Excellent food and service! The only place I know that has afternoon tea service with sushi. Will definitely come back

Pier 215 is a Japanese restaurant that serves a variety of sushi, rice bowls, and some drinks. There's many options but it's pretty standard when it comes to sushi. The thing that sets this place apart from other sushi spots is the fact that they have a Kaiseki option as well as a sake sampler. If you want to try something different, I highly suggest either of these options. Kaiseki is pretty much an assorted variety of Japanese dishes from vegetables to sushi. Ambiance is pretty nice as I've only went there when it's night time. Fairly dimly lit so it brings a romantic vibe if you want to bring a date here. They can accommodate a good amount of people, but a large group may be limited depending on how busy they are. Whenever I've been here, the service has been pretty decent since it wasn't too busy. The service was pretty standard as they would check up on us every so often. Overall, this place has good quality Japanese food while specializing in sushi/sashimi and has great options when it comes to drinks as well.

Usually get takeout from here. Always delicious and they are the best at packing cold and hot foods without getting the sushi hot or hot foods cold. Efficient packaging for takeout.

We love coming here. Now we live closer which is great, we can cone more often. The place is clean and the service is fast. The sushi was so fresh and yummy! The udon noodles were amazing! Edamame was a nice blend of sweet & spicy! We will def come back more often!

First time here for me but my friend comes all the time. It was chill inside and we had a good view. The weather was nice and it would've been nice to sit outside. But with all the construction going on outside I was kinda glad there wasnt. The happy hour menu was amazing and we had our few favorites. If you ask for the salmon skin roll, ask for it crunchy. Service was outstanding, our server was Z. She was quick, knowledgeable, friendly and personable. I told my friends she would make a good bartender. We will def be back!

Happy hour offers some pretty solid deals. The beers come out to about 7 which is ok but they start off at $14 so make of that what you will. The rolls are the best deals with $17 coming down to $10. There were also hand rolls and some other items. The regular menu is huge and generally casual sushi restaurant fare tho I did see some interesting specialty dishes. Overall, solid local sushi restaurant off the strip. It has a lot of room and the food is solid. Value for price was also solid

First and foremost, I highly recommend you enjoy the food at Pier 215! Everything we ordered came out fresh, artistically presented, and delicious! Shout out to low-carb eaters: You can enjoy sushi at Pier 215 because they have no-rice options. The service was excellent. The place is clean, spacious, and nicely decorated.

This was the loveliest Valentine's day!!! Everyone here was so nice and kind, the place was cozy and warm and the food was just delicious. The presentation was gorgeous, but even better was the wonderful freshness and flavor of the food. We started with a sake flight, and there were so many different flavors from dry to sweet and creamy. After we had delicious brussel sprouts to start, then had pork belly appetizer that was so delectable we had a second. We then had the lemon salmon roll and the lobster roll, both were delicious. We ended with oysters Rockefeller... It was the best Valentine's meal and the staff made it so special, they even took a Polaroid of us together. It was wonderful, will for sure be back!

Decent sushi, but the price to quality ratio isn't very good. For how expensive it is and how far away from the city it is, the fish quality isn't very good. Wanted to try a new spot that had good reviews, but we were pretty disappointed. The inside of the restaurant is beautiful and the presentation of the food is great, but the quality just wasn't there

I stopped in on a Friday and was pleasantly surprised that it wasn't too busy. I grabbed a seat at the bar so I wouldn't take up a whole table, and the service was definitely attentive enough maybe even a little too attentive, since three different people asked if I was ready to order. The food, especially the fish, was delicious and the overall vibe of the place was great. The only downside was in the restroom, which was out of both toilet paper and paper towels despite how many staff were on shift. Other than that, it was a really nice experience.

Had pretty high expectations for Pier 215 from social media. Service and ambiance were nice but the food was a bit of a mixed bag. Despite all the good reviews, we didn't have a good impression of their sushi. Drinks weren't super strong and well made. Truffle Parmesan fries were a good texture, but didn't taste any truffle. Sushi dinner had a good variety and flavor. However, the rice was dry and the texture of some of the fish was off and rubbery. Surf & turf was delicious and was served on a sizzling plate.

We come here often for the tasty sushi! The happy hour is great! We were pleasantly surprised by the Nutella Crunch Cake. The vibes are good and I would definitely recommend a visit if you're in the area.

My husband and I each ordered a pound of shrimp each but in different preparations. I ordered mine in garlic with 2 corn and one potato with the shrimp peeled without the head. I love my shrimp with the peel and head but I wasn't feeling well and wanted to make the meal easy to eat so I sacrificed a little in the flavor department for convenience. When I opened the bag I was surprised that the potato was huge. I've never had a huge russet potato used in preparation before. I thought I wasn't going to like it but it was actually pretty good. And it was equivalent to at least 3 or 4 potatoes that you usually get in these type of bags. The shrimp , corn , and potatoes were delicious in the super garlicky butter sauce. I dripped a little on my clothes that are ruined forever and I didn't even care because I was enjoying my meal. Oil never washes out so be careful. My husband ordered his shrimp with shell and head in with lemon pepper sauce and two corn and three potatoes. He had a lot of potato! Lol. His was good but not at all what we were expecting. We originally planned to share both styles but his was so spicy that I couldn't eat any of his. We were expecting lemon pepper like the spice we get at the super market or the rub we get on wings. What he got looked like shrimp in molten lava. It was pepper as in super spicy chili pepper sauce with lemon slices. It had a nice flavor but since I ordered it mild I couldn't understand how spicy it came. The shrimp also came peeled with out the heads. Luckily my husband is better with spice than I am. He was able to eat most of it but would have enjoyed it more if it had been milder and had the heads as he ordered it. I can still recommend this restaurant as the flavors are very good and if we had eaten in the restaurant instead of having it delivered then they probably would have remade my husbands meal the way he ordered it for him and I would have been able to give them five stars. Unfortunately as it is I took off a star for missing two order notes. They did a great job packing up for Togo food. They even give you gloves and bibs.

Customer service was on point from start to finish, and every dish came out fresh and hot. We ordered a variety of items off the menu and were honestly impressed across the board. The gyoza ($6) was perfectly pan-fried with a great crispy bottom, and the filling was packed with flavor. The dipping sauce had just the right hint of spice to bring it all together. The takoyaki ($6) were hands down some of the best we've had at any restaurant. Super crispy on the outside, and when you bite in, the inside just melts and oozes out, so good and full of flavor. The squid leg karaage ($10) was a great starter. Squeezing fresh lemon over it and dipping it in the mayo and spicy sauce combo made it even better. Definitely recommend this one. We were especially excited about the soft shell crab ($9) since it's hard to find it served on its own. It did not disappoint... perfect crunch, great flavor, and the dipping sauce really elevated it. The tonkatsu curry ($13) was a standout. The jasmine rice was cooked perfectly, the curry had rich flavor with tender carrots throughout, and the katsu was fried to perfection... crispy on the outside, juicy on the inside. Easily a 10/10 dish. The curry udon ($9) is perfect if you're craving something comforting...just curry and noodles done right. The udon ($8) had a flavorful broth and perfectly cooked noodles, simple but executed really well. The crazy dragon roll ($13) was definitely a highlight. The amount of eel on top was impressive, and the roll itself was a great size. Everything from the rice to the flavor balance was spot on.
