Food: I went for a second time actually during happy hour. I had two rolls, both were spicy and i forgot the name of it. Not helpful hear. I texted my friend the name of those two rolls and when i remember I will tell you about it. haha Service: this was the difference maker. The lady was by herself serving everyone, wasn't busy, but it wasn't slow either. More attentive in her service and actually coming around. Ambiance: this was on a gloomy day, and I was next to the window with the natural light. This gets a four star just by the server just being a decent human being. Good happy hour, a lot of the discount was a couple of bucks of a specific happy hour menu. I can go again since it's nearby.
The food was amazing I was so excited to try new flavors I didn't take pictures of all the food . But I can say the Chilean Sea Bass was amazing! It melted in my mouth. We also had the green mussels also amazing as was every thing else we ate . It was our first time there we will definitely be back!!!!
Pier 215 is a Japanese restaurant that serves a variety of sushi, rice bowls, and some drinks. There's many options but it's pretty standard when it comes to sushi. The thing that sets this place apart from other sushi spots is the fact that they have a Kaiseki option as well as a sake sampler. If you want to try something different, I highly suggest either of these options. Kaiseki is pretty much an assorted variety of Japanese dishes from vegetables to sushi. Ambiance is pretty nice as I've only went there when it's night time. Fairly dimly lit so it brings a romantic vibe if you want to bring a date here. They can accommodate a good amount of people, but a large group may be limited depending on how busy they are. Whenever I've been here, the service has been pretty decent since it wasn't too busy. The service was pretty standard as they would check up on us every so often. Overall, this place has good quality Japanese food while specializing in sushi/sashimi and has great options when it comes to drinks as well.
Great service, very nice ambiance. We had a table near the window so we could catch the sunset. Food was pretty good as well, received a thumbs up from the party Appetizers were great. Sushi was good. Dessert was great! Also we received a $20 voucher for spending $100.

We love coming here. Now we live closer which is great, we can cone more often. The place is clean and the service is fast. The sushi was so fresh and yummy! The udon noodles were amazing! Edamame was a nice blend of sweet & spicy! We will def come back more often!

I grabbed a seat at the bar so I wouldn't take up a whole table, and the service was definitely attentive enough maybe even a little too attentive, since three different people asked if I was ready to order. The food, especially the fish, was delicious and the overall vibe of the place was great. The only downside was in the restroom, which was out of both toilet paper and paper towels despite how many staff were on shift. Other than that, it was a really nice experience.

But with all the construction going on outside I was kinda glad there wasnt. The happy hour menu was amazing and we had our few favorites. If you ask for the salmon skin roll, ask for it crunchy. Service was outstanding, our server was Z. She was quick, knowledgeable, friendly and personable. I told my friends she would make a good bartender. We will def be back!
Happy hour offers some pretty solid deals. The beers come out to about 7 which is ok but they start off at $14 so make of that what you will. The rolls are the best deals with $17 coming down to $10. There were also hand rolls and some other items. The regular menu is huge and generally casual sushi restaurant fare tho I did see some interesting specialty dishes. Overall, solid local sushi restaurant off the strip. It has a lot of room and the food is solid. Value for price was also solid

Shout out to low-carb eaters: You can enjoy sushi at Pier 215 because they have no-rice options. The service was excellent. The place is clean, spacious, and nicely decorated.
Decent sushi, but the price to quality ratio isn't very good. For how expensive it is and how far away from the city it is, the fish quality isn't very good. Wanted to try a new spot that had good reviews, but we were pretty disappointed. The inside of the restaurant is beautiful and the presentation of the food is great, but the quality just wasn't there
Had pretty high expectations for Pier 215 from social media. Service and ambiance were nice but the food was a bit of a mixed bag. Despite all the good reviews, we didn't have a good impression of their sushi. Drinks weren't super strong and well made. Truffle Parmesan fries were a good texture, but didn't taste any truffle. Sushi dinner had a good variety and flavor. However, the rice was dry and the texture of some of the fish was off and rubbery. Surf & turf was delicious and was served on a sizzling plate.

Oh I can see why this place is a social media darling and a place I'd love to come back to on at least a monthly basis. We came in for my mom's birthday and ordered a good amount of food. All of it was delicious, especially the sushi. I love no rice rolls and they had one that is my new favorite. We also really loved the miso salmon brown rice risotto. I could eat that everyday. It was actually supposed to be just for my mom, but we all ate off of her plate, it was so good. The nutella crunch cake was also a delight! The service here is great. The servers are super friendly and nice and very attentive. We didn't get any recognition of a birthday but that was ok. We got my mom a dessert with candles at home so she didn't need it here. The restaurant itself is nicely decorated, with a few Instagram-able areas to take pics at. We loved the open kitchen and the cute little pier themed decorations. Definitely a place to get fresh and delicious a la carte sushi! read more
Stopped at Pier 215 for lunch on a weekday. It was my first time there, but won't be my last! They have a handful of lunch specials. I decided on the Sashimi Bento Box. The sashimi was all very fresh and tasty. The miso soup, salad and other items were all great. The combination makes for a good deal! The restaurant is clean and has a fair amount of seating. The service was good and our waiter was nice. Great experience! read more

Haven't been in to dine here in a while. Was great the last time in with friendly service and a beautiful airy interior. Restaurants need to learn how to pack to go orders from Pier 215. They are consistently the best packers for cold food such as sushi which needs to stay cool. They separate the cold food with the hot food very nicely with dividers and actually put a bag of ice in between as well. Love the effort they put into this and makes me know they care about the customers even if not dining in. Got Yellowtail and Salmon belly in my bento last time so that was awesome. Higher quality food with great value! read more

