Cute table cloth

The food was good . The decor was fun . It was the old sizzler building .Like all the daily specials .

The service was horrendos. I sat for 10 minutes the waiter visited the table in front of me at least twice before acknowledging me. I used to be in the industry and I know if you look certain way or dress cero way you will be mistreated. Still I will never step in this place again I hope the good at least decent otherwise I see them going out of businesses ASAP!

Dungeness Crab Special

This restaurant was absolutely amazing in every way. It's brand spanking new, so it looked great inside and it felt really clean. The food was amazing! We tried the Dungeness Crab Special which had an entire crab, a pound of shrimp, a pound of kielbasa sausage and 2 hard boiled eggs. The Cajun seasoning was delicious! We also ordered a custom combo to try the black mussels and the lobster, both fantastic. We spent $100 for dinner after all was said and done, but for 2 seafood fans we say it was worth it!

Po Boy Fried Fish

Pier 8 Cajun Seafood and Bar was great! The look and style of the restaurant is fun and colorful, while the overall ambiance of it all felt as if you were on a pier by the ocean, in the middle of Utah. It was excellently decorated and very inviting. The service was top notch, with our waitress and host being extremely friendly, while making sure that our experience was great. They made sure the food came out quickly and were checking up on us to ensure it was good to our liking. Very professional and great people! The food was great as well! It's hard to find a good seafood place in a land locked state, but these guys made it taste great. We started out with the "Combo Appetizer" that had hush puppies, calamari, and fried oysters. All of which were good! We decided to just have desert with our main course, so we chose the beignets which where soft and flaky. Very good as well. My wife ordered the "Cajun Chicken Alfredo" which she said was nice and I ordered the "Po boy fried catfish sandwich" which I thought was delicious! Of course, we had to order try out the "Seafood Combo," so we order the crawfish. I am glad to say that did not disappoint as the crawfish were delicious and were enormous! Our visit was overall great! We are definitely making this one of our favorite restaurants.

Sooo good. Took my boys and they devoured the 6 lbs of food. Be sure to get the house sauce and don't leave without the beignets!!!!

Just went here for my very first crab boil experience and I was pleasantly surprised…read more The menu wasn't too overwhelming since I've been watching crab boil mukbangs for over a year and already knew exactly what I wanted. However for a second we were a little confused about what was considered shareable versus a one person dish, but our server was amazing and stayed to explain everything to us. (Apparently most are shareable depending on your appetite) We added a couple drinks to our tab. I tried the blended specials margarita with tajin on the rim and my husband ordered a blended Sex on the Beach. I'll give it a 9 out of 10 only because the bendy heart straws were super cute but kind of a mess to drink out of. We also ordered the Mr and Mrs Crab shots. They weren't anything too special but the flavor was still decent. Both my kids ordered from the kids menu and I was honestly impressed by how good their food looked. My son had the fried shrimp with mac and cheese and my daughter ordered the chicken wings. The portions were great and the quality was impressive. Truthfully it is one of the better kids menus I've seen in a while. 10/10 no notes. Now for the main event. My husband ordered the #Crabfam Classic and I built my own boil with snow crab, mussels, head off shrimp, potatoes, corn, and an egg. We both chose the Mr and Mrs Crab seasoning at a medium heat level and we were not disappointed. I have not had seafood this good in Utah. Florida girl here with a semi San Francisco husband, so I would say we have standards. The seasoning was perfect and the shrimp was cooked just right. The spice level was spot on, but I think I could have gone even hotter. At the end of it all it only cost $140ish for a full family of 4 and that included drinks, imo a great price for what you get! The overall vibe of the place was great, I drive past this spot all the time and never see many people there. If you are in American Fork or near Lehi High, I definitely recommend giving it a try.

I don't want a server to hover, but it took a while to get a water refill. The food was quite good. Surprised by how good the hush puppies were. Sometimes they tend to be dry but these were just right and very flavorful. Also got the crab fam classic. Appreciated the server input on the garlic butter. You can get seasoned or not. We got seasoned and it had great flavor along with good garlic butter. The amount of food received was not quite what other places have, but the flavor was on point and the meats cooked well. I would definitely go back and hope they are able to stick around.

This is a family run business from a Haitian family. I had the pleasure of having the owner take my order and make recommendations. Menus are online through a QR code with pictures along each item for those unfamiliar with the cuisine I got the Grenadia, a passion fruit drink, it comes in a huge mason jar, sweet, a little tart, refreshing. Akra as the appetizer, it's a like a fritter or hush puppy made of yucca and yautia, super flavorful with a hint of spice. It comes with a tangy slaw on the side, almost a pickled flavor. I was a fan of this. There were wings and these patties that are like meat pies I wanted to order but I'll have to come back to try them next time. For my entree I got the fried goat. It comes with beans and rice and a sauce on the side. The goat was tender and oh so flavorful. Those beans and rice were rich and tasty. The beans were a bigger white bean, not the rice and beans you're thinking. Exceptional service and hospitality, I recommend giving them a try if you're in the area

I ordered the combo seafood boil and the calamari appetizer to start. The appetizer did come out after our meals so we didn't get to eat much of it since we wanted our meals. I don't know why it didn't come out shortly after ordering. The calamari appetizer does have fried jalapeños as well, which is a nice addition. The dipping sauces weren't anything special - I wish they had a jalapeño ranch like other seafood boil restaurants do. The seafood boil itself was delicious! I got 1lb of shrimp, with the head off, 1/2 pound of black mussels, and then they include sausage, corn, and potatoes. I got a mix of all the seasonings/sauces and a medium spice level. The flavor was so good and it's so fun dipping everything into the sauce before eating it. I also ordered a side of white rice to add my sauce to as well - always a must! The shrimp was juicy and tasted very fresh. The mussels also tasty fresh and did not have a sour or fishy taste. Everything was very yummy! I can't wait to come back! Prices are fantastic for portions!

Shrimp with head on, side of rice on the side, with the medium kickin' sauce (combo of all the sauces together) - had great flavor and the shrimp was great! Comes with 2 potatoes and 1 corn on the cob. Also ordered the fried calamari appetizer with jalapeños - flavor was good, but needs another sauce served with it to justify/elevate it to another level - maybe some cilantro ranch! Service was attentive and friendly. Will def come back here to bring the rest of the family! Love the fact that this was originally China Kitchen, and they are still China kitchen, so you can have your favorite Chinese dishes here as well! They just added the seafood boil option to half the menu.
