Hibachi lunch meals
Corinne P.

Delicious and great deal to come here for lunch! The lunch special is only available during the weekday and it's a must try!! Great prices for what you get. We had the privilege of a private table cooked by the owner himself. He was very nice and talked to us while he was cooking. Inside had 4 hibachi tables along with their counter service poke restaurant. Very clean and nicely decorated inside. The staff were all very friendly. I ordered the salmon with garlic noodles and my boyfriend ordered the ribeye with garlic fried rice. Everything was so flavorful and delicious! It came with different kinds of sauces too. Our meals came with a choice of protein, steamed, garlic fried rice or noodles plus vegetables. We've been craving the fresh garlic fried rice you get at hibachi restaurants and it satisfied our craving! Can't wait to come back and try their poke selections too!

We came for dinner early on a Saturday and thoroughly enjoyed both our food and our chef, Jason! We ordered the chicken entree and the 12oz lobster, shrimp, and ribeye trio entree. Both came with the quintessential clear soup which we slurped down waaay faster than we would have liked! We also received some shrimp and seasoned vegetables from the grill, along with a ginger salad, with house made dressing that was delicious. Jason did a fantastic job of pacing our meal, curating sauces based on our tastes, and entertaining without getting in the way of the best part...the eating! The garlic fried rice was the perfect accompaniment to my medium rare steak, lobster, and shrimp. All of our meats were cooked to perfection and the only complaint we had about the dipping sauces was that it was too difficult to choose which one to use! Our waitress also did a great job of refilling our drinks. (I wish they had an unsweetened black iced tea option!) We essentially had a private dining room for our dinner and look forward to trying the sushi and pokè another time! As a sports fan, having a current sporting event like a MLB game on the lone tv in the dining area would have been a plus, my wife may disagree.

Really wanted sushi tonight near our air bnb and found this place. The food took a really long time to arrive. It was fresh and I liked what I ate, but we were the only non hibachi table so it felt slower than I expected for sure. The server asked us if we needed anything else before bringing all our items so I had to ask for the rest of our food.

The things that made this place truly unique was its inclusion of black rice and a salad with a ginger dressing. The service was also super friendly allowing me to try the black rice and ensure they can accommodate my allergy easily. I got the to see bowl which was a great healthier option with the salad on the bottom and I love the fact that you can have add a bunch of toppings both fresh and crunchy too. I would definitely return to try another bowl or even their sushi. My only issue was that I wish the poke fish was a bit colder as a preference.

I haven't been to ToSee Roll in over a year and a half maybe and I see they did a way with the sitting areas to eat your food for the Teppanyaki tables. People call this "Hibachi" but hibachi is grilling food over coals and open flame while teppanyaki is cooking food on flat griddle which is what most "hibachi" places are doing. I've never used the sitting area even though it was so inviting and dim. So having another style of food added to the restaurant is a good thing. The one reason I used to always like coming here is for the price, quality of raw food and the portions they give. I see nothing has changed in that case and the price has also remained the same from the last time I came. The one thing I remembered though is the scoop size of the protein portion seemed a little bigger compared to this time but it's still tasted the same as I remember, so all in all I'll still be back and I'll for sure come try their teppanyaki.

Like many establishments post pandemic, To See Roll has changed. In this case they've added a hibachi section. They still have build your own poke bowls and what not. Quality of poke seems to have decreased slightly. The fish is not as fresh. Portions are not bad. They still allow all sorts of toppings included such as avocado, corn, edamame, masago, seaweed salad ... all free of additional charge. Workers are friendly. Seating is changed to make room for hibachi grills. Overall not bad. Just not as great as before.

This place is my new favorite poke and bowl place! I got the eel bowl which was incredible, and my husband got a poke bowl. Both of them were SO fresh and flavorful! But what really left an impression is the man who served us who was the owner. He was so passionate about the fresh ingredients, so friendly with suggestions on what we might like. His energy was so contagious! I'm totally rooting for him! Plus, they just installed hibachi tables that look amazing! He said they should be opening up hibachi service within a few weeks, so we will definitely be back to try that! My one critique is that I didn't see any sushi burrito options. They should totally do sushi burritos!

Absolutely amazing service. When I walked up, the gentleman helped me decide on a good bowl to order. He had three different types of rice to choose from. I went with the black rice. Everything looked so fresh and clean. I was greeted when I walked in. Although it was the salmon bowl I was able to switch out one of the scoops for tuna. I added the veggies that I wanted that did not come with the bowl and they had drinks and different sushi rolls. I wish I had more time, but I will definitely be coming back. he let me know that they are able to make any sushi roll and modifications or totally fine. I would recommend this place to anyone who likes pokey bowls or sushi. They close at 9:30 which is great! Go check this place out Bowl was 10/10 very clean and nutritious and I feel great after eating it. He also recommended the pickled radishes, which was a nice crunch. They are the yellow pickled radishes in the picture. I ate everything

Steak with noodles and veggies - lunch special

I was not disappointed! I have been wanting to come here since I moved to this side of town, 2 years ago, and feeling got to try it out! They added hibachi, 9months ago per the cook. They have smokeless brand new grills. We ordered steak with noodles - lunch special and it was perfect. Good pricing as well, which can be hard to find around town. The service was great, greeted immediately upon entering, and provided with meal options - hibachi or poke. I will definitely be back! Recommend trying this place out!

My favorite poke bowl place in town and has been my go-to spot over the years! The service is friendly and efficient, the food is tasty in good portions, and the ambiance is welcoming of the place. Love the tuna and salmon poke bowls. All the veggies are so fresh and the sauces compliment the flavors. YUM.