This was the loveliest Valentine's day!!! Everyone here was so nice and kind, the place was cozy and warm and the food was just delicious. The presentation was gorgeous, but even better was the wonderful freshness and flavor of the food. We started with a sake flight, and there were so many different flavors from dry to sweet and creamy. After we had delicious brussel sprouts to start, then had pork belly appetizer that was so delectable we had a second. We then had the lemon salmon roll and the lobster roll, both were delicious. We ended with oysters Rockefeller... It was the best Valentine's meal and the staff made it so special, they even took a Polaroid of us together. It was wonderful, will for sure be back! read more

Sorry for the late review. My friend was leaving town for a month so I took her to dinner at pier 215, 100% a good choice. The shrimp tempura roll was the best I have had in a long time. As always i had them hold the eel sause and add lemmon! It was perfect! My friend had chicken Teriyaki. It was fantastic she let me try a bite. She loved it too! The place was very cute and felt high end but was very affordable. Both of us to eat was 50.00 with green tea. I had edamame and 2 rolls. Everything was clean and tidy. The staff was nice and I cant wait to go back. Yes they have military discount and yes they have a happy hour. read more

Pretty impressed with this spot, although there is a lot of competition in the area. The wine selection is top-notch, offering a great variety to pair with your meal-also offer full bottle purchases. They also have a full bar with some really fun and unique cocktails that make it even more enjoyable. I was honestly impressed by the quality of the fish - so fresh and flavorful! And the sushi options are plentiful, catering to all kinds of tastes. On top of that, the staff were super friendly and attentive, making sure we had everything we needed. I highly recommend this spot for a great meal and a fun atmosphere! read more

This is a great spot for lunch. They have a dedicated lunch menu and have happy hour menus. Food was great, service was ok, atmosphere was fab. Enjoyed the restaurant and food. Just note that parking can be hectic. Sorry forgot to take photo of menu, but there were lots of choices, I just focused on the lunch menu. The sashimi lunch was $21 read more
I've been coming here for a little over 3 years now, and today the food was disappointing. I haven't come in a while but today I noticed a huge decline in the quality of the food. The dragon roll was delicious, the pan fried gyosas were a huge let down, they used to be better, it literally tasted so bland. The pork belly kimchi fried rice was alright, again it used to tasted so much better today it was overly sweet, and barely any pork belly chunks. I was disappointed because they usually deliver amazing food! Service was great as always our server was very attentive and she was very nice. What I really loved about this menu is they don't just offer sushi options they also offer a variety of hot appetizers and hot dishes/plates! We started off with the honey walnut shrimp and the nigiri tower! We also ordered 3 rolls to share! Everything was so delish and fresh. Taste and quality was OUTSTANDING! It has nice ambience inside. The parking is limited in a congested strip mall. The food was tasty but overpriced for the portions. It was over 100.00 for 2 no alcohol and a shared tiny piece of cheesecake. We left barely satisfied but not even full. This place is a one and done. read more
Absolutely amazing experience at Pier 215 for lunch on Mother's Day. (It really was for my BFF's birthday) We got there right when they opened, and there was already a line, which was a good sign. Although we didn't have a reservation, we were seated in less than 5 minutes. The restaurant is super cute! The design is beautiful. It is a small place, but so nicely decorated. Service was prompt and friendly as well. We opted for the Korean fried chicken, the golden knight roll, the baked crab roll, and another roll (I can't remember the name). I got the passion fruit margarita, and my friend got the cucumber mojito. Everything was super fresh and tasty. The Korean fried chicken was delicious; but you have to eat it while it's hot, or else the breading starts to get a bit too hard. We loved all of our rolls too. The drinks were tasty, but the margarita was a bit too sweet for me. We were stuffed and probably ordered too much, but oh well, it was a celebration! Overall, we absolutely loved it and will definitely be back. The total before tip was $95, which is a bit high for lunch, but considering the amount of food we got and the ambiance, it was worth it. read more
Absolutely amazing meal from start to finish! I've had Pier 215 bookmarked for awhile now and finally checked it out with a few other foodies. We tried a variety of dishes and majority of their new menu items. My favorites were the toro with uni, pesto oysters and garlic chili shrimp. Honestly nothing I tried here was bad. The fish is very fresh & strip quality without having to drive all the way to the strip. I like the intimate vibe of the dining room, perfect for a date night. The cocktails also were great. Five stars and then some, my only regret is not going to Pier 215 sooner we went for the first time absolutely loved everything, there food is delicious, services is quick and friendly, the decor is very nice and clean the lighting is good, also there water is good comes in a nice stainless cup with a thin lip very refreshing for hot summer days. Anyone that eats out knows there are some places the water is not the best. She even brought me a side of lemons for my water upon request. There menu has a great selection of sushi rolls we tried there lobster Two Fifteen roll the presentation was phenomenal the texture and flavors was delightful, salmon fiesta roll had a nice kick to it, we had the baked crab roll I would say this was the best baked roll I ever had ! We also really enjoyed the flavor combination of the lemon salmon roll the thickness of the lemon was perfect. We finished the night off with Angus Ribeye Steak wet-aged Angus beef came with seasonal veggies with a side of chimichurri sauce, balsamic teriyaki sauce and salt, chimichurri was excellent! We also had a house salad that came with a really good light and refreshing dressing, definitely will be going back. read more
