went into the room with my heart about to come out of my chest! The realistic zombie didn't make matters any better. The closer he got, the more scared I was! Luckily, we had Scott to save me and protect me from the zombie. I appreciated that the actor did not go out of character, so everyone was able to have an unforgettable experience! We didn't escape on time, but we received wristbands that made me feel like a winner! Definitely would visit again due to the realistic experience and very supportive staff! read more

We had a group of 8 for my husband's birthday yesterday. Albeit difficult to find, Solve It Sherlock was a totally fun experience. The Pirate room definitely includes enough puzzles and thinking for 8 adults and we all had a great time. The manager there that day was very helpful and fun to talk to. This place is a total hidden gem. We found it nestled in the Asbury Circle, and when we got there we were taken by surprise - everything right down to the waiting area was decorated to make you feel like you were stepping back in time and solving a mystery just like Holmes and Watson. So much fun, and definitely okay for various ages. Escape rooms are NOT all the same, that is for sure. This is the best one I've seen, with a puzzle that gets you right down to the wire, and exciting! Can't wait for them to open room #2, watching and waiting. read more

Decect Escape Room. The pirate room is a copy of another game in Cherry hill at Amazing Escape room. I thought this company was unique but I guess I was wrong. Just another one trying to make a quick buck. The workers were very pleasant and made you feel welcome. The game play was good but better playing it the first time here. If you played the pirate room in cherry hill stay away from this place. I will give 3 stars for now until I play an original room at this place. read more