If I Could Give a Thousand Stars, I Would! I've been to this sushi spot before and always enjoyed it, but today... today was divine timing. I returned after a while, and I can now say with full certainty that it was Source that brought me back because I had the single best service experience of my entire life. Haru. There are not enough words in the English language (or in any language) to fully capture how wonderful, warm, radiant, kind, and thoughtful this human being is. From the moment I walked in, I felt seen, valued, and genuinely cared for. Her energy is next level. You don't just get served by Haru, you get wrapped in light, joy, and the feeling of being exactly where you're meant to be. She was attentive without hovering, kind without pretense, and so genuinely joyful that I left with the biggest smile on my face and the deepest gratitude in my heart. THIS is what customer service should be. Scratch that... this is what human connection should be. If you ever visit, and you're lucky enough to be served by Haru, just know you're in for something truly special. She made my day... no, my week and I will absolutely be coming back not just for the sushi, but for the soul-brightening experience she creates. Haru, thank you. You are a gift.

Really great bowls and I love that they have black rice - adds a great flavor to the dish rather than just being a filler.

Hello, I was just wondering if you have any vegan options?

I know they have tofu- you could easily make a veggie bowl instead of fish.

You don't need to go to the Strip for Ari yeah!…read more Ari Sushi & Izakaya is a very well-Yelped restaurant in the southwest. I've particularly seen buddies post about it on Instagram a lot, and I finally made my way out there since I found that it aligned with my mom's food craving. I went for the Ari Ari Combo ($29.00). It started with a little bowl of balanced miso soup and a tiny side salad with fresh greens and a simple sesame dressing, and was followed by six thin but delicious sashimi slices and four basic but also solid-quality nigiri. I would be more than happy to come back try to more of their raw fish any time. If that doesn't sound like enough for lunch, I did share other food items. The Garlic Edamame ($7.00) felt a little less salted than I expected but was a good portion and had plenty of both a garlic sauce and crispy garlic slivers. I also helped out with a Bento with 3 items ($25.00): bulgogi, mixed tempura, and spicy tuna roll. The bulgogi was tender but not strongly marinated enough and the spicy tuna roll felt pretty standard, but I did really enjoy the shrimp tempura and the veggie tempura pieces which I tried. They were super hot and crispy while being cooked perfectly inside, and the sauce was perfect. The music was relaxing and not played at a very high volume. The restaurant is a little more dim than I'd like and could benefit from overhead narrow-angle lights, but maybe the food was just that good that the lighting wasn't so important. The server was happy to refill my complimentary water with lemon as often as needed, as well as to add more water to the Hot Green Tea ($4.00). I did try some of the tea, and it was potent and low in bitterness. I'm pleased to report that Ari Sushi really does offer delicious sushi, enough so that I'll probably have to make more trips from Henderson to try more of their menu. If you want high quality mid-price-range sushi that's not in an all you can eat format, this is a great place to look.

Adding cream cheese was an additional $3. Overall experience was okay, the service was great! The quality was okay, I wouldn't mind trying the place out again but ordering other things off the menu.

First off, the nigiri deserves a shoutout--the fish-to-rice ratio was on point. Each piece had a generous cut of fresh fish without overwhelming the rice, which made every bite feel balanced and satisfying. You can tell they pay attention to the details. We also tried a few hot dishes, and they didn't disappoint. The karaage came out crispy on the outside and juicy inside, perfectly seasoned without being too heavy. The salmon steak was another standout--flavorful, tender, and cooked just right. Same goes for the beef short rib, which was rich, well-marinated, and fell apart with every bite. Service was just as solid as the food. Our server was attentive, friendly, and kept everything flowing smoothly without hovering--always a plus. What really makes this place stand out, though, is the value. Their weekday lunch special (until 4pm) is a great deal for the quality you're getting, and if you're out late, the $19 late-night special after 10pm is hard to beat. Overall, Mr. Shota is a spot I'd definitely come back to--whether it's for a casual lunch, a solid dinner, or a late-night bite. Great food, great service, and even better pricing.

Upon walking in, we were greeted by Frankie (I hope I spelled her name correctly). She was incredibly friendly and helped me choose between the 2 drinks I was hemming and hawing over. She's also the one that makes the croissants available - which are delicious btw. She also dropped a new (to me) fun fact when we were chatting about being lactose intolerant haha. For our afternoon treats, with Frankie's input, I ordered the Matcha Soft Served Latte w/ Chocolate Crunch (with oat milk to lessen the amount of dairy) in the regular size. The portion was massive and it was incredibly delicious. After taking a few bites of the soft serve on top, I mixed it all together and it was just so creamy with the vibrancy & umami flavors of matcha coming through nicely - the little bits of crunchy chocolate also worked so well in this drink. I also did have a Matcha Croissant which is filled with a matcha cream that's light & airy. Absolutely zero complaints about what I chose. Very enjoyable! My husband doesn't like matcha, so he opted for the Hojicha Float w/ Mochi and the Hojicha Cream Roll. Both were very good. He especially loved the big mochi balls in his drink and the dense center of the Hojicha Cream Roll. He was quite happy with what he chose too. Aside from the fantastic menu and quality drinks/pastries, this space was also beautifully decorated. We loved how much seating was available! Chairs were very comfortable and we noticed the booths all had ample outlet plugs, making this a great place to come work or study for a few hours. There are also two gender neutral restrooms on site which were nicely decorated and perfectly clean. My only (extremely minor) complaint is that I wish they had a self-serve water area. Perhaps there was one and I just didn't see it, but that would be a lovely addition. I will definitely be back again with my husband, friends, and maybe even by myself to get some work done! So happy to have finally tried Nana's; I'm hooked!
